The Cleaning Authority

Save your money. They give a good sales pitch, from the website and promotional literature they seem to have a «system» that works. I have had housecleaners for most of the past 25 years at various locations — both services and individuals. This is by far my worst experience. The house was «surface cleaned» with lots of misses including vanities that were still dusty and gritty, nothing moved from surfaces to vacuum, mop or dust. I think the only product used was warm water and maybe a bit of vinegar. The worst is lack of communication — management makes excuses, not plans to correct — and scheduling. Crews show up 1.5 hours after window of committed time without the courtesy of receiving a phone call or heads up.

It’s difficult to find good residential cleaning services. That said, we hired the Cleaning Authority with the understanding the first two «deep cleans» would cost us more than the weekly service fees.
The first clean was a shallow clean, at best. For the next appointment, one of the two maids showed, followed by the second about 45 min later. They were at our home another 45 min with the same result as the first time. I complained without result.
A waste of time for the estimate (sales pitch) and a complete waste of time and money for the cleaning.
