Anytime Fitness

I was in town on business. I called to see if I could get a day pass. I spoke with Austin. He said sure, no problem. I asked their hours. The gym is open 24 hours, but he told me membership closes at 8:00, and he literally just closed. So, I asked if there was no chance to get a pass today. He responded…“Absolutely not.” Not an offer of, «If you can get here in five minutes, I’ll set you up» or anything like that. (I was right around the corner). I get that he has to go home, and I respect that. But it actually just felt kind of rude. I did not feel like a valued customer. Probably because I only wanted a day pass. But you know, I come to town on business often. He does get one star, for at least answering the phone. Save your money and go to Vital Ohio Gym instead. Great people and great environment. I’ll be calling them tomorrow. Crappy customer service experience at Anytime. That’s what I get for slumming.
