Showed up at 5pm on a Thursday. Asked for a table for 6 and the hostess mumbled something incoherently to the effect of «there’s no seating for 6 outside» she left us standing there and seated a table of 8 without paying us any mind. There were less than 6 people seated outside when we showed up. Walked over to the Boathouse and was seated immediately. Thanks but no thanks.

Fantastic service from our waiter, Kyle, and an unlimited supply of crabs(blue crabs & snow crabs) for the three of us. Even the corn-on-the-cob was fresh and tasty, although none of us wanted to waste our appetite on it at first. We had a wonderful dinner that was worth every penny spent.

My mom and I made it to the shore on a rare early Friday afternoon, so we decided that called for us to take advantage of an early bird special somewhere(yes, I’m 25 going on 85…). I googled options on the way down, and we settled on Urie’s because the menu was large and they promised waterfront views. We were told there was a wait to sit out on the deck, so we settled for prompt dining inside. It didn’t matter anyway, as we still had a good view through the huge windows, although it was confusing because the deck looked anything but full. The early bird consists of salad, rolls, an entrée and two sides. The salad was small but just enough. I went for the broiled crab cake for dinner, which was delicious — big chunks of crab and not much filled. My mom had the catch of the day, a mahi maui fillet that was sautéed in a yummy garlic sauce. Sides were fine — I had mac and cheese and coleslaw, though nothing particularly special. We splurged on dessert since we’d been such savvy savers. My chocolate/peanut butter cake tasted like it had perhaps been in the fridge a day too long, but my mom’s chocolate chip bread pudding was awesome.

Wanted to be seated outside but told the wait was 45 mins. First available was 30 mins, so we decided to take it. Wait turned out to be about 8 minutes and we were seated in a tired, worn back room with no windows. Service and food were both great, but ambience of the room where we were seated was terrible. I would def recommend eating here, but wait for an outside table or at least one in the main dining room with a water view. My rating would have been close to a 5 if we had done that.

Kinda pricy for what you get, but it’s on the water so you pay for the view as well. Got the crab cakes(definitely go for broiled over fried) which were good but not mind blowing. Nice casual atmosphere but doesn’t stand out from the other seafood joints in the area.

Been here about 6 times since August of 2014 and today — each time has gone well. Consider: I go by boat and always around lunch time(11 – 2) — several public slips and generally easy to dock Place is huge and we’ve always gotten a table w water /bay views Our food has been very good for the price of «dining» on the water at the shore on a weekend — not special but good — we typically get fish tacos, fried flounder, raw oysters, etc no complaints Service has always been good for us — friendly servers, today it was Shannon and she was very nice The owners of this establishment apparently own the two nearby restaurants on the bay so we’ll give those a try as well

Out for happy hour. $ 2 drafts but not much of a deal. The glasses are only 10oz. The steamed clams are 4.50 a doz. small and need a piece of bread. There’s better out there.

Every year, we go to Urie’s for our anniversary. In the past, the quantity of food was not that impressive but the quality was memorable. However, they must have gotten wind of less-than-stellar quantity because it was impressive this year! I’m happy to report that between the quality and quantity of food combined with the dockside ambiance, Urie’s delivers a top notch experience. We’ll be back for our next anniversary!

It’s amazing to me that a restaurant with such a great location and set up can be so bad. It was my first time here, so maybe it was a fluke. But with 2 great options right next door, I won’t be back. Happy hour 2 – 4 every day with music. Sounds good right? Think twice. Service was poor. Waited 10 – 15 min just to be greeted, only to be told they were busy and they would have to find someone to wait on our table by the bar. We were happy to order from the bar but were told we had to wait for a server. Ugh, really!!! After ordering drink(and sippin’ on them) we were told they were not included in the happy hour pricing. Again, ugh, really!!! Apparently an u knowledgeable server, who isn’t accustomed to serving the bar for happy hour. Would have been nice if the prices were adjusted. Food was okay. Not fantastic not bad. Had HH mussels, steamers and crab balls. Did I mention the band? Remember Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer portraying the church singers on SNL? Well they were making a guest appearance today. Then the check came. And we waited for change. And waited. And waited. And waited. Timed it… 15 minutes. Eventually went to the bar to break a bill. Usually I’d just leave the generous tip but after the disheartening experience I didn’t have it in me. Left frustrated. But with a smile on my face as I headed to The Boathouse, where a fantastic one man acoustic guitar was playing and singing. I won’t be back.

