Pizza in Piazza was the downstairs place, and sadly, it’s closed now. This was a great place to take the kids on a Friday night — not just because they made a really good pizza, but because they had a full bar. That’s right, dads — Grey Goose martini, straight up with a twist. That’s exactly how I like my evening out with the kids. Seriously, it was a great place. The upstairs isn’t as friendly and inviting. Sad to see it leave, but really never expected they could make any money in that sized space turning tables on $ 12 pizza and the occasional a la carte dish.

Excellent pizza after a tasty salad. Friendly and helpful waiters. It appears the downstairs may no longer be opening and just the upstairs is open now. Either way, this is worth checking out.

After passing by this pizza place on a regular basis we finally decided to give it a try. The murals and décor are a bit over the top but it does create a fun atmosphere. We ordered the margarita and the Pizza del buonguastio which is a potato, proscuitto, rosemary, and gorgonzola pizzas. Both were quite good however, I preferred the margarita. The sauce was fantastic, crust crispy but not burnt, perfect amount of cheese and basil. The second pizza could have used less potato and more of the other toppings, but again, the crust was perfect. We ate them right up. We also ordered a canoli to split for dessert and were pleasantly suprised to find it was very similar to something you’d find in the North End. All in all, a very good pizzeria, great sauce, crust, toppings, good atmosphere, full bar with a decent wine list, and all reasonably priced. Not too much to complain about. We will definitely be returning.

Below average chicken parmigiana especially the quality of meat and nothing special sauce. First of all the location is in a really nice area with easy parking. Looks decent on the outside you go down below into the basement they have it made to try to make you feel like your in Italy like they do in the North End in some places. I see only two tables being served and my god I wait and wait and wait and mind you it’s dead in the place. I finally get a hold of her tell her what I want she doesn’t ring me up so I don’t know did she confirm she took the order no so I head the bathroom come back and again she is still at the two tables joking around and killing time. I had enough for a 7 minute transaction that took what like tripple that? No way these other reviews are legit I just can’t imagine. In any case save your hard earned money go elsewhere. To bad really nice town and area but bad service and as you know with me the quality of food just was ordinary well no to be honest a little below average.

The Pizza with Prosciutto salsa di fichi is great. White pizza(no tomato sauce), Prosciutto, cheese, with a bit of fig sauce. I really like this pizza place. My favorite in the area.

The pizza here is a must-try, the owner-chef used to have his own restaurant in Italy for many years. Here are the high-lights from my meal: Arancini = stuffed rice balls served with marinara sauce on the side. Crispy on the outside but creamy goodness inside Pizza with Prosciutto salsa di fichi = a wonderful sweet and salty pizza Pizza del buonguastio = potato pizza with italian bacon and gorgonzola I tried panna cotta for the first time, and it was served with fresh berries. I’m a believer now in this dessert dish! The Tiramisu was really good too.
