Best bbq in Texas. Amazing brisket and potato salad and friendly faces to boot. The brisket fell apart with just a little pull which is perfect and for $ 10 I got 2 meals. I will make a point to stop here every Lake trip

The Woodlands, TX
Great BBQ! Ribs fell off the bone. The owners run the place and it shows. Only open on weekends, I think? My husband and I live in the Woodlands. This was a treat to take a nice but short country drive to try their BBQ.

Right around the corner and it’s the first time I tried it. Spicy chicken exceeds reviews. Sooo good!
Quick service. I got chopped beef because I just couldn’t imagine eating chicken instead of beef at barbecue place. I should have listened to reviews. Barbecue was good but the chicken was the star.
I was a bit disappointed with the baked potato casserole. It tasted like potato salad to me. I thought I was getting cheese, bacon, casserole and it was average potato salad.
But a real gem on FM 830.

This is the only BBQ I eat in montgomery county. The food is awesome and the family service is great. You gotta try the spice chicken and my favorite the sausage wrap. In the winter the make gumbo and it is so good on a cold day. They are only open Thursday to SAturday. Yall gotta try this place when your in willis.

Amazing food! Great service! A potato salad casserole that’s AWESOME! And I don’t even like potato salad. Great one off dish «spicy chicken» Definitely give it a try if your in the area.

My niece kept telling me about «sugar fries» turns out they are regular fries with a seasoning on them. Fries were Great! I also had a chopped beef baked potato. All delicious.

Not your typical mom and pop BBQ joint! Seriously good BBQ that shouldn’t be missed. They are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They also cater events. Highly recommended!

I come here every time I go to the lake and even pick up to cater events. They have a drive threw window that makes it really convenient to take back to your house and for just a quick pick-​up meal. They have the best ribs I have ever had and I’ve had ribs from many famous places all throughout the south. Also their baked potato salad is a must grab. It taste amazing cold and heated up. All my friends just die over how good it is.

This is one of those «Hole in the walls on the side of the road» that can’t be missed!!!
Good– The Ribs are great, but get there early so you get the best selection. They have been known to run out.
Bad– Not open every day so you need to know the schedule. Luckily we live close so it’s not a problem, but if you don’t know it’s a shame to drive all that way and find out they aren’t open on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.
Ugly– Don’t expect a fancy joint this place is practically a shack on the side of the road but it’s charming and the food is terrific. You can even stay in your car and use the drive thru.
If you Enjoy Great Texas BBQ this is your place!
