Deadwood

We did not know about this place until the desk clerk at the hotel old us about it.
It was not what we were expecting. It was extremely enjoyable and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was terrific and the service was stellar.
We counted no less than 4 times that the manager made rounds through the dining room while we were there.
Being from out of town we were in no hurry and they did not even show any sign that they wanted to table.
This will be a stop every time we are in the area.

Good food. Steak is decent and the atmosphere is nice. Menu is small for entrees but good for sandwiches. Nice playground for kids of there’s a wait. Train, putt putt, and an ice cream shop.

Good steaks and salad bar. Its all I have had there so can’t mention the other menu items. Good 18 hole putt putt and a small train. Its worth going out of the way if traveling near Williamston on route 17 or 64.

This place was awesome. Some friends took us here a few days back and I was shocked to find something like this in the middle of nowhere! They have such interesting things around. It’s a quaint little «village» that has an ice cream shop, train, and roller coaster. All on the smaller (mini) scale, but still pretty cool. Apart from the attractions, the smokehouse put out some good food. Menu is pretty simple, steakhouse fare. Fried appetizers, steaks, chicken, ribs, etc. I had smokehouse chicken which was rather small, but good. Fortunately I added a salad bar, which was pretty decent. Wife had the fried chicken in pepper gravy. It was very good. Both of our friends had the ribs. They enjoyed them thoroughly. They’re homemade BBQ sauce is fantastic. Had a nice kick with great taste. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to this place.

This is such a neat place tucked away in the MON. They have typical steakhouse fare: steak, chicken, ribs. They have a salad bar that is pretty decent and incredible onion blooms! What is also really cool about here is the atmosphere — it is like a small community with ice cream/​coffee shop, play ground complete with small roller coaster, mini putt-​putt course and a train. Always fun for the whole family!

Deadwood Smokehouse Grill is a one-​of-​a-​kind fun eatery. This restaurant is family owned and operated and they take great pride in all they do. At Big Mill Bed and Breakfast we send ALL our guests to Deadwood and they love it! Don’t miss this. Chloe

great food, great service, and a great family atmosphere. it may be a bit out of the way but it’s worth the trip. it’s like a different world with a country western/​ghost town vibe. train ride, mini roller coaster, swings and things to entertain the kids while you wait. i definitely recommend checking this place out, it’s like no other!
