Best taco truck in the Whittier area for sure. I’ve had better tacos and burritos at brick and mortar places, but their quesadillas are off the hook. If you need a late night snack, give them a try. Have not ordered anything I didn’t like.

Best tacos in Whittier! Try the al pastor. The quesadillas are delicious too. The price is right.

I don’t eat at food trucks often, but this is probably going to be my new«go to» for tacos! all the meats were so flavorful and there was just enough to get me full and keep me that way. Not too many options so people can’t hold up the line. So if you’re stuck, move aside cause I’m ordering the pastor, asada and pollo! Definitely going to turn into a regular.

Well after seeing this truck posted up near the dmv for a minute now. I decided tonite would be the night I ordered four carne asada tacos and one pastor burrito and Primo got my order wrong got home to three tacos of pastor. Tacos had lots of flavor and very generous with the grilled onions and jalapeños. I will be back but you bet I will double check my order next time.

Who doesn’t like tacos and burritos? Probably no one because the lines have gotten crazy long here. Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but I’m not fond of waiting in lines when I want my tacos. I’ve had the pastor, asada, tripa, lengua, and chorizo here and they are all delicious! If you’ve put away a couple or more tacos and you’ve still got an appetite, get a burrito too! You get your food pretty quick here.

I’m going to be extremely white for a second. I feel it’s only appropriate to present a disclaimer before I do it: the worst thing lately about coming to this taco truck is the guy standing in the DMV parking lot who asks you if you want him to wash your windows for a couple dollars. I’ve even tried to avoid him by parking far down the street in front of the truck, but he caught sight of me and walked from the tree he stands under to ask to wash my windows. With that out of the way, the tacos from this truck are pretty good. At $ 1.25 a taco that’s more expensive than my favorite, but further away, taco truck(«Jose’s» Tacos) and the tacos aren’t quite as good. But this taco truck has really great salsas that essentially balance the equation out. The«avocado salsa» takes the cake. I wish this truck served nachos, but instead it just has asada fries which were somewhat disappointing when I had them: fries, cheese, meat. Not very super. That said, these are the best taco truck tacos in the immediate surrounding 5 mile area. Good tacos, really good salsas, quick and friendly service, big safe brightly lit parking lot, and I guess you can have some guy windex your car windows for $ 2 if you really want. White person pro-tip: «primo» means cousin, which is what the truck is called, and why they call you and everyone else primo. Think of it as «When you’re at Primo’s, you’re family!»

This truck never fails me. Super simple menu & a selection of meats to choose from. All of them really good quality. Everything is affordable too so it’s a great spot if you’ve got late night cravings. The wait isn’t too long either, depending on what night you go! So good overall!

Oh man!!! These are absolutely the best tacos, burritos, and my personal favorite, carne asada quesadillas in Whittier. But stay away please, lines are getting a little bigger now. ;0)

Great food. Stop by after soccer practice and they never disappoint. Food is full of flavor and they hook it up with grilled onions and jalapeño. Their red and green sauce completes the meal.

Came here by the recommendation of my uncle, who said this place was the best in terms of Mexican food. Note: I did NOT order any tacos, which I hear are very good. I ordered the carne asada fries. Our orders didn’t take very long. The fries had some good meat on them, but as a whole were really bland to eat. All they put was cheese and meat on the plate of fries, nothing else. While it was good, it was pretty bland like I said. I added salsa to it which helped but I felt as if they just could have done more with that. Or I should have just ordered something else. The plate is large and the meat is plentiful but they just weren’t all that great. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend this place since I hear that they do have excellent tacos and burritos, I would just recommend you avoid the carne asada fries unless you want to keep it simple and plain.

Best mexican spot in time for sure. The meat is too quality, no chunks of fat mixed into my asada fries which are to die for. My kids love the friendliness and the fun of sitting in the car or the back of their dad’s truck to have dinner…

When it comes to tacos, this spot is the pride of Whittier. And that includes sit down restaurants. All meats are good but my favs are pastor and cabeza. Not to mention the grilled onions. Solid spot and open every evening!

Super bomb taco truck right outside the dmv. Their meats are all on point! My favorites are the asada, al pastor, lengua and chorizo! However you choose(taco, burrito, quesadilla or even on fries) it’s amazing! The red and green salsas are outstanding too. Not too spicy with tons of flavor! Love the grilled onions and jalapeño on the side! They also serve horchata and piña. Definitely my favorite local taco truck! The guys are always so nice and always address you as «Primo or Prima». I like how their food doesn’t come with salsa on it so I can control the perfect amount myself. Cash only, so stop at the atm first! Definitely worth trying!

This place is the bomb! I have tried their carne asada and al pastor tacos. Their green salsa is my favorite and it adds a nice kick to the taco. Ask for caramelized onions on the the side. I have been here multiple times and have had no issues with my orders.

This truck started parking by the DMV a while back and i noticed it but never gave it much thought. Then one evening I was thinking about what to get for dinner and saw all the great reviews, knew it was literally just down the street from me so I figured lets give it a try. Now the best street tacos I have found in the area are Cilantros Tacos across from the Blue Hills nursery. I was excited to try the tacos here just from all the 5 star reviews. Unfortunantly I cant give it 5 stars. Yes, the tacos are good but I’ve had better. I found the meat in all my tacos(lengua, tripe and cabeza) to be a little too greasy. Taste wise it was fine. On the plus side the tacos are only $ 1.25 ea. Cant beat that. I dunno. ok tacos, close to the house. I’d consider going back. by the way lots of folks here on a saturday night getting they eat on.

I am always a little iffy about eating at food trucks, but recently my husband decided to stop by for a burrito and I had to try as well. He loved his burrito and I loved my tacos. By far, probably the best tacos in the area! The meat is delicious, not dry, and very flavorful. I love that the give all the side stuff for the tacos too — grilled onions, peppers, etc. The staff is friendly and they’re usually at the same spot until pretty late. definitely a good spot to try. The al pastor tacos are DELICIOUS!!!

We just ate here and want more. We always opt for the crane asada tacos($ 1/each). It’s always tempting to stop on my way home and pick up some for the family. Side note: The man taking your order will call you ‘primo.’
