Just ok. Fries are good. Not a fan of flat fried burgers. Rather have one thick burgers than multiple flat ones

I came here thinking old school kind of burger type of place. I ordered my burger, find out fries & soda sold separately. So I ordered the littlest options, find out difference was about $ 1.. I then said«well if that’s the case just keep original order!» I walked away almost $ 13 l8tr, with a «wtf»? In my head. Little did I know, as I sat and took a bite, you suddenly saw my eyes widen up as I thought to myself; «GENIUS»! BEST burger I had in a while. NOREGRETSLOL

It’s amazing how long it has taken me to finally get out here and try the Five Guys closest to the office. I have been to several that are farther away though, so I have some basis for comparison. As far as the food goes, it seems to be the same as the other Five Guys locations. I like getting the burger All The Way plus the extra peppers. It’s a sloppy juicy mess! Also noteworthy is they have two Coke Freestyle machines, which may help reduce the wait if there’s ever a crowd, but I prefer the Gold Peak iced teas. And finally, service is polite and reasonably efficient.

Always been a fan of the burgers. A great better than fast food stop. Recently I tried the hot dogs and I was so surprised. The hot dogs at Five Guys ROCK. Sad to say — but they’re actually better here than at Johnnie’s Dog House down the street. Simply put a good place to grab a quick bite alone or with the family.

Great burgers and the best fries around… I typically get a classic burger(lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and cheese) –it might be nice if they offered a bigger variety of toppings and sauces, but I get that they are trying to keep things classic. The fries really are the best — just like those you get at the beach. And it’s nice to have some peanuts to munch on while you’re waiting, because it can be tough to wait when the whole place smells so good :)

Great place! When I need a burger or need a quick bite this is the spot. I usually call ahead when I’m 10 minutes out and it’s always ready. The best!

If you live in The surrounding area you probably know Five Guys. They make great burgers and while prices have risen over the years, they still keep it affordable. The burgers are very good, they are well seasoned and have a great flavor. Sometimes I forget how good they are until I bite into one. The fries at most locations are very tasty, hand cut and made in peanut oil. They are top notch at most locations(only found one location I wasn’t thrilled with) The only draw back is that like many places now a days they do not cook to order, it’s well done(or what I consider medium well). If you like a rare burger look elsewhere… But with the great flavor of this burger I hunk you will still enjoy it, I know I do any I’m a medium rare kind of burger eater.

Five Guys has the best burgers. The regular burger is a double. The singles are called little burgers. And the french fries. Two of us usually split a small because there are so many. And they are done in peanut oil as proper french fries should be. They also have vinegar for your fries. Bonus. We started coming here because the quality and service at the Charcoal Pit up the road was beginning to slip. The service at this Five Guys, while still good, isn’t up to the service we’ve gotten at other Five Guys. But the food is still excellent.

As far a cheap burgers go, FG deserves the 5 stars. The fries are, hands down the best fast food fries in the business. I live equi-distant between the Fairfax location and the one in Glen Mills. I alternate just so they don’t think I’m a junkie!

Let’s agree that the term ‘Best’ does not belong in most food reviews. But be assured, FG is at least as good as any burger you have had. Reasonable, fast, no charge for toppings, great fries. fG has learned the two secrets of burger joints– use higher fat content fresh beef, and deep fry in tasty peanut oil.

Does anyone not know about Five Guys yet? Well, regardless… this is my co-go-to for burgers.(Jake’s is also great.) Gluten-free people can rejoice in the all-beef, no-wheat-filler burgers, which you shall of course order sans bun with any number of free toppings. Get ready for lots of grease. I believe the fries are also GF safe(I’ve never had a problem but don’t sue me). Very friendly service too. My only 2 constructive criticisms? I wish you could order a lower-guilt small serving of fries, because damn, you get a ton. I also wish Five Guys would put out bottles of apple cider vinegar for the fries, in addition to malt vinegar(a GF no-no). And sometimes the music is just really really loud.(I must be too old.) Yeah, so that’s 3. Oh, and make an iPhone app — ordering ahead is great.

