Our stay at the 901 Guest house was one of our best B&B stays ever. From the minute we arrived and met Amy the Inn keeper and her warm and welcoming personality, it was a nice transition from a long car ride. She took the time to provide us with a tour of one of the most complete and original victorian homes built during the age of the lumber barron. What alterations where made to make it a B&B with a private bath for each room was done thoughtfully so no awckward showers in what used to be coat closets or anything. the rooms are eleganly decorated and furnished with out to much stuff that often gets cramed into every corner of most B&Bs. Great refreshments in the evening even better breakfast in the morning and plenty of local information and recomendations. As a traveler who tries to support small business I often feel like I am making a contrubution because not all of the places I have stayed really provide a complete and easy stay. This time the bargain was all mine.
