My daughter and I were craving Phở while on vacation, so after consulting Unilocal we decided to visit Phở and Deli. The Phở was amazing, and I had a red curry soup that was wonderful. And the portions were huge. Both people who waited on us were polite and helpful, so it was a great experience.

Visited Phở based on the reviews. Really wanted a Bahn Mi sandwich. Sat for 5 – 10 minutes. Listened to the Justin Bieber compilation being played thru the speakers. Yes, Justin Bieber. Server brought my water, I asked for the sandwich, and then was told that they didn’t have any bread. Considering that was all I wanted, I got up and left. Can’t say I’d be back. The fact the restaurant is besides a gas station, the employee playing Justin Bieber was has poor taste in music– I’d really have to be wanting something new to return.

Eight visits and counting! I’m submitting this follow-up review because this place really deserves attention! When my Japanese son-in-law visits the United States for seven weeks, FOURINSANFRANCISCO, and says this was one of the two most memorable places he visited, this sends a message corroborating my feeling that this place is truly special. For something really remarkable try the Kaud Poon Chiang Mai. This is a noodle dish that takes a curry based soup and adds both crispy noodles and rice noodles, vegetables, bean sprouts and hand pulled chicken with exceptional flavor. As even the soup base is made from scratch while you wait, expect about a 20 minute wait for it to come out and be prepared to have to return again and again.

This place was ok… It is actually ran by some Hmong people(i believe). The flavors are good and the food was nice. It just seems a bit off. Like they are trying to do food that they are not used to. I had the panang curry. You could tell it was homemade and it was good, just not a panang that you are used to. The same went for my wife’s phở. It is worth a shot and I will try it again when I am in that area, I just would not make a special trip for it!

This place is great. It’s phở is above average and the Bahn Mi was exceptional. I’ve had the phở here twice and both times I was satisfied. Don’t allow the exterior of the building stop you from eating here; it is one of the best phở places in my opinion. Also, the service is great and you can definitely feel the family vibe in the place.

First, let me say that I am SOOOO incredibly happy that there is a place to get phở and Bahn mi in Winder! My wife and I tried this place this morning. The food, while good, is nowhere near as good as the Vietnamese places we frequent around the Buford Highway area. If you’re used to really, really good phở and really, really good Vietnamese sandwiches, this place isn’t going to win any points with you on taste alone. Again, food is not at all bad — quite enjoyable — but not as good as other places. Now, what this place does have going for it is that it’s in Winder, so me and my fellow Barrow county residents in search of phở won’t have to go on a road trip to Norcross to get a quick fix. The staff is very friendly, which is not something other Vietnamese places are known for, or, at least the other restaurants we frequent. Also, they serve phở and bahn mi in the same location, which is awesome — because soup & sandwiches belong together. The shop is located next to a gas station, which kinda sucks, but that gas station is directly in front of Publix, so this is a good place to eat lunch and then go grocery shopping. They’ve just opened, so I imagine things will only get better. We will return, however, Phở Dai Loi and Huy’s Sandwiches are still my absolute favorites.

Love the food. Delicious! The food here is delicious and the workers are very friendly and attentive. Small place, sometimes hard to get A seat. Order to go or dine in. Grab A bite after pumping gas at Valero.

I really enjoyed my experience at Phở & Deli. The pork belly was delicious and spring rolls were fresh! I advise bringing your appetite because the portions are generous. Service was great too. The server was attentive and helpful. The only thing is it opens at 11:30 for lunch. So, if you are not a local be advised.

We were surprised to find a phở place in Winder and we were wowed by the friendliness of this family owned business. We had spring rolls which were fresh, delicious and huge. The peanut sauce was awesome. We shared the house special phở which is a Laotian version — the broth a bit sweeter. It was incredible. The big. very flavorful meatballs and chunks of delicious roast pork were incredible. We ended the meal with pineapple coconut boba tea made with fresh fruit. Fabulous. Don’t go for the atmosphere– it’s a little storefront next to a Valero station — go for the food. We can’t wait to go back!

I have been there twice with my family now and while its small and not much to look at the food is GREAT! The prices are fair and the service is good. I had my first PHO and it was great. I’ll be back for sure.

I ordered so much and it was all delicious! Can’t wait til it becomes even bigger! They only had 1 server at a busy busy lunch rush but it’s understandable since they’re such a new restaurant. Everything was worth the wait, I had a bowl of kapoon, it was not too spicy! I also ordered egg rolls which was as good as my moms back home and na vaj dessert, came in a adorable little cup lol. N we had phở kho but I was too full to try that n just gave it to my mom on the visit back home. However, I will definitely return on my next visit to winder!

This little restaurant is located right next to a gas station. Places like this I tend to avoid but my bf heard they had good Laotian food and insisted that we try it. The place is small and clean. The parking lot is small so if you eat with friends you should consider carpooling. This is my first time eating Laotian food and I have to admit that I was not very impressed. My boyfriend ordered a banh mi(a Vietnamese baguette sandwich) which he really enjoyed. I had a curry noodle soup(I don’t remember what it was called) but it was ok; it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t amazing. We also ordered a Papaya salad to share and I thought it was probably one of the worst papaya salad I have ever had. When the waitress brought it out she told us if the salad wasn’t good she would make us a new one… it was like she knew we would be disappointed. Overall I guess this place would be nice for people who wanted to Laotian food for the first time; since there aren’t many Laotian restaurants(that I know of). I don’t think I would go back though.