Best burgers and handcut fries on Concord Pike, plus they give you a lot of extra fries in the bag. Keep the bag open if you order takeout so your fries won’t get soggy. I usually go for two little bacon cheeseburgers as all the regular burgers are double patties and are just a bit too greasy for me.

Came here because of the highway signs. Good food, good price. The guys working back there perhaps seemed a tad nicer than other places that I’ve been to in Northern Virginia, but maybe it’s the water in Delaware that makes people nicer. Nice big parking space!

If I have to eat a burger that isn’t grilled by my dad, then Five Guys does the job. Their fries are killer, their burgers are a tasty treat, and it’s a cheap date overall. Oddly, the thing I like best about Five Guys is that their staff is always genuinely friendly and cool. I don’t know what it is, but they seem to be pretty happy to work there. I dig that.

Avoid if you have a peanut allergy-they serve peanuts and cook in peanut oil. Great fries. They use hamburger buns to make grilled cheese sandwiches.

5 guys always provides a perfect burger, no matter which location I’ve been at. The locations in Wilmington are no exception. The only complaint I always have is the slow service, even when an order is called in. I’ll call in 30 minutes ahead of time and still sit 10 minutes waiting when I get there. A minor price to pay for such a good burger and fries, of course. :)

I had lunch here today, and I suddenly realized what gross neglect it has been to not write a review. The burgers — awesome. My readers know how I love an undercooked slab of beef, and everything here is well done, but somehow it stays tender and juicy. Get any toppings you want — the Bob special is pickles and jalapenos with ketchup. For a regular burger, they put two slabs on your bun, and its quite a mouthful. The fries — cooked in peanut oil, and as good as any Thrashers at the beach. And they give you LOTS. While you wait for your order, you get to fill your drink and wash it down with peanuts that you shell yourself. What could be better than that? The prices have risen over the years, and that’s about the only reason I can’t do five stars. This is a treat place for me, about every 2 – 3 weeks. Don’t worry, you can work it off in that time.

So the Cheeburger Cheeburger on Concord Pike bit it — can’t imagine that a calorie bomb house could fold in this economy, but luckily for me that meant trying Five Guys instead. The restaurant was small, but very clean. Despite the throng of kids that were dining there when I was. The staff were all incredibly friendly — almost alarmingly so. So refreshing. I loves me a burger — and I don’t get them often so when I do, I go all out.(Yeah, I downed TWO double-doubles at my last In-and-Out excursion.) So I ordered the burger with bacon, cheese, pickles, lettuce and mayo. It did not disappoint. I’m guessing that the way they manage to cook their burgers«well done and juicy» — as the sign above the register proclaims, is their use of(never frozen) about 60% lean ground beef. Because otherwise it’s impossible, right? The fries are hand cut, WAYWAYWAY better than In-and-Out’s — which isn’t hard to accomplish by the way — but yeah these were really good. And I love anyplace that has malt vinegar for them. Next time I’ll get the cajun spice — I was so googly-eyed over the pile of bacon on my burger I missed that option on the menu. So I will definitely put Five Guys at the top of the list — possibly jockey-ing for first with Cheeburger Cheeburger(in Malvern) for my go-to satisfy the burger craving joint.

When we want a reliably good burger and fries, Five Guys is the place to go.(They may be new to Delaware but I remember the original at Columbia Pike and Glebe Road in Arlington, Virginia.) True, it’s not the thick, juicy medium-rare burger Baby and I would get in a sit-down place but it’s still damn good. And the fresh cut and cooked fries are always great too.(Just avoid the Cajun fries — they’re overspiced and salty). Don’t expect a wide menu — it’s just burgers, fries, hot dogs, and soft drinks, nothing else(except for the free peanuts in the shell to munch on while you wait). That’s means no chicken, no fish, and no shakes to gum things up.
