What’s Brewin’

Am very glad there was a business in Wichita for brewing supplies. Very nice people and helpful. What a selection of supplies and book on getting started. Will return to buy from again.

I moved to Wichita a year ago and was really glad they had a home brew store in town. Over this last year the Mother/​Daughter team that run this store have been constantly helping with all of my brewing requests and mini-​missions. I have ordered several things through them and get what I ordered and in a timely manner. They understand that it’s tough to compete with all of those huge internet companies and therefor they don’t always have everything you could ever want in stock. However, that being said they do have all of the ingredients, viable liquid yeast strands, bottles and other «dang I can’t find my what’s it» items. They have a nice location close to downtown and always had time to chat with me about what I am brewing and building. It’s a nice little place and I recommend running in and visiting them before going online to purchase anything. Buy local and help out small businesses when you can. My buddy and I got this crazy idea to start brewing our own beer. So after doing the research we discovered that What’s Brewin is the only place in Wichita to get your supplies. Somewhat apprehensive about the process, but still very excited as well, we proceeded to visit.
The staff is very helpful. Our salesperson walked us through the process of what we would need and answered our questions efficiently. So we bought our kit, the bottles, and started brewing. The first batch is actually done bottle fermenting today, and so we shall see how it goes!

This is a great place for all of your beer and wine supplies! We like to make our own beer. it’s SO much better! They are extremely helpful if you have any questions.

This is the only homebrew supply place in the Wichita area and we’re lucky to have it. They have everything you need to get started and are very helpful and friendly. The only thing you have to watch out for is that their pre-​made brewing kits are in imperial gallons, which is a tad more than an American gallon.
