Had the Monadnock Salad today ~ absolute best take-out salad I’ve ever had. Every bite was perfect — seriously! Marinated chicken, walnuts, cranberries, spinach. Y U M M Y!

My friend and I went here today for lunch and everyone working was super friendly. The food came out really fast after ordering and my calzone was delicous. I can always count on WHOP for a great and fairly inexpensive meal!

It is a simple pizza joint. Food is great. Décor is humble. Pizzas are made to order so take the usual amount of time for eat-in. Had an Adams Family Movie pinball machine, which pretty much sums up the whole well-worn, retro, unique joys vibe, which also includes small tables with your pizza served on a raised tray-stand so you can have plate space under it. Perfect for this Massachusetts visitor(and family) on the way home after a NH camping trip.

Sooooo delicious! And friendly service! Not your average pizza place. Amazing burgers too! I would recommend the Rodeo Burger with curly fries, you’ll be hooked. :-)

I’ve been coming here for years. They are always friendly, and the food is always good. Today we got a large chicken parm sub, and a spinach tuna wrap.

If you need help starting a fire… just light a match to the pizza! There is enough grease to lub the entire NHDOT fleet! Not impressed and will not eat there again!

Several weeks ago, I received a PM from the Owner to visit his«pizza heaven» at Wilton House of Pizza(WHOP). He probably saw my review of Milford House of Pizza(3 miles to the east), as I proclaimed that place the«best pizza west of Nashua» a statement I still stand behind. Italian style pizza crust is how I roll, y’all. Some of my all-time favorite pizzas have a doughy crust with the good toppings and cheese piled on. I didn’t travel far enough west to Wilton? Well, I have had pretty good pizza even further west in Peterborough, inside a bowling alley snack bar, 4 stars, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been to the other Wilton pizza shop on Main Street, which was pretty okay Greek pizza, so I decided to give WHOP a shot. WHOP has quite a solid menu offering traditional and specialty pizzas & calzones, appetizers, salads, grinders, wraps, sandwiches, chicken, pasta, and dinners. Hand cut fries were added to the menu recently. Coke products from the cooler are offered. The prices here are reasonable with most individual items under $ 10. The place is order at the counter with several tables in the cozy dining room with a CD jukebox and an Austin Powers pinball machine. There are several team photos on the wall of Wilton youth sports, sponsored by WHOP. There’s also outside seating in front. They also cater and there’s a photo album at the counter with pictures of catered food. While waiting for my food, I can read the Hippo and The Telegraph in the dining room. Okay, I actually made an initial visit to WHOP over the winter before I was PM’d and ordered the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo served with salad & baked garlic bread, which was pretty good and not too rich. I’ve been to WHOP several times over the past few months and I’ve pretty much stuck with the posted specials to keep things interesting. Most of the time, it was Paul who took my order and prepared my food. On the following visit, I came in and ordered a small Eggplant Pizza($ 6.00+$ 1.50 for the premium topping). The regular toppings are $ 0.75(sm pizza) and $ 1.25(lg pizza) each. The menu board does need an update indicating that Eggplant is a premium topping(and not a regular topping) and reflects the pricing in the new printed menu. Steak, chicken, & meatballs are the other premium toppings already posted on the board. The pizza was ready in 15 minutes. The eggplant pizza was very good with crisp eggplant slices and a tasty sauce and melted cheese. The thin crust was firm and folded up along the edges. On another visit, I ordered a special which was a Chicken Dijon Sandwich served with hand cut fries(added to the menu recently). This grilled sandwich on sourdough bread was excellent, which had a breaded chicken cutlet, lettuce, tomato, cheese, crisp bacon, a tangy dressing, and melted cheese. The hand cut fries were also really great, no more frozen fries here. I can go to Five Guys or come here for the hand cut fries. On my recent visit, I ordered the small Chicken Pesto Pizza($ 8.99 on special), which was loaded with grilled chicken, tomatoes, feta cheese, and pesto with pine nuts. This pizza was an excellent choice and had the good flavors of a gourmet chicken pizza. I would proclaim WHOP, the best pizza in Wilton area, hands down… The other menu items including the sandwiches and hand cut fries are the real hits with me, so I’m rounding up. What I’ll order next time will be a mystery, perhaps something on the specials board. Surprises are fun. I was a skeptic at first of finding great tasting food at a small town pizza shop, but this place has earned my business and I wasn’t disappointed.
