This place has my favorite tortilla chips– Air light and crispy and the salsa is chunky and seasoned just right! Not watered down or too salty. You can usually find a coupon too for a free espinaca dip by simply signing up for the Jose Peppers email monthly newsletter(hey, I’ll take it!) Lastly, our server Debi was exceptional. Super friendly and professional. She made our visit so pleasant. They have happy hour I believe from 2 – 7. We got 2 margaritas for $ 7.

Love Jose Pepper’s their chips and salsa very good, my family loves their espinaca. There is times that we will just order espinaca and salsa to carry out. Last time I went I ate the Baja Burrito it was not my favorite bacon on a Burrito was not good. But the margaritas made up for it. There has not been much else on the menu that I have not found very tasty.

Jose Peppers has by far the best chips and salsa. The chips are light and crispy, and the salsa is chunky with good flavor. We eat here once or twice a month. I am a diner who tends to find what I like and stick with it. For me it is the avocado chicken enchiladas and a margarita(or two if hubby is driving) The beer is always cold. We have never had a bad experience with the staff. If I want easy, predictable(not always a bad thing), decent tasting, comforting, chain Mexican restaurant food, JP is my choice.

I’ve worked here for about 6 months as a host and I’ve personally seen a huge improvement w/the new management and menu items. The servers are all super nice and we rarely get over a 25 minute wait. The food is amazing too. My favorites are the Tamales & Baja Burrito. The burrito comes with a whole slice of bacon on top and inside, who doesn’t love that?! If you’re not feeling Mexican food I love the new chicken club sandwich & the cheeseburger is so good! I also suggest getting the fries bc they are great. but who could forget the Espinaca. Absolutely flawless. Overall love this place. I come here to eat whenever I’m not working!

This is one of my family’s staples. I like that there is rarely a long wait for seating. The salsas is chunky and robust with fresh diced cilantro, and green onions. The Espinaca dip is always a favorite. My usual order is the taco platter with fried flour shells and ground beef.

My most favorite place to eat. Love the espinaca dip with chips! The Corona Shrimp tacos are awesome & the Charro beans are excellent. The new manager is doing a great job! It seems the servers work better together now & want to please the customer. We will be back!

Came in for lunch. Lunch portions pretty big. Service extremely slow. After waiting 20 minutes for the check, we had to corner the server to make her let us pay them so we could go back to work.

Was there Friday night 9÷4÷2015 after the Movies. Was seated immediately. Wait staff was outstanding. Was a mother/daughter team. Lots of laughs with them. There was 4 of us and we all ordered different things. All came out in a short time and was hot! Food was great, drinks were great. In all was a great experience and will be back next time we are at the Warren West. BTW do try Jose Peppers East when an the Warren East. Have never had a bad experience at either.

It’s a very average place. Service was ok I guess… most other places are about the same; lots are better. Prices are basically the same as any other place like this. Food was SLIGHTLY above average because they use too much cilantro and I love too much cilantro. The food came fast-ish, but that’s really about the only thing that stood out. They have way, way too many employees. The employees were by far the loudest part of the environment. Completely ridiculous. My sister and I ordered the same thing: tacos. The plates were extremely hot when they came to the table. They were so hot that they burned my sister’s hand when she touched it for only a split second. I couldn’t even see her hand make contact with the plate before it burned her. She had to soak her hand in ice water after. That alone guaranteed that I will never be back. There’s no reason for plates to be so hot when they come to the table. Oh also, they put cheese on only one of my tacos, so if you order them be prepared to do part of the cooks job. I understand that many people like this place, so I may have just had an unlucky experience.

Good food, good drink prices and great service who could ask for more? Also if you come here get the espinaca dip, it’s cheap with your entrée and you won’t regret it.

This was my first visit and it definitely won’t be my last. The value for the money is very very good. I was there with a party of six and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The chips and sals, which is especially important to me and my wife, were very good. Gotta love thin chips! At any rate, if you are in the Wichita area and have a hankerin’ for Mexican, give this place a try.

The food was good but our service was AWFUL. We sat at the bar, and probably had 4 different girls as our«waitress.» Out of the 4 of them, NONE of them could provide us service! Didn’t refill our drinks, had to ask repeatedly for refills, and silverware, AND had to ask the front desk for a menu! It also took FOREVER to get our bill. There are other places with WAYY better service that will be getting my business in the future!

This place does not seem to be able to keep consistent management. It is hit or miss on wether you will get good service or food. This visit our food was cold and the waiter got the order wrong as well. The waiter stated he would get the meals comped by management. This did not happen. The make up order that they offered instead took over 20 minutes and we waited on it to leave. We won’t be back.

Love the chips with salsa, good service, like the parmesan crusted shrimp quesadilla. Sometimes their salsas are spicy and way salted.

First of all, they changed their ‘Tacos Al Carbon’ to a cheaper grade of meat AND increased the price! Then we received an advertisement in the mail — Stating that Mondays and Tuesdays MARGARITAS are $ 1.99. The server would not honor the ad, saying that they had changed their ‘Happy Hour’ and couldn’t honor the ad. We weren’t the only ones disgruntled — a bus of Senior Citizens were there for the special as well. I decided to contact their Corporate Offices and complain. I feel it’s wrong to advertise something and then not honor the ad. And I felt bad for the Seniors, as well. I watched several people change their minds, when they couldn’t get the Margarita for $ 1.99. One of the Managers(Steve) contacted me the following day, making problems to send us certificates. But then he didn’t follow through. I had explained that my husband and I ate lunch there every other Monday — due to the convenience and the Margarita Specials. But apparently our business wasn’t important enough to him to follow through. We chose to eat at one of their competitors on the next outing.

In any town in the Southwest this place would be a two star at best, but in Wichita, which is not the Mexi Mecca of food, you take what you can get. The advertised«New Mexico Red» chili was a red chili sauce that probably has New Mexico red chili powder in it, but real«New Mexico Red Chili» is red chili with a little onion garlic and water(much stronger taste). This overly salty beef-broth with chili, tomato sauce and thickeners was not all that impressive on the tamales, which were not awful but left a lot to be desired. The guacamole and queso were good. Salsa was fresh but bland. The«filet mignon» tacos were likewise best for those who have had enough brain damage that their taste buds don’t operate well, to miss the blandness of it all. Bar: Lightweight with most of the traffic in beer and sugary concoctions with cheap tequila. They bring out the only top shelf tequila shots chilled, which kills the taste(Newsflash, you only do that to rot-gut liquor to take the rasp/sting out of it). It’s an impression of a Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately the impressionist seems to be Señor Wences(S’allright? Not all-right).
