Logan’s Roadhouse

The food for me has been consistently good. The fries are well seasoned and the Roadhouse burger is delicious. I like the Anything and Everything salad, the steaks and sides are decent. The rolls are pillowy buttery carby goodness. In the evening there were plenty of servers but the kitchen and bar were slow. It was over an hour before we got our entrees. The coffee was terrible but they made a fresh pot. The wine was not what was ordered and the replacement was slow to come out. The salad was missing the hard boiled egg because they had run out. The steak was overdone, but they re-​did it no questions asked. We were in a good mood and the server was pleasant and accommodating, but the kitchen and bar got a lot wrong all in one visit.

Tried again here’s what happens, wife got wrong food, lobster instead of shrimp not bad trade off until waitress grabbed it away, baked potato was a burnt potato, see posted pic, my potato soup was room temp with dried skim on top, new it was bad when we sat down because are peanut bucket was all just already eaten shells even daughters country fried chicken was cold, never again, they get one star cause they let us go for free even though we ate the salad which amazingly they didnt screw up, in my opinion as reading other posts, that was last chance, it has not and never will improve, should be another building for rent soon for a reputable restaurant

Arrived for an early dinner and was promptly greeted and seated. Waitress stopped by after a few minutes and was big on pushing happy hour, but we only wanted water. We were given more than enough time to decide what our choices would be, in fact, maybe a bit too much time. Waitress arrived with our water and hot rolls, and then took our order.
First to served was the salad, nothing fancy, but the greens appeared to be fresh. Before we could finish our salads, our entrees arrived.
I had a country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of corn. The chicken fried steak appeared to be huge, but was very lacking in gravy, which I do not understand, because gravy is cheap to make. It tasted mostly okay, but to my surprise, the breading was twice as thick as the tiny little steak hiding inside. About half as much breading would have been a good thing.
My partner had a 6 oz sirloin with a side of mushrooms. The steak was cooked to her liking, but she said it had been salted just a bit too much for her tastes. Her side of sauteed mushrooms went untouched as the were just too salty for either of our tastes.
From the time we placed our order until the time our table was cleared, about 35 minutes elapsed. Not too bad of a deal, it started out a bit slow, but the rolls were hot and the food came out quick. The twist on the whole deal? It took us over ten minutes to get the check and pay for our meal. I don’t know if our waitress got swamped or what, but I know I have very little tolerance for establishments that make me wait to leave.
In summary, the food was just okay, nothing special. Service was pretty quick, until it was time to pay, then time stopped. Maybe serve bigger chicken fried steaks so the extreme amount of breading won’t be needed to hide the actual small size of the portion. Maybe… cut back on the amount of salt used when cooking, and let the patron salt it to suit their own needs and tastes.

Always great service everyone is always very friendly! Never had a bad meal here! Chicken teriyaki is awesome!

Had a bad experience at Logan’s today. I ordered a side salad with my meal. When I took a bite of my cucumber it’s became louder and increasingly gritty as I chewed. It felt like I was chewing glass. I spit it out and found pieces of ceramic in the food. The waiter told me when they looked at my plate they realized the plate had broken pieces from another plate. After the lack of an apology and having to ask for one a pathetic $ 2.50 discount was given. You would’ve thought that the manager would’ve come out and talked to me or at least apologized for the fact that there was shards of ceramic in my food. Will never eat there again!!!

Loud eating environment, felt like i was at a bar. Food less than adequate for money. Won’t be back

Went to dinner tonight at Logan’s West. OMG… I rarely complain about my dinner but tonight was horrible. I would say it was an off night but the last time I was there it wasn’t very good either. My first prime rib came covered in gravy. I was very nice and asked if they could replace it with a prime rib and Augus. They brought me another one with gravy on the side, two baked potatoes and no Augus. I couldn’t cut the prime rib with the knife so thinking it was a dull knife, I bit off a piece of prime rib and couldn’t chew it either. The waitress takes the plate and never asks me if I wanted anything else and a few minutes later the manager comes. By this time, my dinner company had finished eating so I told her I didn’t want anything. She acted put out like I was trying to get something for free when in fact I hadn’t ate anything but a few mushrooms from an appetizer I ordered. HORRIBLE service and the food was not great either. I will not ever go back!

