This firm (Les himself) attempted to help my elderly mother set up a FLP and 5 years later we realized it was not set up properly and is null and void as it stands. He advised it’s set up to avoid potential future nursing home fees to evaporate the holdings. Now she’s 75. we’ve wasted 5 precious years, and need to start over. To rectify, a different attny has offered to set up a trust for 5,000 $ (um, WHAT?). In addition to the sloppy legal work, this law office (Les) never responded to follow up phone calls or emails when the initial FLP was set up. NO i would not recommend to a friend, or foe. Hang up your hat Les, it you can’t serve your clients properly to execute in what they are paying you to do. In my world, I’d get fired for incompetence, but oh wait, you already cashed the check. This carelessness is completely unacceptable.
