Great food and prices! We got the hibachi and a Philadelphia roll. Yum yum sauce seems to have a lot of mustard in it. Don’t let the empty restaurant scare you away

Very great steak and shrimp, the steak is not«rubbery» at all. We always stop here when we visit Williamsburg. Good service and good price.

While Looking forward to the Chinese food place my grubbing buddies said we were going to for lunch, I so happened to overlook the actual name of the restaurant. «Tokyo Express,» which was not a fast food Chinese places I so often go to for fried rice, lo mien and egg rolls; no, this Japanese fast food place had what tasted like fresh veggies. My zucchini, onions, and carrots were freshly chopped and stir fired, and the shrimp were larger than the usual size you find in your Chinese fried rice boxes. We got several sushi rolls too. Yes, these folks know how it’s done, and I do plan to return soon.

Always good food. I had the beef and shrimp hibachi lunch. Reasonable priced and adequate portion. Sushi is great, too. And very reasonable. I can get a nice lunch for $ 10 – 12

They close at 9:30 and my family and I walked in at 9:25. The staff were sweeping the floors and trying to head home for the night. I’m giving 4 stars because they turned the grills back on and made our orders immediately. Another couple entered the place after us and they were served too but the staff was minutes from being in their own homes before we walked in. Food was good. I had the chicken hibachi and some sushi. Plenty of food for a very reasonable price. I recently took some sushi classes and was amazed how fast she was able to make my sushi order. What takes me 7 – 10 minutes took her 30 seconds. They had all reason to turn us away. I appreciate hard working people who go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. Therefore, I will make sure I return to support them.

Love there sushi and great prices. The kids love the hibachi chicken. Only complaint is they charge .50 for every sauce you ask for. Eel sauce with sushi is .50, yum yum sauce .50, any sauce is .50 each extra.

We had their lunch special that was $ 5.35 plus tax. This is not Sarku teriyaki chicken, but not bad for the price. Chicken was tender and juicy, even though they were cubed. We’re used to more shredded look at Sarku. The teriyaki sauce poured on top looked a bit unappetizing, but it wasn’t bad. The veggies were cooked right, not too mushy or overcooked. Fried rice was good, too. My kids and I liked the«yummy» sauce. I would come back here for a quick bite next time I visit. Don’t be skeptical and walk away which we almost did, even though the place may seem empty.

I have been going here at least once a month for over a year. The food is fantastic— especially the tempura shrimp sushi roll and the hibachi(I get steak). The yakisoba is also great. A few months ago, they raised the prices on the hibachi. The hibachi dinner used to include a miso soup, which made it a really good deal, and doesn’t anymore. The food is still good, but it is not a steal as it used to be.

The food is so good and you get soooo much for your money!!! I went with my mom, and we spent $ 31 and ended up with enough food for 5 meals! The crab Rangoon is on point and I got the Spicy girl roll and the Rock n Roll, both were phenomenal! Staff is super friendly and food tasted amazing, I totally recommend this place! If you’re in Williamsburg, you have to try it!

The Goyza and Crab Rangoon appetizers are phenomenal! Probably the best I’ve had in a fast-food:take out sort of place. We had the hibachi dinner with the beef, chicken and Shrimp. The dinner itself was just ok. The meal came with 3 pieces of shrimp a ton of chicken and beef, veggies and fried rice, all for a reasonable price. The meat itself was good along with the veggies. However, we were a bit disappointed in the fried rice. The fried rice was too greasy and honestly no flavor at all. From having those appetizers and being anxious to see what the meal was like, it was a huge disappointment. I will however return just for the appetizers.

This place was very reasonably priced, but it made me miss home terribly while on vacation. I know there are great sushi places in the District,(duh), but East Moon in Woodbridge kicks the pants off this place. This restaurant is good for a quick meal that is inexpensive while traveling, but I wouldn’t go again… However, I love high quality sushi and Asian fusion and that isn’t what you’ll get here. What you will get is acceptable food at a fair price and that may be what you want, but if you want high quality sushi, this isn’t the place.

I had two sushi rolls. The price was amazing, but the quality wasn’t great: the rolls were mostly rice with very little fish. It seemed like sushi was added as an afterthought to the menu, without the same attention given to the hibachi. «Express» is an adjective that captures this place perfectly.

Great quick hibachi style food without paying high prices just for the show. Loved the ginger soy sauce and portions were good for the prices. Although not true japanese cooks(i am Japanese and when they spoke, it wasn’t japanese) it tasted pretty good and yes, I would come back when in the area again. House salad was only $ 1; can’t beat that.

I didn’t particularly like this place. I ordered the beef and chicken combo. Portions were descent I guess, Yum Yum sauce was runny and I felt sick after eating here. My daughter didn’t like it either. Compared to what we get from places like this at home, this place was a fail. My wife liked it though except they did not put enough shrimp in her shrimp and beef combo. The place was clean though.

We were skeptical at first looking from the outside, but the reviews looked good so we decided to try it and it was BANGIN! Reasonably priced and they bring the food to your table. We shared the lunch special and a couple spring rolls, and it came with the«yum yum» sauce from hibachi restaurants. It was delicious. Will be back when I visit Williamsburg for a quick bite.

This place a great place to go to for a large amount of food for decent price. The white sauce used typically at hibachi places didn’t taste really good(I think this place used thousand island). Other than that, the sushi was good and so was the chicken hibachi + fried rice. If you are the craving for some cheap Japanese hibachi/sushi without all of the show of spatula flipping + extra $$ go here. You can also get take out which is convenient.

The food here is the best carry out food court style food. The value is great and flavor is very good! You want Asian food that’s not Chinese carry out this is the place! They have Japanese noodles and sushi dishes long with tempuras. Less greasy than Chinese. I recommend this place. Only downside is location. Far away from everything.

Called while 15 minutes out in i64. They were putting it all together when I walked in the door. 1 hibachi meal in the take out box is a lot of food and comes with vegetables. You won’t go away hungry. Seaweed salad was good also.
