The worst experience I have had there. I’ve been there a few years ago to buy a bridesmaid dress, and they were great. This time around I went to pick out a wedding dress! First off I had a reservation and let the ladies know that I would have my mom and two bridesmaids with me, they said that was prefect. When we got there, we were 5 minutes early and was told to look at dresses and pull out ones we liked until the my consultant comes back from lunch. While we waited which wasn’t long, we pulled out dresses to try on, and that when I realized the dresses I pulled out, another consultant was taking them away for someone that just walked in after us wanted to try on after she saw us pull out the dresses. Not professional when I asked if she could wait since I pulled them out first and the lady stated «sorry if you aren’t in the dress I can take it for another customer.» I should of left after that comment but I stayed. My consultant arrived and we got to trying on dresses, but as soon as she arrived she left every 15 minutes and came back smelling like smoke. She was no help with helping me picking out more dresses. Also that dress that was taken from another consultant yea I finally got to try it on and my consultant said if I wanted it I needed to make a decision now because the lady that had it before most likely is my size and they only have one left in the whole area with a smirk on her face. PUSHY AND IM A SIZE 8 that lady was a size 16. Rude people don’t waste your time, there are plenty of other bridal stores that can make your budget work for your dream dress!

Had a wonderful experience at the Wilmington store! The staff in it’s entirety went above and beyond and were more than helpful throughout the entire process.
I had tried on an evening gown in the store that fit, but decided that I still wanted to shop around a little more before I committed. A few days later I decided to order the dress online, but when it was delivered to my house, it would not zip passed my bust. I brought it to the store and explained what had happened and asked if I could exchange the dress for a larger size and have it altered. They let me exchange for the larger size even though the original purchase was online. During my alteration appointment I was unhappy with how the dress was going to look after it was going to be altered and found another dress that I liked more. They again let me exchange the dress for a new one. I had my appointment to be fitted later that day. A few days before I was going to pick my dress up I had received a call from alterations asking me to come in (at my earliest convenience) to be refitted due to how the dress was pinned. While I was there she explained to me in detail why she wanted to refit me; which I highly appreciated!
They really do care about their clients and their happiness.
I will definitely return for future occasions!

The ladies were wonderful to work with me. A dress I ordered out of country was such a disaster. I went to David’s and explained my situation bc I only had 2 weeks to get my wedding. As I was sharing what happen one girl was asking what I envisioned I told and2 girls came with hand fulls of clothes and the gown off the storefront display. (That was my favorite from first look but the said it was being used as a display bc that line was being removed from their line. So an hour later I had my wedding gown (they got permission after talking to their headquarters said I could purchase it if I was adamant that was the dress. Well it was. It only need the cross cross straps righted up and some pearls restrung. In addition to my dress I had my reception dress. Jewelry and the perfect shoes. Close call but it all worked out! Great team of ladies to help in a stressful situation

We had the best experience at DB’s in Wilmington this past weekend! We had come in to try on bridesmaids dresses and the staff was able to accommodate all 5 of us, so that we had all the sizes we needed and were able to have fitting rooms side by side. We worked with a great consultant and even had one of the ladies from alterations stop by and introduce herself.
It was a great shopping experience, we found the right dress for everyone and the Bride to Be couldn’t have been happier.

Their manager and sales associates took excellent care of me and made sure I found my perfect dress! The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable in comparison to some of the snootiness I experienced at smaller boutiques. I visited several stores and without question David’s is where I found my dream dress and dream wedding dress shopping experience!
They have an excellent selection that allowed me to find something unique and top quality. When I tried on dresses I tried on ones I liked without looking at the price tag and the one I picked just happened to be a great value, that’s a huge bonus of David’s where they have excellent dresses that aren’t insanely expensive.
Another bonus is they are super easy to work with for picking out bridesmaids dresses that are pretty and not outrageous. A bonus of having stores all over is that bridesmaids can easily go to a David’s Bridal near them and try on their bridesmaids dresses as everything is streamlined in their computer system.
Lastly my dress came in within a month of ordering it giving me plenty of time to get alterations!
Overall this was a wonderful experience for me and I highly recommend the David’s Bridal in Wilmington!

Went here to find my mom a dress for my wedding. The ladies here were very friendly. Amanda was our consultant, she was one of the most helpful and friendly consultants I have ever encountered at a David’s bridal. We found my mom a beautiful dress!

Walked in and the lady at the front didn’t say hi or welcome, walked around and looked at their selection. Nothing caught my eye. Went over to the brides gown section and saw a pink gown I loved but not in my size. Almost bumped into a sales lady an she didn’t even acknowledge me, no excuse me, hi how are you… nothing. Spent about 20 minutes combing the racks and nothing. And never had anyone that worked at the store come up to help or ask to help.

This happened Sunday 2-​24-​2013 between 12:30−1pm, so the store had just opened and no one was tired from a long day at work.
Found a dress at Dillard’s, so my trip from Jacksonville wasn’t a complete waste.

Went here to purchase the two bridesmaids dresses for this summer’s weddings. Overall the service was good. Not sure why the dresses have such a back order on them though. I had anticipated this and went early. Either way they came in before their estimated date of arrival.
