Great food. However, two problems that really do keep it away from being even better than great. One, is that the wait can take an awful long time. Most of this has to do with the fact that they don’t really seem to have many people actually working in the place, which means that they’ll too often take on more customers than they can handle. Secondly, the prices are pretty big, especially for a place in Wildwood. What I mean by this is that there are so many, cheap and relatively good places like Alumni, that won’t take so long, nor do much damage to your wallet. That said, the burgers are fun, original and most of all, good. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better burger in Wildwood, however, be ready to know that it’s going to cost you an awful lot.

Got $ 52 worth of grub delivered today and everything was perfect! But after trying them quite a few times I just noticed their 2% «tourism tax» which I am just NOT a fan of at all. Even though it’s only an extra $ 1 on our order, really??? A tourism tax lol

A great little spot with a lot of variety. Many options for creative sides, burgers, and sandwiches. Reasonable prices and a decent sized dining area. I had the«H4T» burger the first time and it had a good kick to it. Came back a second time to give some other options a try.

If you are looking for great gluten-free choices, this place is legit. Both our girls ordered burgers with bacon, fixings and gluten-free buns. The hamburger did not disappoint. It looked and tasted like the other burgers served there. We were thrilled. We ate there twice this week while on vacation! We’ll be back next year.

Awesome environment, very clean place, and creative menu. The food was pretty good. We had the Jerkyll and Hyde cheesesteak, regular cheesesteak, and Parmesan wedges. The wait staff was American and very nice, which is rare in Wildwood anymore. I would definitely go back.

I have been coming to the Alumni Grill since it first opened 10 years ago and there is not enough I can say about how amazing the food is here. From the Beach Burger to the infamous Jekyl & Hyde Cheesesteak, you can’t go wrong with any of the food they serve here. Not only do they have sandwiches, burgers, and salads, the milkshakes and floats are to die for. The staff is super friendly and work extra hard to make sure you’re getting the best food possible. If you haven’t been to the Alumni Grill, you definitely need to make a stop here on your next trip to the Jersey Shore.

Off to a rough start. Gets one star for a cordial wait staff, but our lunch took an hour from the time we ordered before our meals started to arrive at our table. They arrived one by one, five minutes apart and all with mistakes. Chicken was the toughest I’ve ever had. Though it would be nice to see the place succeed, if today’s experience proves to be the norm, it will take a miracle.

I must go here every time I’m in Wildwood. Unique sandwiches and sides that you can not get anywhere else in Wildwood, Philadelphia, or in the world for that matter!!! I always have such a hard time ordering because everything is amazing. Being as I’ve been coming here since 2005, sometimes I request off menu items. If they aren’t too busy they begrudgingly oblige haha.

If you’re tired of greasy boardwalk food, give Alumni Grill a try! Featuring various sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and salads, it’s a welcome change. The black bean burger was a nice vegetarian option but beware the jalapeño! I can handle heat but it overpowered the rest of the flavor. Perhaps roasting the pepper could have brought out more nuanced flavors. The crab cake burger was good too but I prefer my sauce less sweet. I would definitely come back here on my next visit!

My daughter chose this restraint based on the book in the hotel room. I checked Unilocal and noticed only a few reviews but agreed to go(make my daughter happy) This is just a ordinary sub shop with a theme. Our sandwiches were good but nothing to write home about. I asked for a substitution to their Jeckel and Hyde and they said no, I asked for a different sauce on it and they only agreed if they omitted the cheese, I did not understand why other than some part of it must be pre-made. We all had shakes that were good. A decent lunch option off the boardwalk.

We picked this place for our first lunch and last lumch on our annual shore trip. We needed to satisfy a vegetarian and a 2.5 year old as part of our group. Alumni Grill was a block or so from our hotel, and based on the menu, was a logical choice. The place is clean, there is adequate seating, and the employees seem friendly. They have options for vegetarians(not so much vegan)’ gluten-free folk, and kids. They have some salads and lower carb options — relatively healthy for Wildwood. They cook everything fresh, so food takes a little longer than you might expect, but not excessively so. Over the course of the two meals, we tried hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, and fries. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. On one of the sandwiches, the bacon was a but fatty and undercooked, but that was the only flaw in the two experiences. The food is by no means outstanding, but for Wildwood, definitely above average.

We knew what we were in for, but with three teens. Well we opted for this place since there were few groups of teens hanging there… Food was ok, although not for the health conscience… Or dieters… or if you’re in a rush,. There was a hair wrapped in my mashed potato ball, that was upsetting I told them they apologized and brought us a new ball. There was a food challenge going on(that was kool) the guys almost nailed it but the ice cream float was too thick and they couldn’t finish it… We tried the hot dogs wrapped in bacon skip that really didn’t even taste bacon, the corn fritters were good but warning they are pretty spicy. My daughters crab cake was good. Sweet potato wedge were just that. The mashed potato balls(see above. Eewwww) fried pickles were meh… Hamburger was ok and like my brother said the special root beer tasted well like root beer… I don’t think I’ll be going back too many other options around this area, but my son wants to do the challenge

Read good reviews of this joint while enjoying a trip to Wildwood and decided to check out the popular items. The dodgeballs were a great appetizer. Fried garlic mashed potatoes! Comes with five large fried balls of mashed potatoes for three dollars. The side of honey jalapeño sauce is delish and is for sale at the register to bring home! I also ordered the Jekyll and Hyde cheesesteak. Half beef, half chicken cheesesteak. I was quite disappointed by this, after reading the hype on reviews. The meats were fatty and chewy, they reminded me of Steakums chopped up. The sauce was good, but did not outweigh the bland taste/texture of the meats. Nothing spectacular about this steak, and for eight dollars with no fries included, it is definitely not worth the price. I will stick with cheesesteaks from Philly.

Delicious. Everyone loved their food – all 9 of us – and some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve had. Better than Red Robin that’s for sure! Price point is average of $ 7-$ 8.

Came here on a saturday for lunch with my girlfriend and had a great time. It wasn’t packed at all. The inside looked very clean, staff was super friendly and let us take our time to look at the menu. Prices were reasonable too. For lunch, we got: 1) Wedge fries with bacon/cheese — more than we expected in quantity so we ended up taking half of it home 2) Panini with roast beef and horseradish — very flavorful and plenty of meat 3) Panini with crab meat and garlic and spinach — light flavor and delicious

I cant wait to go back next year! You know a place will be good when you want one of everything on the menu. I had the Jekyll and Hyde Cheese Steak, WOW! The sauce that was on the cheesesteak was so good. We had a large party and everyone was more then satisfied with what they got. This place is great!
