Coin Laundry

I’ve been to this Laundromat many, many times! When we first moved back to Wichita, KS – I didn’t have a washer and dryer. So I went here weekly for about 6 months. I still go when I need to wash my bedspreads. The building is older, but in pretty good shape. There are several different sized washers and a ton of the standard sized machines. They have a bill changer and you can get change for 1’s, 5’s, 10’s or 20’s. They provide you with plastic cups to hold your quarters! If you forget detergent, fabric softener, bleach or hangers — they sell them. The people are super nice and I consistently saw the same 2 people working there. They have vending machines with snacks and sodas. They have a television to watch while you are waiting on your laundry. And they have a nice variety of magazines to read. There is a Barber Shop next door, if you need a haircut and a Library across the street. They have adequate seating and even have an Arcade machine. The only negatives are that several of their dryers have ‘Out of Order’ signs and if you need to use their Rest Room — you have to ask for the key and the sink faucet is broken. But there is hand sanitizer to use. I went to several Laundromats before finding this well run and reasonably priced one!
