The patio is dog friendly.(Including water for my pup) The food is really good but the service was excruciatingly slow. Like so slow that someone from a nearby table walked away because nobody would take their order. Great place to go if you aren’t in a hurry.

I just shared one of the savory and sweet crepes, delicious! Best crepes around. Eating outside on the corner and listening to the French music is a good touch. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

I’ve been here twice and I really did love the Nutella crêpe with strawberries and bananas and also the chorizo crêpe for b fast. I came the other day with my husband and he ordered a steak… & let me just say he will literally eat anything lol. He hated it. It had a lot of fat and the flavor just wasn’t good. And I ordered a chicken crêpe with green chile inside and it was good but the crêpe had a vanilla flavor to it which just didn’t really go well with the chicken. The service was great though.

Just ok, verging on bad. Our eggs florentine was way over cooked. The bacon wasn’t crisp, and the coffee wasn’t very good at all. There are definitely better breakfast places in the area to choose from. On a good note, service was friendly and the ambiance was too. Maybe breakfast just isn’t their thing.

As soon as you walk in, there is the sent of freshly made crepes, coffee, and the quaint atmosphere. My boyfriend ordered the pancake parfai, a large pancake with Greek yogurt and fresh berries. I ordered the French Toast with bacon, eggs, and fresh fruit. The atmosphere was perfect for a lazy morning and the food was great. Portions are not huge, but are a nice size. Definitely going back. FYI not a good place for children or parties over 4. The restaurant is small but nice.

This used to be one of my favorite places in Uptown to eat, but it definitely isn’t anymore. The food, as usual, was good. I haven’t really eaten anything here that I’ve been truly disappointed with. We initially went here because they used to serve tomato bisque soup every Tuesday… not anymore. I ordered a turkey pesto sandwich, which tasted extremely dry… so I ordered a side of pesto. Not only was I not told there was going to be a charge for it, the charge for a small container was almost $ 1.50! Not to mention, it took about 10 minutes to get it. The service… is done with a smile, but it is so, so, so, so slow. This is not the place to go if you have any sort of time commitment afterward, or likely to eat soon after ordering. The attentiveness to our table after ordering food was non-existent. Our waters were filled once and then we were brought a carafe to serve ourselves. This honestly would have been fine if when it was empty, it was refilled… or, at least, offered to be refilled. My friend went to the register to pay while I was in the restroom. While she was waiting for change, I walked out and saw our empty table was mostly cleared, but the change was on the table… leaving much more money there than we had planned. So, overall… food is decent, though not necessarily worth the wait. Service sucks. And so there’s one restaurant we just crossed off our list for lunch options.

Unfortunately I did not even get to try this restaurant because their phone system is horrendous! The phone is never answered so why would I leave a voicemail? The website does not answer my question either. I guess I will not get to try this place but based on some of the reviews I guess that might not be such a bad thing!

Of course I was craving breakfast so I looked up a new spot to try with my friend. Parking sucks but what do you expect from uptown Whittier honestly. There’s spots out front if you’re lucky enough to find one. There’s a few table outside & inside there’s a good amount of seating. This place has a romantic intimate feel to it. The menu has a lot of options which is great depending on what you’re craving but I think it was pricy for the quality of food produced. I got the breakfast panini & their tiramisu pancakes. The so called panini was just a over priced ham & cheese croissant that was falling apart. The side of potatoes that came with it was cooked with bell peppers & onions neither of which I wanted. Which wasn’t listed on the menu or else I wouldn’t have gotten it. The pancakes weren’t burnt and unpleasant to eat they had a bitter chard taste.

Second time coming here. walked in with no one greeting me or even acknowledging me till I had to wave at the cooks. Service was below average. Took us a while to get someone to even come to our table for drinks. Our waitress wasn’t a bitch, but had no customer service skills. She looked at us in the end and said«.the check?» Tf. Ok. how bout«are you guys ready for check?» As someone who was a server before, I know what good service is. Not friendly, didn’t even crack a smile. I wrote on the receipt. Just tryna kill em with kindness. Sorry Devon !

So I was looking for a good crepes place & found this cute hipster restaurant. Everything was good the only downside was the strawberries were frozen in my ban-berries crêpe & in my brothers strawberry lemonade. The warm crêpe made the strawberry melt a little bit but not enough to where it hurt my teeth because it was frozen. Other than that, it was good.

Took some friends to breakfast and was disappointed with the whole experience. Breakfast food was nothing special, eggs Benedict over cooked, lemon pancakes sauce too sweet. Potatoes over seasoned. Utensils were dirty and on a Saturday morning being the second customers it took way too long for the food to come out. One waitress, meh. Expensive for nothing special. Not eating here again.

Came in because I LOVE crepes and was hungry. I had turkey pesto panni that came on a french baguette, which was kinda weird but ok. When I got my sandwich it was ALL bread. VERY little meat, once slice of tomatoe and a spread of pesto– thats it. My boyfriends sandwich had even less meat(i think he got prescottoi or something like that). I also got a side salad which was just mixed greens– nothing else. I also got the beef veggie soup which was good. Now the crepes– the bananas foster was AMAZING! We added walnuts which took it to another level. I wouldn’t go back if I was hungry to eat lunch or dinner, but for dessert DEFINITELY!

