Motel 6 Cleveland-Willoughby

Staying here again. Something happened in the year since I was last here a year ago when I posted a 4 star a good rating review. Did it change management or something? General filth. Vacuum the hallways. The elevator is trashy. The shower faucet constantly drips water. The sink stopper is disconnected from controls. You have to get under the sink to operate stopper. The coffee is dishwater. The wood floors are not kept vacuumed or wiped down. Tufts of hair on my socks. This is just my room among many. Someone mentioned prostitutes propositioning male guests. Not me. BUT I did see a lady on a balcony eyeballing me with that certain look. I thought… hooker. Young women don’t ogle an old man in his 60s like this one A gentleman at the front desk was complaining about bugs in his room. I didn’t see that but I have little doubt it’s true. I already prepaid one more night. I could cancel I suppose. Just will find something better maybe, in the area for the extra nights. Really sad since last year. I guess you get what you pay for. Must have changed ownership. The young couple managers from last year were no where to be seen. There’s other dumps around here from Unilocal reviews. So… America in decay.
Having said that, I get a sense these people are trying hard to clean things up. Very polite. I see them working around the property. Perhaps they inherited a problem property and are working to get the act together. Only 1 star drop.

This place is so gross. I understand it is a cheap hotel but I was expecting a room with the basics: clean sheets, toilet paper, and clean towels. We told front desk staff (3 staff members over 6 hours) to please clean our room and it was never done. Ashes, chocolate and god only knows what else was all over the bed sheets and comforter. Our non-​smoking room smelled like a dive bar. Several transients lingering around at all hours and the cops were circling that place non-​stop.
I won’t even get too much into the people that were «guests» there. Several of my male family members were propositioned for sex while ladies had small children with them. I have stayed at some pretty raunchy hotels but this one takes the cake! If I hated someone and wanted them to be miserable I would force them to stay at the motel 6 in Willoughby ohio!

This is is the worst hotel even worst the the hole in the wall hotel I stayed at in Cleveland Ohio the employee dress as if there going to the beach flight and grope in each other check in time was at 3 didn’t get check in one room until 345 and the second Room another one 30 to 40 minutes later the room I got for my sister had so much mold in it trash under the beds and behind the night stand and was bitten by a bug and maitence looked and killed another bug and the manager wasn’t any help at all was the worst didn’t try to give us a second room to replace the first one so ended up bunkingup the worst never go there

There are bed bugs. Contacted the customer service on 6÷30÷15 and there is no response at all except for one automatic email stating the motel 6 has received my complaint. I will stay away from Motel 6 altogether.

One word NASTY!
1.Had to wear flip flops in the shower because it was so dirty.
2. Towels felt crusty and had black hair on them.
3. Sheets and blanket had stains on them.
4. Room smelled like cigarettes
Only reason why I didn’t give it one star, is that they do allow pets and at no extra charge.
As my mom warned me when I told her we were going to stay at a motel 6 «you get what you pay for». You were right mom!

I enjoyed my stay here! Minor issue: had to ask for clean towels and about the housekeeping. Everything else went great. And my concerns were taken care of right away. The staff who work here are polite! I would stay again.

I actually believe the best thing this place could do is change their name to avoid the stigma associated with being a Motel 6.
The facility was clean, and the night manager was friendly and well mannered, even under the stress of a plethora of people checking in all at once. When
screwed up, my wife and I were transferred from another motel here, and we were very happy that we were. It was easy to access off the main roads through the area.
Our room was very clean, updated (décor as well as new TV and A/​C unit), and comfortable, — including (and most importantly) the bed. There were no extra frills like a fridge or microwave. There wasn’t a spa, and I have no idea if there was a pool or not. The internet was not free, and there was no complimentary breakfast. If you want any of those things, then keeping looking. If you are just looking for a nice place to sleep for the night, then this is the place.

Love the front desk guy. Kind, respectful, professional. Clean room, showers, carpets. Cheap and dependable place to stay!

In my opinion, this is like the cadillac of Motel 6’s. I would definetly stay here again if in the area!
