This is such a fun Farmer’s Market. Like others, they have the great selection of farm-fresh produce, gourmet foods, hand-crafted items, and some great food carts. What set’s it apart is the family-friendly atmosphere. I’m always amazed at the huge amount of folks who make coming to market their dining out and family outing experience. The Wilsonville Market is on Thursday’s from 4:00 to 8:00, so it fits well with dinner time. There’s also a fun array of drinks, with craft beer, local wine, and even some cocktails. Every week features live music to keep it festive. It is located in the heart of the Villebois neighborhood in Wilsonville. Great way to spend an evening.

Psh, Portland farmers markets are too«big box» these days! Lol, I kid. But if you do want a fantastic Farmers Market experience, you must head down to Wilsonville on Thursdays from 4 – 8 and check out the Wilsonville Farmers Market. There is live music all night long, a variety of farmers offering great produce, and awesome local shops and foodcarts eager to please. Not to mention, cooking demos as well! There are some really super awesome Market Volunteers to answer your questions or help carry your new goods to your car. For their opening, they were doing a raffle for free produce for the rest of the summer!(hint: I hear that may be happening next week too). So ya, you should check it out.

This is a nice little market — a mix of farmer’s market and neighborhood market, with crafts /soap /jewelry as well as produce, food stalls, musicians, etc. It’s also in a lovely little park. It looks smaller than it is at first — the park has a small pond, and a trail that goes around the pond; the stalls are spread all around the outside of the trail, so not all are visible from any one point of the market. The trail is paved, and wide, and not that long — it’s easy to navigate the market and not too crowded. I was disconcerted at first — I wondered where the farmers were at this«farmer’s market» — until I got to the part of the loop where they had all been clustered. Keeping like stalls together makes it easy to compare options and prices.
