We’ve been going to B&C for the past 5 – 10 years. Fairly certain I have written reviews on the ill-fated UrbanSpoon app before it turned into Zomato(I think I am still MsDrPepper there), as well as on Trip Advisor. We just went last week to celebrate graduation and noticed that some of the walls have been torn down as if they are going to remodel? Or just wanted to accommodate larger crowds and groups. Look forward to going back and seeing other improvements. The crystal chandelier is still there, in stately grace under the divey arched roof of the former garage, shining down over the buffet. All you can eat includes a drink and does not include take home. But, carryout is available and can cost a little less than the full buffet, with the two sides included, drink included, and they only weigh the meats and foods you place in the main clamshell takeaway box(sides go in their own round one cup containers with kids.). I tend to get chicken or beef, so I can’t tell you anything about the hot links and pulled pork. You’ll just have to go there and check those details out for yourself. The main thing to remember is the plain bottles of sauces are already loaded and ready to go on the table. Let not the unadorned bottles throw you. This is the genuine Selmon Brothers BbQ sauce. The white bottle is «mild» and the red bottles are«hot». Now my «mild» might be your«hot», and my «hot» may be your«Spawn of the Devil Hades» super hot. I can’t tell you for sure… that’s the beauty of the time-space-heat continuum. You have been warned!

It’s a great place for delicious barbecue, clean, fair price, very simple and old school décor. Loved their signs urging customers not to waste food. Will go again if I need a break from counting calories

What’s not to like? Answer: absolutely nothing! This is real-deal BBQ served by real-deal pit masters to real-deal patrons in a real-deal hangar-like area where you ever expanding belly can hang out while you hang out with your equally happy carnivore friends. 5 of us went there lunch and what we paid for the buffet bliss we were about to enjoy was a pittance of what it was worth. The queue starts with your choice of breads(of course, as a good Texan I chose Wonderbread white) out of a big bucket, followed by a nice looking salad bar that I had assumed was there for decoration purposes only(although I did pull some jalapeño and pickle slices from the array of fresh salads and veggies. For sides, I bypassed the yellow mustard –based potato salad but a scoop each of coleslaw and spicy beans sidled up next to my bread pile. Now, on to the main event! Ribs, pork loin, turkey, chicken and chopped brisket were all available but I zeroed in on a hot link before piling every spare surface area of my plate with the pulled pork. The only regret I had was that I couldn’t squeeze another spoonful somewhere. The hotlink and beans both had very nice spice. The coleslaw was serviceable. But the pulled pork! My, oh my! That was easily the best pulled pork I can remember ever having(which is disappointing in one way, as I had just spent 4 hours of my life that I’ll never get back smoking a pork butt 3 weeks before tasting this heaven. Thank you B & C Barbeque for your friendly staff. Thank you for your cool, dive ambiance. But most of all, thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing pulled pork greatness!

The BESTBBQ in Wichita and easily TOP5 in Kansas. The hot links are just the tip of the iceberg and the spicy beans are crazy good! If you like chicken, turkey, pulled pork, ribs and great sauces then this the place which everyone else needs to measure themselves against! This place started small in the back of a building and has grown without changing where they came from or what got them to the top! Thank you for the great flavors over the years!

If you want real Kansas BBQ, this place won’t disappoint. Yes, it is buffet — styrofoam plate style that reminds you of a good friend’s cookout — 0% pretense. The restaurant seems is located in a renovated warehouse which is fine because I came here to eat — not to be seen. It has been packed both times that I visited but that did not degrade the quality of the food. Ribs are this ISH… I sampled the other meats and both types of beans — spicy & regular but I couldn’t stop getting at those ribs. Brisket was tasty as well as the chicken(although the chicken required sauce). I will be returning soon.

This is my favorite place to get bbq locally. The fact that this place is buffet style doesn’t bother me a bit, and it should bother you! The lines in this place move fast the food is fresh and really the best tasting ribs anywhere! The hotlinks are surperb as well. The beef loin and pork loin is yummy. This place packs out almost daily, so get here get in line and get your bbq on! The selection is amazing and delicious. This is not chain bbq nor is it your typical restaurant setting, it is a converted mechanic shop or something. The food makes up for everything, just try it you will like it! –Brent

I visited this place on 10/16/2015 around 12:00pm, I came to lunch with a few coworkers, parking was an issue around lunch time, the parking lot was full(a good sign), once I entered the restaurant, there was a huge line. It took about 15 minutes of waiting in the line for my turn to get food from the buffet table. The buffet included a full salad bar, chicken, smoked sausage, ribs and some other cuts of beef, some different types of beans, coleslaw and potato salad. The quality of the BBQ meats wasn’t bad, the potato salad was good. I’ve only been exposed to 1 other BBQ restaurant in Wichita Hog Wild, and this place was definitely better then that place. If I’m craving BBQ, and in the area, this would be my go-to BBQ restaurant. I paid about $ 14 for a all you can eat buffet. Sidenote: I wish they served some type of sweet dish like Cobbler for dessert, they only serve chocolate pudding for dessert.