This restaurant was fantastic. It looks a bit small from the outside but is huge inside. Very spacious seating. Our party of 10 had lots of room to crack our crab legs and eat dinner. They happily welcomed us at 9pm as they closed at 10pm. Our waitress, Ann was amazing! She could describe each menu item we asked about accurately and recommended drinks from their drink menu. Side note: The Cranberry Shandy from the Cape May Brewery is fannnnntastic! We had 5 children with us, 3 of which are picky eaters. It was super easy to pick from their menu! Mac n cheese, apple sauce, chicken tenders, fish sticks. So much to choose from! The waitress was informative right away about the specials. I just can’t say anything bad about this place. They are fantastic. Highly recommended for big groups, great food, and great scenery.

This was my first time coming to Wildwood and this place was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. We went to this restaurant and hour it was about to close and My server Russell was wonderful. I know as restaurants come to a close sometimes they tend to rush customers out. He was very engaging and made the dining experience amazing. Me and my date had a great view of the water from our seat with a nice breeze as the sun set. My date had the Catch of the Day which happened to be salmon and loved it. I had flounder which I enjoyed as well. Only mistake that occurred was that I was given the wrong side which I’ll give a pass since I changed it last minute but thankfully Russell brought the side dish that I chose shortly after I mentioned the mistake to him. Wonderful service!

Just had lunch here. Very open breezy feel. On the water. Open setting. Overall very cozy. But listen… The food quality was absolutely atrocious. I ordered a fried seafood combo. It read scallops, shrimp, flounder and a crab cake. Ok! Now we’re talking. This should be a pretty tasty meal for 20 bucks! What I got was a greasy, sloppy,(maybe previously frozen) mess of junk on a plate. This meal would’ve given Paula Dean a heart attack. 1 scallop, 1 shrimp, an over-sized crab ball dripping mayonnaise and grease(couldn’t find the crab meat): Frozen flounder? Arby’s curly fries? Oh my goodness! My wife’s coleslaw was literally rotten.(This is not an exaggeration) She had to spit out the coleslaw because she was going to vomit(maybe the mayo?)… My house salad had brown, wilted lettuce in it(with no dressing). I was disgusted. I would recommend you come off the parkway and drive past this place. There is a restaurant next to, and across the street… give those a try.

Awesome place to visit in Wildwood! To start, our server, Megan was amazing and extremely attentive. I ordered the all-you-can-eat snow crab legs and they were fresh and hot when they got to the table. Before I ran out of crabs each time, Megan was at the table asking if I needed more. We also had the crab balls which were great. Overall, great experience, would recommend visiting.

