My favorite tacos and burritos in the city! I’m glad I live practically across the street. Nom. Nom. FYI, they only take cash. Downside: the owner is stingy about giving extra green salsa. He won’t give it to you if you ask.

Taco Truck in South Whittier! So we went snowboarding yesterday and got back to my Uncles house in the evening, one of my uncles suggest we go to this taco truck and swears they are really delish. He says they are two bite tacos but cheap so we ordered 20 of them! Lol, he got a variety of 4 types of meats including Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and two other not sure if it was carnitas and chicken. The tacos came with onions and cilantro, some with their red sauce. My goodness the first bite into it was amazing. We all traded different types of tacos and literally inhaled them down after a full day at Big Bear. Next thing you know I have a wild idea of going back with my boyfriend to grab extra for when we get to his place. The tacos come with pickled carrots, onions and jalapeños as well as red salsas. Their salsa was really good too! Upon our second return after literally 15 minutes we ordered another 16 tacos, half Al Pastor and half carne asada. Looking at the tacos they sort of all looked the same so I could not distinguish between them, usually carne is brown and beefy. Aside from the delicious tacos, my mouth watered looking at an order of nacho fries. I wanted them so bad but I told myself next time. I saw another customer eating a tray of nacho fries in front near the pick up window and it looked hot, fresh and gooey with cheese. They also serve mulitas, fish tacos and other plates I’m sure are amazing as well. As far as service it was a little hard to communicate with the cashier woman since she spoke quietly and not near the window. We could not hear anything she said lol. I ordered a large horchata to share with my BF and it came with no ice but was amazingly delicious. You can taste the sweetness and the cinnamon. As we took out tacos from the window I made sure to tell the worker how good their tacos were, I said this is our second order in the same night. We then drop off half the tacos to my uncles because we knew they weren’t full either! If we craved more I knew they must have as well. Overall, my uncle did not disappoint about this place. Just a tip, taco truck is in a bit of a «ghetto-ish» area but don’t be too afraid there are cops around the streets and most scary looking people walking by are harmless. Most just want some delicious food from this truck! Lol have no fear, get these tacos!

This tacos were horrible! Its not even carne asada. The meat look like if it wasn’t asada. My daughter got a taco de chorizo and its was not good at all. She didn’t finish it. Never again will I come here

This is one of the first and best taco trucks around Whittier. The staff are pleasant and the prices are pretty fair. The tacos are delicious. They may not have the best presentation(they’re really sloppy), but they more than make up for it in taste. The salsa is really good, too. Also, best Al Pastor in the area!

I stop by here every time I’m visiting family in Whittier. Their tacos and horchata always hit the spot and their prices are great. They have a nice menu and I normally just stick to tacos, but while I’m eating here I hear people order everything in the menu and no complaints.

Good stuff! I used to see a lot people gathered at this truck so my husband & I decided to try it out. The burritos are good, the quesadillas are good and the tacos of course are great street tacos! The location is a little weird cause you’re driving then all of a sudden… food truck! The neighborhood is a little sketchy but that’s why I always have my husband go. Happy eating!

If you have a chance to eat at this truck, I HIGHLY recommend it. I came here after passing the truck parked on the street. I am so glad I did. I ordered the following. Al Pastor burrito Carne asada taco Carnitas taco. All of the meat was very juicy and delicious. They do the Al Pastor right. It is spinning on a skewer and they shave it off. Whenever I go back I will probably get 9 tacos lol 3 of each of the above meats. And their hot sauce kicks. Definitely a great experience. Delicious greasy taco truck food. Most places forget to add the delicious. This place isn’t one of them. If you see it. Try it. Unless you have dumb taste buds, you won’t be disappointed. Haha

This is the place to get tacos and burritos late at night, and they are pretty good actually too. The workers are always friendly and prices are reasonable for what you get. Every Sunday around 10 pm my dad and I will go there and we’ll barely miss the rush but regardless of crowd or not they are still fast at getting your food to you. The reason I give it 3 stars is cause one night I got real bad food poison, I guess that was my own fault since I knew it was coming from a truck, entire week I felt like I was going to die. Haha the next week I was right back at the truck eating since they are so good

Average tacos, burritos and quesadillas. A go to spot if you don’t feel like going to Albertos or Joes

If you are looking for a place in South Whittier, this is a legit taco truck. They have tacos(of course), burritos, tortas, nachos, and mulitas to name some of their items. Truck staff, is always friendly. My kids rave about the bean and cheese burritos, they are off the menu, but they will make them if you ask. I personally like eating the tacos right at the truck, but for takeout the burritos are great. On those cold nights they also offer a solid champurrado. If you don’t know what that is, look it up on wikipedia. And…If you are enamored with the tacos, you can get them to cater your next wedding!
