I lived in Chicago nearly 20 years and this is by far the best New York Style pizza around. The sauce and crust make the pizza. Well done!

Best pizza in North Shore. Prefer the NY style to other establishment’s chicago style. Delivery makes it so convenient. Highly recommend for up north pizza consumption.

We love the pizza! It’s the perfect hole in the wall pizza joint. We get take out and enjoyit at home usually.

The pizza was fantastic. Came here on a double date and had been wanting to come here for a while. Prices were decent, they had a decent selection of specialty pizzas and even showed you the sizes of the boxes in relation to the pizza you were getting. The only knock is the seating. They had a counter with a few stools and only a few tables. Not a lot of room to be comfortable. It’s a small space inside so I get the fact that seating would be limited. Maybe they need to expand or move elsewhere where they can have larger real estate. I would go back bc I thought the pizza was really good, but I’d probably order carry out, or even have it delivered, bc I don’t like feeling uncomfortable when I eat.

«hot» dog is lukewarm. Fries are soggy. Frying oil is well past it’s «best by» date. Pretty disappointed. Good location.

The service is mediocre at best. The seating is not that great and the best is a single three person table. Delivery is only after 5pm. Yet, I’m from the East Coast, wanted good NYC style pizza and this place is the best in the area. Let me know if you find a better place in Wilmette, because I would love to find a nicer place with the same quality pizza. Really. It’s small, it’s cramped, I hate this place. Yet, I can’t even take off a star because their pizza is just that good.

This place is a disaster. Went around 12:30 and should have walked out before placing my order bc a customer was complaining it took 20 min for a hot dog and all the«cook» replied was he should have gone to McDonald’s if he wanted it fast. We ordered a Greek salad w/chicken, a slice of cheese pizza and fries. Took 18 min to get my salad, but it had no chicken, so I sent it back. 10 min after we ordered they realized they didn’t have anymore cheese pizza so thy had to start a new one. Fries came out first, so we started on those. Then my salad came, then I saw a whole pizza sitting there so had to ask about our missing slice. Overall, food was edible but nothing special – and the cooks eating their lunch behind the counter doesn’t add to the atmosphere!

I stopped by for a couple of slices for lunch the other day, and the pizza was delicious! I’ve ordered a couple of whole pie’s from No Man’s Land as well, and my favorite is the sliced sausage. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast.

Getting much better. The burgers are delicious and while the pizza is still not as good as real NY pizza, order the extra large to go and it gets pretty close.

Ever since I moved from the east coast I’ve been in search of good thin crust pizza. No Mans Land is a winner. The crust is good, thin and a little chewy the way it should be.

Not a big fan. I was convenient and a step above Domino’s. What is the fascination with NY style chewy crust pizza here in Chicago. I guess its to each their own. So I will let that slide but the product is a little cheap. I expected the pie to at least fit the footprint of the box. Fell short in that dept. If these types of places want to make it through the long hall then they have to step up their game. I have no issue with being charged a little more for a pizza that is quality. Good sauce followed by good cheese and topped with great fresh ingredients. Simple unless your trying to nickle and dime the customer. What is it going to cost you to use the same dough but roll it out a little larger to fit the box? At least my perception would be that this was a nice sized pie. Again, I’m just saying… Quality and great service and this place will be the only pizza place left standing in WIlmette.

Have just had the pizza here and it’s our family’s favorite in the area. Totally NY style and even being a born and bred Chicagoan — my wife included — we all love it. Nice staff and have eaten there a couple times, but lately have done the delivery. Introduced other friends and family to the place and they are now fans as well. This is the best thin crust in the area in my opinion. For a thicker crust and Chicago style, head over to Pizano’s in Glenview.

Took me awhile to try this place out but I have to say their pizza is real good. New york style as other reviewers point out but not quite there. Nevertheless, it’s the closest thing you’ll get outside Manhattan ‘cept it’s not as greasy which it has to be when you fold it and eat it. Fast friendly service too and a view of the lake. what more can you ask. Go. Eat!

As a native New Yorker, this is the closest to NY pizza I can get. I moved here a few years ago from Long Island, NY. Chicago pizza is okay… but NY style is just superior(sorry!). Needless to say, I was thrilled when I saw that No Man’s Land had opened a NY style pizza shop right in my neighborhood! They had a rough start… getting the ingredients just right, but they have nailed it now. Definitely my favorite pizza place around!

Wilmette desperately needed a fast-food restaurant like No Man’s Land. Walk in and, suddenly, you have a fine selection of burgers, pizza and all the usual side items. Reasonable priced, fast, delicious – what more could I ask for? People working there like what they do and are attentive to requests for changes in an order. I’d be a happy employee, too, if I looked out over lake Michigain all day long. Truly, this place has the best view of the lake of any restaurant on the North Shore. What do you do in the North Shore when you want a quick meal that tastes great? There are few alternatives to No Man’s Land. It attracts plenty of teenagers but many middle-aged(old?) folks like myself. I’m a regular and love it.

This food just doesn’t work. Cheap, New York style pizza. Over cooked and over fried food. If you’re in the mood for this kind of food for about the same price, head to Chuck Wagon or Homers on Green Bay. They do a much better job and make a much higher quality product.

We just moved to north Evanston and have been trying out all the restaurants and food establishments around our neighborhood. We tried a couple of other pizza places that had good Unilocal reviews and were disappointed. We then tried NML and loved it. Their pizza was really delicious and had quality ingredients with a perfect sauce to topping ratio. We were in the neighborhood once and decided to try it in the actual pizzeria. It’s the same quality pizza, but the restaurant is really not suited for a sit-down meal. They have one tiny table and a wall of bar stools. I think we’ll continue to order it for delivery from here on out.

Here is another place which will not put toppings on a pizza slice. Don’t they understand that they are losing major points for this? It’s a shame, too(both for my tastebuds and their bottom line) because their pizza is FANTASTIC. I mean, really really really really really really good. Very close to perfect. Their sauce THE best. The cheese is great. This is a thin, gooey slice but it is not New York style. The crust is slightly thicker and also airier and flakier, really phenomenal stuff. Between that and the bodacious sauce, only some overly greasy pepperoni is holding this joint back from an unequivocal tag of «best pizza slice in the land.» They also sell hot dogs and the like, not to mention soft-serve ice cream, so… feed all of your cheap gastronomic vices in one place. Well, except for tacos – no tacos here. Which is all for the good. Let them keep making outstanding pizza!

This place has an Identity problem. The pizza is eatable but completely unimaginative, and it’s almost as though they are trying to sabatoge the hot dogs. I would rather go to bed hungry than eat here again. There are many better options close by.

Thought the pizza was average at best. I was not impressed – I miss Piece in the city! I didn’t love the cornmeal crust and I felt the sauce lacked flavor. We also got a salad, which was a bit pathetic. It was small and mostly lettuce.
