Excellent prime rib! It was fall off the bone good! Dueling moose and Black Forest cake were worth ordering. Server was very attentive and kind. Atmosphere was very appropriate for an upper class steakhouse. I highly recommend this place if you have some cash to spare.

I always look forward to eating here. The prime rib is the best I have ever had. I don’t like prime rib because I am afraid of chewy fat meat and it is so soft and tender. A must have is the 6 onions soup. Better than any French onion soup you will ever have I love the Thai calamari. Although I have had it delivered chewy it’s not normally like that. I have always had amazing service and I love coming here. Been living in the area for that past years years and it’s still one of my favorite places to eat. Love it.

We had the harvest Prix Fixe on Saturday and it was delicious! We started w/the crab cake appetizer, one of the best I’ve ever had(and I used to vacation in MD). The salad was spinach w/roasted beets, sunflower seeds, Gorgonzola and a balsamic vinaigrette… wonderful then came braised sort ribs with more roasted root veggies. Dessert was pumpkin cheesecake w/a bourbon caramel sauce. Great price, service and amazing quality meal.

The restaurant itself is appealing. Atmosphere is good, not too noisy. At 6:30 on Friday of a holiday weekend you’d expect to wait but we only saw 4 other tables occupied. Why the rating? Let me start by saing that the food isn’t horrible. But it is sold and priced as an exclusive restaurant. The food doesn’t match the show. We ordered the calamari at the recommendation of the waiter. The breading was extremely light — a plus. The sauce was pretty good too, a little spicy and a little sweet. But the calamari itself was so rubbery that my wife gave up trying to chew it. Mushroom soup was the soup of the day so we tried it. Meh. For an entre she got the Asparagus strudel. It was decent. The dish itself seemed like a good idea but it didn’t taste like the chef was at all inspired. I got the whitefish baked in paper. It was bland and boring. It came with a small side of pasta which was fine and some onion straws which were the best thing on my plate. Our server was very good. Very attentive and said«excellent» at least a dozen times as he came to refil our waters, clear plates, and check on our satisfaction. Not horrible but also not significantly better than a coney island. Really not worth the money. Maybe the $ 90 Australian Lobster would have been better?

Server Aaron was professional and attended to us in a way that met our needs, but was not intrusive. Consistent with the service we often receive at bourbons. The food was.. . Well.. . OK. Like many high end casino restaurant a good meal if comped, but if paying full price(we were discounted but not comped) kinda underwhelming. I had filet, maybe ½ a temperature over done but acceptable, wife had stuffed shrimp. Again OK, but for $ 39 three shrimp Al a carte you need to really impress. If you get comps from casino host, better than we have experienced at other Michigan casino, but if paying many better options in Tc.

Bourbon 72 is an upscale steakhouse located inside of Turtle Creek Casino. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the week you can usually walk in and be seated, but occasionally they are busy and you may have to wait. I would recommend calling for a reservation if you know you are planning to eat here, especially on the weekends. The atmosphere is romantic, the décor is beautiful, and the seating is very comfortable. They have recently changed their menu and I have to say, «The food is awesome».(not so much the bread) My husband ordered the filet, and he says it is one of the best around. He also had the au gratin potatoes and loved them. So far I have tried the crab cakes(yummy!) then the Alaskan king crab legs with a side of their new cream corn(spectacular) then a sweet potato pecan tart(OMG this is phenomenal). My daughter had a filet and baked potato then cheesecake. She was very pleased. The service here is always wonderful, and thanks to our discount when we use our player’s club card, the bill is always reasonable. Jessica is an amazing waitress, always willing to accommodate any special requests we might have. If you get a chance to eat here, I would highly recommend it.

Awesome glazed filet! Good service and reasonably priced considering it was the casino steakhouse.

Service is OK nothing bad nothing extra ordinary. The food I would honestly give it a 3 ½ but will rate it a 4 because the desert was good, Took some pics will upload them when i get back to Las Vegas. I had seared tuna appetizer was OK nothing extra special. The french onion soup was tasty good. I also ordered the chicken and asparagus. The chicken was tasty and but due to the different thickness was cooked just right and close to tough in the thin thickness. The 2 other people who had dinner with me would rate it a 3. He ordered a salad, ribs and desert.

The menu looked OK… but as I would have guessed — it was pretty sad. The waiter was sort of over the top friendly, which is sad to say… but it was borderline annoying. The salads were nothing special. Don’t order the cherry vinaigrette — yuck! The blue cheese dressing was the blandest we’d ever tasted. They came with bread that looked and tasted like Cole’s frozen garlic bread. Not worth the calories at all, so we skipped it. I ordered the Bourbon County Steak which was supposed to be a 2 Medallions of tenderloin pan seared with shallots & garlic then deglazed with bourbon demi-glaze. It was a bad, grisly steak covered in a brownish gravy. The garlic mashed potatoes were a solid rock. The broccoli being the savior of the plate. However, I had to remove the rather large piece of … wait for it … watermelon floating in the gravy before I could really consider eating off the plate. Seriously! My companion ordered the«Light, flakey Walleye crusted in a cashew butter & baked to perfection». Also accompanied on the plate with a large slice of watermelon… The fish was decent, however the cashew flavor over powered it. The pilaf and broccoli were fairly decent. There was nothing special about anything. If anything the watermelon in the gravy was a bit disturbing. If you happen to win at the casino, perhaps you might choose to spend your money here. Otherwise, save it for a better place!
