Brad messaged a courtesy response and offered a gift card for a return visit. Have yet to receive it.

Really good food & service. Had the hot roastbeef sandwich –was very good. Did not like the nachos. Tasted like doritos with too much chili powder coating everything.

Very nice atmosphere. My only comment is the way the indoor/outdoor ordering is set up. I was outside for an evening event. It was my first time there. There are two large windows to the inside bar. I believed that was where you ordered. However I stood there for at least five minutes with no service. A waitress walked by me numerous times but did not have the common courtesy to tell me I had tp order inside. Instead she kept shooting me mean looks. I guess she assumed that since she knew the’rules” I did too. That is lousy customer service.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant! It is a nice place to eat and go and get a beer after a long day! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. My husband and I love to eat here.

Atmosphere was decent at best. A hodgepodge of animal heads, an antique motorcycle, and a canoe hanging from the ceiling. The service was horrible. One waitress for 7 tables and the waitress was also responsible for making drinks at the bar for the dining room. Waited 20 minutes for a drink refill which never happened. I had to go to the bar to get drink refills for my son and myself. Owners just stood around with their hands in their pants. They didn’t touch tables and didn’t give a shit. Won’t go back.

The location is awesome! Food is amazing ! Staff super friendly ! I moved here from Philadelphia and when my fan and friends visit I plan on taking them here. First off the location is beautiful ate outside in fall and the trees on mountain were beautiful. It was peaceful! The nachos appetizer exceeded my expectations. I got the fish tacos which were phenomenal! Highly recommend!

I went here last Saturday and had a great experience. Went back today and the service was terrible. The food both times was great. Lousy service makes the dining experience less than enjoyable no matter how good the food is. Hopefully the gentleman who waited on us learns this.

Good solid place for casual dining. I had the Southwest Beef sandwich… quite good. My son loved the wings. Loved the atmosphere on Lycoming Creek, deck, padio, fire pit, and live music. Heck… there was even a beach! With the deck it is worth the trip. However, on bad weather days your local eatery or draft house would be comparable.

This place is great since being rebuilt from the flood. Packed on the weekends during nice weather and well worth the wait for food!

It’s a nice place on the inside and out — cool river-front seating with a tiki bar and fire pits… the food, however, was not awesome. The chicken and biscuits were way too salty(with a consistency of dinty moore slop), the house dressing was super sweet and way too garlicy, and the 6 dollar drinks were mostly water. Our waiter(though nice) forgot our apps and salads, I’m assuming because they were slammed. I would come back here for drinks around the fire, but skip the food completely.

I’m hoping for a better experience next time. Our waiter tended to ignore our table; it took a long time for us to place our order and a long time for our burger and salad to arrive. The décor was rustic country, with animal heads on the wall and an aquarium in one wall. There’s a dining room with booths and tables and high-top table seating near the bar. Parking is available in a gravel lot. Some diners arrived by snowmobile. I ordered a cup of chili; it was a little spicy for me and was accompanied by a refrigerated, cold cornbread muffin that tasted a little stale. My salad was a weird combo of fire-roasted peppers, mushrooms, onions and shrimp over greens and tomatoes and covered with cheese and fries. Really, just offer fajitas instead. It was yucky and I didn’t finish it. However, my companion loved his burger. I’ll try that route next time and see if the experience improves.

Great place and food. Overlooks the river and has a perimeter deck for outside seating. Good apps and beer selection. Check it out.

Before you read on please understand I never really ordered a «meal’. Bill and I took the back roads home to Towanda from the PSU game on Saturday. We wound up stopping at Pier 87 with the idea that we’d grab some 6-packs to-go. The atmosphere here is amazing. Indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is placed right along the creek and even has a fire-pit and a additional bar on the«lawn». We sat at the indoor bar which has large garage doors that open it right up to the wrap around porch. We had quite a few beers and decided we HAD to at least order at least an appetizer. Landed on the loaded nachos. Best I’ve ever had!!! They had chili and chunks of steak on them as well as your typical nacho toppings. Our bartender was okay. She had a full bar so we didn’t have the best service of all time. But a few members of the wait staff made general conversation with us. Everyone seemed very friendly. They even gave me full control of the TV remote so we could watch whatever we wanted. We are coming back soon to try their actual dinners and enjoy that fire-pit.

Food is always mediocre at best. I’ve been a few times and always leave a bit unsatisfied. Most recently, I ordered nachos for an appetizer. I asked for chicken, but was quickly informed that it is impossible for Pier 87 to supply chicken on top of nachos, so that’s neat. They consist of a basket of over-seasoned doritos chips covered with liquid nacho cheese. So that’s disgusting. I also had an allergic reaction to the jalapenos, which has never happened before and I have no known food allergies, so, apparently, it’s just this place. I can’t handle bad service and this place is the least accommodating restaurant in the area, and that’s significant. The only reason to go here is the patio. So save yourself the trouble and just eat and drink on your own patio.

Great atmosphere, horrible food, worse service. This place was great to sit outside and watch people in the creek… have a drink, play corn-hole… When the sun went down we sat by the fire. There was a gentleman at the tiki hut named(Scott?) who was awesome! He told us about the mixed drinks, told us about food he had, checked on us when we were by the fire and even grabbed a chair for my husband. However… We sat on the porch area to eat and everything went down hill! Our waitress(not sure her name but as u walk outback on the porch we were 3rd table on the left around 7:30pm 7÷5− maybe a manager could figure it out), she forgot our drinks, we had to ask twice, we never saw her– checked on us once, they were not busy! Our food… We got the«pier“ogies– sounded amazing! They were cold, soggy, barely any sauce on them and were wrapped in raw bacon. My husbands onion rings were cold. We wanted to send our food back but the waitress never came around so we ate some and wasted the rest. We did get the fried banana peppers which were actually really good and were the only hot item to come out! The French fries were good, but again, cold. So disappointing because the place seemed so cool. Oh! I almost forgot, the tiki hut guy told us about the ribs they had on special and got my husband to try an IPA beer, when we tried to order these things the waitress said they didn’t have them, we told her the guy just told about them, she said«oh, well I don’t have them».Uumm hello?! Offer to get them for us or offer for us to go down there, she just stood there… So disappointing! I’m not sure if we just had a bad server/cook or if this is normal but it was bad enough I probably wold never go back except maybe for a beer on the patio.

I photographed a wedding at this venue, and the location is just stunning, especially in the fall. The indoor area is very country/rustic which is perfect for the location, ALL the staff(even the owner) were very friendly and helpful. Food was great! highly recommend! you can view photos from the wedding here

Went to the pier 87 bar last night and had a excellent meal. The Cajun haddock was wonderful; great 14 oz portion, cooked perfectly. My wife got the Reuben, which was paired with shoestring type curly fries that were excellent. Goose island IPA was a great way to top off dinner. Service was a bit slow, but nothing different that I would expect for a packed house, our party of nearly 20 and a wedding reception out back. Our waiter, Mike, did a great job and I will ask for him specifically when we return. We’ll definitely be heading out again!

Just ate there for the first time and overall it was really good! For appetizer we had the fried bananas peppers and they were really yummy. Also had the calamari which was a little bland but not at all chewy like calamari can sometimes be. Dry rub wings were really good too. For my meal I had the fish taco which came with an order of curly fries. It had a good taste but was a little on the greasy side. We were a party of eight and everybody was satisfied with their food. Definitely check it out!
