Ever need some peace and quiet? I suspect that a few years from now, recording studios will dampen unwanted sound with a surplus of all in one printers and random office supplies. It’s like that snowy day with no cars on the road… so close to silence. I like it. The staff at this location seem to be very helpful and I have only had good experiences. Thankful they are close by and open late(ish). Perhaps I will start making up reasons to go copy things just to get some peace and quiet.

I had to write and give kudos to an employee that made my visit so pleasant and easy. Jason helped me with a copy job that I had to do. He took my pages and whipped up my copies in nothing flat. Stapled them and put them in a box to carry home. It might seem ordinary but I’m telling you, this guy worked hard to make me happy and to do it quickly. I loved his customer service. Thank you Jason, you made my night less stressful. :)

Aaron is a great manager and runs a very customer friendly store. I have had multiple problems with my printer and he has always taken care of it right away. I will never go anywhere else for office supplies.

Usually I wouldn’t think to review a big box store, but I think the staff at the Office Depot deserve some props. I am always fairly overwhelmed when I enter into one of these stores, but at the Wilsonville Office Depot the staff always comes to the rescue. They are helpful, always know exactly what I am describing to them and genuinely seemed pleased to help out. I think this kind of service is a rarity these days especially in a box store. So, here’s to you Wilsonville Office Depot Staff!

My sons’ teachers are trying to kill me. This is the thought that goes through my head with the start of every school year. And I feel fortunate to be exquisitely tortured by some fabulous ones. They work wonders in the classroom, but getting ready for the start of a new school year practically kills me. You see there are these things called supply lists. They vary from school to school, grade to grade, and even teacher to teacher. It is a scavenger hunt for grown-ups and not remotely fun. So my back to school shopping list goes something like this: 1) 24 sharpened pencils 2) 30 glue sticks — half must be Elmer’s brand and none may be colored. 3) Composition notebooks — Mead brand — 100 page 4) Ultra fine Sharpie markers It goes on and on. I’ve found it impossible to do all my shopping at one store(Freddie’s I’m looking at you), so every year I make an annual trip to Office Depot. Because as much as I dislike them for general purchases(computers, furniture, office supplies), they do a reasonably good job filling out some random items on my school supply list. But they don’t make it easy. Their racks are a mishmash of items and you can find something like markers in three or four locations. In the third place I checked, I finally found the allusive ‘ultra fine’ variety. Sharpened pencils come in packs of 18… gee, thanks! Guess I’ll be hand sharpening pencils for an hour. Mead composition notebooks are 80 pages, not 100. The whole process is ridiculous and I find myself completely stressed out before the school year even begins. I’m still trying to figure out if this is intentional and maybe teachers have hidden secret cameras at office supply stores across the metro area to monitor flustered parents. Hey, they need some laughs. So another year has started and the homework is already piling up. Our public school teachers are amazing so I forget all my frustrations by about week two of the school year. But next year, I think I’m going to let dad do the shopping. On a more serious note, this location is a bit of a puzzler. I have never seen more than two other customers in the store since it opened around five years ago. The staff always outnumbers the shoppers. Can’t for the life of me figure out how they are able to stay open since they have so little foot traffic.