Boiled ribs are a real deal-breaker. Bland food. I don’t get it.

This place represents one of the great mysteries of dining in Wichita. Reading the reviews, you’d think this was on par with some of Kansas City’s top joints or Dallas or Austin. Trust me folks. It’s not. I suppose if you only know Wichita BBQ you might be led to believe this is great, but this place is so far below what you’d get at any other major BBQ city it’s nothing short of embarrassing. I can’t point to one major issue. The food is just overall bland. It *looks* good, but that’s about it. Very un-flavorful. One thing *I* don’t like is the layout. It’s crowded, hot, and buffet style bothers me. They try to be kitschy and eclectic with this weird mix of tables and chairs, but it just comes across as junky and garage sale. Prices are average, but there are much much better options in town. This place somehow survives with the snowball effect. Enough people are tricked into thinking it’s good, write a few 5 star Unilocal reviews, and business goes on. I don’t wish bad luck on anybody, but if you are expecting good southern BBQ, move on.

This place as the BEST spicy baked beans. The rest of the buffet options are good, too, but the beans really stand out for me. When it comes to any barbecued meats, I’m a sauce person. So as long as I can slather it with some good spicy & bold type of sauce– I’m happy with it. This place gets busy so it might be hard to find a parking space and a table to sit at.

When I was told I was going to a BBQ buffet, in Wichita no less, I was less than thrilled. I anticipated rubbery meat and bland food. I could not have been more wrong! Large selection of fresh and hot meats. The ribs were phenomenal. I don’t normally get stoked for baked beans, but theirs are worth mentioning. Staff was friendly. The building looks like it was probably an old garage and has a lot of character. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. There’s a possibility you will share a long table with strangers, but you’ll be so busy enjoying your food that you won’t even notice. I will definitely be back!

We absolutely love B&C. The meat is really delicious, sauces are a great compliment. Be sure to get there early because once the lunch crowd hits, the buffet line gets long. Friendly staff to boot.

You know, it was a fun birthday lunch. However, let’s start off with how HOT it was inside. Naturally since it looks like a warehouse… Place was packed at even 1pm near closing. In not even sure what the heck I even had except the Ribs that were way incredibly over cooked and dry, chicken breast that was ok. Nothing special, and not sure if it was pulled pork or beef, thought it was brisket but I didn’t see any left… All was decent. I didn’t try any of the sides… Was opting to avoid a stomach ache from greasy food… Didn’t dare grab toast from that bag. Maybe I’ll give it another try?

Quite good, I was surprised and impressed. The meat flavor was great, the spicy sauce was just the right balance of heat and sweetness. My only complaint was the meat tended on the dry side.

Great BBQ and experience. Highly recommend getting there early as they only cook a certain amount for the day. It’s all good and a total hole in the wall.

Just finished lunch here today. Very impressive! Surprisingly, the barbecue is all served buffet style. It’s all fresh and moist. They have two sauces on the table, both are excellent. I can’t wait to return!

Not your normal place. You will drive by it unless somebody shows you. No markings on outside. Word of mouth following. Old car garage setting complete with cracked and broken windows. Good food and change of pace for sure. All you can eat also.

It’s good BBQ for a buffet. If you’re absolutely craving BBQ on a particular day, then this is the place to go. All the meat was heavily smoked… which I liked. The ribs were cooked well and had a nice rub on them. I really didn’t need sauce for the ribs. But there was only one type of BBQ sauce. And it was more on the vinegary side. The sliced turkey, brisket, pork loin, etc. tasted like you would expect. Nothing amazing. But they provided a nice variety. I could’ve easily made a rather delicious sandwich with the bread slices at the end of the counter and fixings from the salad bar. The hot links and the grilled chicken were near the top of the offerings at B&C. Now the spicy baked beans were near-amazing. The cole slaw and potato salad… not so much. Overall it’s good meat. They should offer a few more«flavors» of BBQ sauce to complement the various meats they offer.

It’s a mixed bag here folks. Good: hot links and chicken are the highlights here. Outstanding BBQ beans, the spicy kind. The ambience is awesome. A hole in the wall place. Service is buffet so it’s pretty quick. The not so good: the ribs are a bit over smoked/cooked, the pork and brisket are a bit bland. Not bad but not great or distinct. It’s a decent place, not bad but not everything on the menu is equal. Definitely worth a visit.

B&C, those three syllables make my mouth salivate as they hit my ears. The amazing selection of BBQ food all as a buffet is an incredible way to spoil the customer! I wasn’t a huge fan of barbecue food until I was introduced to this wondrous place full of fulfilled dreams and pleased stomachs. Best BBQ in Wichita!
