It took months, but I finally got a helpful assistant on the phone who quickly refunded the extra $ 9 they charged me. I was frustrated that I spent nearly $ 200 there and they were arguing with me about a $ 9 that clearly didn’t fit in with the other types of purchases I made. But they did refund it and my trip to Vermont is coming up again so I plan to return.

The Northeast Fiber Arts Center (while slightly off the beaten path) is a great find. They have a large selection of fiber, classes not only for knitting but also for spinning and weaving, and a cheerful black lab who will greet you at the door with a sniff and a wagging tail.
The main reason for a low rating is that when they ran out of white in a common fiber that they had a full stock of and I asked them to order more, they said they would do it. After 3 months they still hadn’t. I went to Kaleidoscope in Essex Junction and they ordered it for me even though they don’t even carry that brand regularly and it arrived in 10 days.