First time eating savory crepes. My sister got this from groupon. Came here since we were hungry. It is located at the corner of the street. Parking can get a little packed. Just have to find parking around the streets. Inside, seems like a little French atmosphere(though I haven’t been to France). It is kinda dark and the music is French. The plates are huge. I was super super full by the end. Over stuffed myself. There are a bunch of food options to choose from. The waiter recommended the two items, which we got. Service is super slow. There wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant either. (16.75) spring salmon — I felt like there was a lot of onions in this dish. The salmon tasted a little bitter. Not sure why. The diced potatoes was good. I like their mixture of mushrooms and chicken. (11.00) chicken mushroom herb — I personally like this dish. It was flavorful and it tasted really hearty. They also mushrooms. There was a band that came in with their instruments. I think they play in the small restaurant. Didn’t stay to hear.

This place is cute but the food and service could use some work. We came in on a Thursday morning so there were only a few tables being used. We ordered a scramble and an omelette. The Poulet Scramble(which was okay), but it did lack some flavor as the added salsa was only drizzled on top and not to mention the breakfast potatoes were cold and stale. The Freta omelette was good, but was overloaded with onion and Hollandaise sauce and the potatoes were also cold and stale. We then ordered a Nutella and banana crêpe and specifically stated no whipped cream, but when it was brought there was whipped cream all over the top. But it was the best thing we ordered and what saved our visit! Our server was nice, but not very attentive. She never asked us if we would like more coffee(we had to ask for coffee twice) or if we needed anything else. She even brought us our check before we were done ordering. Although this place has potential, it’s very unlikely that we will return.

I came here today for an early dinner with my sister and son, my son did a create your own and created a pizza with a French onion soup, I had a sandwich and fos, my sister had the lentils/bacon soup and salad, and as a treat we had apple a la mode which was very good. The service was great. My son and I really enjoy coming here, the food is good.

I came here with a party of 8 for a 2PM brunch. A friend’s husband suggested it to us when we were looking for a place to go; he told us he liked it, but didn’t come often because the service was very slow. This turned out to be true. The cute, charming décor is really the best part of this restaurant. The menu is huge, and most breakfast items are served all day. Maybe I should have gone by the name as a guide and ordered a crêpe, I ordered the Fado Omelette, which came with shrimp, Brie, and chimichurri sauce… I thought it sounded interesting. The breakfast dishes don’t come with potatoes or fruit after a certain time of day… they come with«seasonal veggies,» which turned out to be some cooked shredded carrots. They were good, but why can’t we have potatoes, especially if they’re in other dishes? If McDonalds can do it all day, you can too! Anyway, the omelet turned out to be a huge, thick«egg cake,» topped with 3 overly-seasoned shrimp, a slice of Brie cooked on top and another on the side. I didn’t really find any chimichurri, and it wasn’t very special other than a brick of egg. Note to self, if the place is named after crepes, maybe I shouldn’t order an omelet. As for drinks, most of the breakfast drinks come in individual goblets or carafes. We ordered a few of the cranberry mimosa carafes, which were good but way more juicy than boozy. There weren’t any bubbles when I served from the carafe. We also tried the French Sangria, which came with red wine, sparkling wine, and fruit. It was tasty but very very sweet. I would have hoped for more of a buzz from everything, but it seemed like mostly sugar. Even though we were the only party in the restaurant for most of our brunch, we were rarely checked up on and had to wait a while for service. The private room we were in was pretty nice, as brunch usually involves inappropriate-for-public conversations. I’d come again but order differently on everything, and have a plan B!

Came here for the first time the other day. Walked in with no greeting from anyone. They pass by you but don’t say anything. Finally someone says something. Then this waiter just takes the menus and walks away. Ahhhh are we supposed to follow? Say something? Lol. We ordered a sweet crêpe and a omelette with a coffee. Not once did they refill our coffee until I requested it. The crepes are kinda thin. I know we all have our taste but I’d rather get it a little thicker. The pesto turkey sausage omelette was good but the potatoes were so hard. Not crunchy but hard. It comes with two baguettes but no butter or jam to go with. It’s okay if you are in the area but I wouldn’t drive from home to go there you know? I can settle for Colima burgers or I hop lol

I’ve really grown to like Crepes & Grapes more and more with each passing visit! Located on a corner of Greenleaf and Bailey, I never have trouble finding parking or seating inside. And yes, it’s true– their service is notoriously slow, but I’ve come to think they might be understaffed. The occasion in which I experienced the slowest service, it looked like there was only one sever for the whole restaurant. I love their buckwheat crêpe– spongy, soft, thicker than a traditional crêpe and sturdy enough to stand a variety of fillings. The vegetable curry is my preferred choice, offering fresh vegetables simmered in a delicious sauce, and then hugged with a sizable buckwheat crêpe to deliver it. And of course, the scalloped potatoes au gratin were creamy and perfectly balanced. On one of the more memorable occasions I went with a group to try the wine and cheese tasting platter. We were a group of four and completely obliterated the cheese plate and bottle of wine– and enjoyed every minute of it. Our platter came with a good sampling of hard and soft cheeses, grapes, and candied pecans. My favorites were the manchego and the drunken goat! I also really enjoy the French sangria, which is sweeter than I’m used to(and therefore I’m more inclined to drink it!) But if I’m not feeling so festive, their house coffee is also delicious. I wish I lived closer to Whittier, but whenever I’m in the area, my instinct is to come here. Great coffee, great crepes, great little café on Greenleaf!