*Face-Palm* –They should probably change the name to Urie’s Embarrassment or something. «Waterfront Views — WHATVIEWS?!» — We’ve heard a lot of hype about the views of the waterfront here. I hoped to get some good photo ops of the waterfront. But unfortunately, the waterfront area was closed due to a wedding that night. This place had no other room for patrons to dine while enjoying the waterfront views and snapping photos of it. Where’s the hype now? Absolutely pitiful. We came for the early bird special one night for dinner. This special was valid for those who were seated before 6pm. As soon as we came in, we were seated. A few minutes later, our friendly waitress came by and took our drink orders. After we got our drinks, we placed our early bird orders. «WATERED-DOWNPRE-MADE Drinks Galore» — Yeah, we ordered some frozen cocktails. We ordered a Dirty Banana(go ahead — laugh) and a Strawberry Shortcake. The Dirty Banana supposedly contained banana rum, dark crème D’Cacao, chocolate syrup, and a pre-made TROPICS ice cream mixture. I got the drink, and I was able to taste the chocolate and banana flavors. But I didn’t feel the«sensation» that you would usually get when consuming drinks like these, which was a clear indication of being«watered-down». My mom ordered a Strawberry Shortcake, which supposedly contained vanilla rum, amaretto, and pre-made TROPICS Strawberry & Pina Colada. Her drink was also watered down, and mostly tasted like strawberry with nothing else. Even though my drink was topped off with whipped cream, both of the drinks ordered were very disappointing. The early bird special consisted of a selected entrée plus a garden salad, shareable rolls, and two choices of either french fries, a baked potato, green beans, mac & cheese, or cole slaw — all for one price of that entrée. My dad and I ordered the Sirloin Steak(medium well) with french fries and mac & cheese. My mom ordered a Fried Filet of Flounder with green beans and mac & cheese. Everything came at once. «Savory Rolls» — The rolls that we received were HOT and tasted fresh. The top part of the roll had a little sweet flavor, which was fine. With the added butter, the rolls were simply delicious. This was simply perfect. The garden salad was a total joke. There was only one cherry tomato, one slice of cucumber, and the rest was simply made up of lettuce. I’ve had garden salads elsewhere(particularly at certain chain restaurants), and they contained a higher variety of vegetables mixed in. Wow. Way to be cheap, guys. At least the seasoned croutons that I asked by request was delicious, but come on. «Dryness And Blandness Galore» — The sirloin steak that my dad and I had tasted very dry. The A-1 sauce that we requested did add flavor, but it was still dry nonetheless. My mom’s fried flounder fillet had no flavor or seasoning at all. She had to constantly add salt and pepper to almost every bite each time.(I forgot to snap photos of the entrees since I was over eager to get into the hot tub at the Bolero, but then again, the food wasn’t good anyway.) The french fries that we ordered were crispy, but the appearance was enough to tell me that these weren’t made fresh. The mac and cheese wasn’t very warm, and tasted as if it was pre-made. The service overall and rolls were excellent, but it isn’t enough to justify a rating higher than ‘1’ due to the poor drinks, food quality and not being able to see the waterfront views that night. They need to consider opening an additional section for other patrons to enjoy the waterfront views in case the main room gets closed due to private events. Even if there is a night for waterfront views to be photo-snapped at, I still wouldn’t be back to this embarrassment that they call a restaurant due to the poor food and drink qualities.

We are there last night and service was very friend but slooooww our food was very poor quality. Lobster bisque tasted straight out of the can and was not even hot. My wedge salad was not good either, I didn’t think it was possible. The dressing tasted like cheap sweet ranch with blue cheese crumbles thrown on top and my husbands flounder was awful. The portion was tiny and he said it was just bad and that’s coming from a man that would eat anything. His Mac and cheese was mushy over cooked and tasted straight from the freezer. All over very very disappointing.

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Wildwood, but unfortunately it’s been declining over the past few years. They took away the arcade that used to be near the entrance, which tore my heart out and took away my childhood memories there. The food is still good, but isn’t what it used to be in my opinion. Hopefully it’ll be better this summer.

I love the atmosphere of Uries. It is so open and airy feeling and entertainment on the deck is a real plus too. I like the early bird option since it is not as busy and is a great opportunity to watch the sunrise. The food is dependable and the service is solid. I do not think that the food is nearly as good as the Lobster House in Cape May but then again you will not have to subject yourself for up to a two hour wait. I like that Uries has a video arcade for kiddos and that they are very family friendly. Uries is a reliable place to go with the family during a vacation at the beach. I look forward to going back.

Our service was great with our waitress, however we were completely appalled at how management took care of a situation. During my meal I noticed that the corn on the cob had a huge bite mark in it and I swear I didn’t even touch it to the very end, that’s when I noticed the bite. I let our waitress know and she brought it to the attention of one of her managers Paul or Kevin(who cares, he was a blonde douche who needs to get his head out of his butt). Instead of handling it in a professional way he came stomping over to our table and started to accuse me of lying. I told him that I was not lying and in no way was looking for a free meal, I just wanted to bring it to their attention of how disgusting it is. He goes«well…what do you want me to do then huh?» and asked that a few times. He should’ve been a manager and figured out a way to take care of it instead of being such an @$$. Well I am never going back here ever again and will make sure to tell every one I know to not bother with this horrible establishment. Kevin/Paul, next time you have to deal with a customer issue don’t be such a douche bag. You can take half eaten piece of corn and shove it up your a-hole.
