Red Hot and Blue. All the ones in FL have been closed a long time. Unilocal had a get 10 free wings on check in, sweet! I wanted to be thrilled with the place, but it was just mediocre. Guess that is why all the ones in FL closed. Food was OK and the price was too. It wasn’t great and it could have been with just a little better food and service. This took care of my Red Hot and Blue fix, next time they will be out of business.

Admana our waitress was wonderful. Everything was good. The sweet potato was HUGE and perfectly cooked. The only problems we had was the drink wasn’t quite right and the desserts were over priced. We would go back.

Red, Hot and Blue seems to be a restaurant chain swirling the toilet, but at least they seem to give the franchisees some leeway that allows the remaining locations to rise above if they want to. The brand has been sold to a conglomerate and many locations including the original has closed, but this one keeps on with the basics and then some. My experiences have been mixed here, mostly due to service. The barbecue has been fairly consistent and they often have some specials that are really good. For instance, when I was there in December, they had a big bowl of jambalaya that was really great with lots of meat and spicy that others in my party ordered. When I was in town in October they had it on the board near the front door so I wanted to order it for myself, but I also wanted a salad, so I added a side salad. Since it wasn’t a regular menu item, I never read a description and it turns out it came with a salad, but my server never told me this. She served my side salad first, then when my jambalaya came out she gave me another salad. I tried to explain to her that I never would have ordered a salad if I knew my entrée came with one and she asked if I wanted her to «take it off» and I thought she meant take it off the bill, so I was satisfied that it had been resolved. Then I note that she gave me an iced tea spoon to eat with and when I asked for a soup spoon she insisted that an iced tea spoon is what they give you to eat with. I insisted and she eventually came back with a real spoon. When my check came, I had still been charged for the salad and when I asked her about this she said that was because I ate both salads. I told her I only ate the second salad because she offered to «take it off» but she said that she meant take it off my plate(which she never even attempted to do). At that point I asked for a manager and instead of getting one, she finally took it off my bill. Very, very odd. I’ve never had a problem with the quality of the food here, but that last visit was very odd and a total contrary experience to the one previous.

Very, very mediocre. It’s simply not worth it to get barbecue here, when you’re near so many other great BBQ joints — like Pierce’s(for«fast food» style BBQ) or County Grill(for the real deal). Don’t waste your time at Red Hot and Blue. The only thing I liked was the potato salad. I’m not being a food snob — it’s simply that the food was of mediocre quality. It’s that simple. I will admit that they had good service. But you don’t go to a restaurant for the service.

Stopped in while in Williamsburg, expecting good BBQ and Ribs prepared southern style. We were very disappointed!!! The pulled pork, while fresh, was just that — pulled pork ! No flavor, no seasoning whatsoever !!! The ribs were bland as well, the chicken pink inside and out. We were told the Restaurant prepares all of their food this way, you must add your own seasoning. BBBQ sauce and vinegar were on the table. According to the manager this is because so many patrons have food allergies ! I have eaten bbq and ribs many places but this was definitely the worse! I have had better pulled pork in NYC :-(if you like good bbq and ribs dont expect to get it here. If you are allergic to salt, pepper and seasoning of any kind. This is the place for you !! Oh, and they ain’t cheap either !!!

Great barbecue! Went here on a Thursday night in late September. Service was fast, but robotic. The food was very good, but salty. I guess that is normal for BBQ… I had the 5 sampler meal, wife had a burger. We both liked the sauce, she used the mild, I had the hotter stuff. Overall, left happy and would return.

I wished I would have read the reviews before going here and I might have gone some place else! Now keep in mind going up in the south, you eat BBQ cooked on a back yard BBQ grill or smoker! And a turning point in anyone’s life is when you learn how to master your own grill! With all that being said, I was not impressed by the ribs or the brisket in my Togo order! 1st let me say the meat on both the ribs and brisket was very, very tender, which leads me to believe the meat was preboiled to achieve the fall off the bone tenderness! But what good is tender meat if it has no flavor at all! Good BBQ done right shouldn’t have to be drowned it BBQ sauce! The sauce is for dipping your bread and fries in! So with that being said, I’m only giving this place 2 stars, for the friendly service! Oh I did like the 3 pigs on the sign!

I had the pulled pork sandwich plate with a personal size onion loaf, potato salad and coleslaw. It all was very tasty. The one thing I’d improve on would be a good scoop of coleslaw rather than the condiment cup size serving. For those that want to pickup/take the meal home, there is a small side room separate from the dining area if you so choose.

We have been here a couple of times when take our Harley ride, most of the wait staff is of Ukraine origin. Very professional but leaves lack luster for personable. Food is good, but nothing spectackular.