Classically I had steak. I was not impressed. I wished I had stuck with my instinct and went to Texas Road House.

Ribs are fall off the bone FANTASTIC! Love the steak & rib combo and you can get a really nice salad with it. They run specials all the time — which I like. My daughter took me here for my last 2 B’days! They have an impressive list of side dishes, as well! Steamed veggies, baked potatoes, etc. They have a full bar and refills on sodas. Good parking, as well!

My friend and I went to Logan’s for the first time this evening. Our server, Alvine, was phenomenal (no, we don’t know him). He was incredibly kind and knowledgable, had a smile on the whole time, made sure our glasses were always full, and made our experience wonderful. Great customer service is hard to come by and Alvine absolutely made our visit. We’ll both be returning and requesting Alvine as our server again. I do hope he gets the acknowledgment he deserves for his work. Loved the biscuits, the brown gravy was yummy!

This place is no steakhouse that’s for sure! The first I went it is was pretty bad. Steak overcooked and wrong sides. but I thought I’ll give it another try why not. Well that time it wasn’t so bad. So I went in again and it was horrible again. Long story short they aren’t consistent! I won’t go back that’s for sure!

Peanuts, Peanuts, and Peanuts. They are every where. Logan’s shtick is eating fresh peanuts and not worrying about making a mess. Once you walk in, you’ll notice a huge barrel of peanuts and seating for patrons waiting for their table. This was on Labor day, which the place was packed to the rim of older adults dining in.
The place is very huge with tall ceilings with random assorted décor mounted on the walls. It’s got a Texas theme going for it.
Typically you can get a Hamburger anywhere. Well my friends decided that this was the option due to their fairly high priced menu items (15 – 25 dollars).
The waitress was very quick and prompt with our drinks and refills. They get an A+ in that area.
The food took a long time to get to our table. I would say a good 25 – 30 minutes before we finally got our food. The timing with the hot rolls was not good. We got our hot rolls and 4 minutes later our food arrives. Pointless to serve them that close to each other.
The food was plated well and I ordered mine with Sweet Potato fries for an extra .99 cents. They were seasoned with cinnamon and sugar. Complemented each other very well. Not quite as fresh as Dolce and Joe’s. But good.
The Hamburger was well. a huge disappointment. It was dry because it was overcooked, and also it was already broken in two pieces. So when I lifted up my burger, the other half fell off the bun. It wasn’t even seasoned. I would say it came out of a freezer, because real beef chuck has a different consistency than what was offered to me.
I thought… well for $ 8, and the fact they mainly serve steaks, that the meat would be good quality and cooked well. A good hamburger is a bit fatty and juicy. This did not follow the basic rules of a good hamburger.
Next time I’ll order a steak and see how that goes. Otherwise, AVOID their hamburgers. You can get a far better quality product down the street from Five Guys.

When you eat at Logans, you will think of Texas Roadhouses evil step sister. I have been twice and will not be back. The service is terrible. The 1^st time we visited, the waiter forgot to ring in our order and after we got our meal, the steak was over cooked. The manager did hand us a free appetizer on our next visit, instead of comping something off our ticket. So we gave it a second chance a few months later, it was still bad. This time it took the server 15 minutes to greet us and they messed our order up.

Service was terrible and the food was even worse. Over an hour wait to get the food on a Sunday when they weren’t even very busy. Burnt burger and the chicken was dry and nasty. It was like they served leftovers. When I asked for a manager they said he was busy and finally a women stopped but and said they were understaffed. I don’t think that was the problem.

This place is great for the family. If I want something cheap but fatty, I will go here. I love the 2 entrée special for 13.99 (i dont know how long the special will last) You get two entrees with two sides each for 13.99. It’s a great deal. Everything else is very inexpensive. I love the biscuits that are constantly being refilled, but I always have to ask for no butter. Many of the items come with a splattering of butter, so you have to ask your waiter to leave it out (if you want). The service is great, and I love coming here. The peanuts are awesome too. I ordered a 8 oz sirloin-9.99 –good price very good steak. Sides — sweet potato and sauteed mushrooms. Both very good, The only thing I did not care for was the rolls. I prefer Texas Roadhouse rolls much better. My DH got Caesar salad instead of the mushrooms it tasted good but uninspiring. We shared the salad and the mushrooms. We had excellent service.
