I have been diagnosed with Celiac disease since January of 2007. Due to this diagnosis I have tried just about every gluten free product on the market, from the major brands such as Glutino, Udi’s, and Gluten Free Pantry to the store brands of Whole Foods and HEB. The Better Bread company has the most outstanding products I have eaten. Their rosemary dinner rolls are exceptional! Eaten cold or warmed they taste delicious. I have even crumbled them and used them as breadcrumbs in meatloaf making for a wonderful tasting dish! My only complaint: I can’t buy their products in Texas where I reside!

Better Bread Company makes delicious gluten free pizzas! My education is in dietetics and nutritions so a friend asked me for some suggestions for good gluten free foods when her son was diagnosed with a wheat allergy. I worked at Whole Foods many years ago and remembered that the selection of gluten free foods was somewhat limited. Not anymore! If found Better Bread Pizzas in the freezer section at my local Hannaford. I bought the Fresh Vegetable and the Margherita and both were fantastic. I served them to my kids and husband(none of whom have any gluten issues) and they loved them. They had no idea that they were wheat free. Not only did I recommend them to my friend, we have been buying them as well because they simply taste great and are very affordable. Give these pizzas a try

Have you ever tried a Gluten free diet? It is miserable. Wheat and Gluten is in everything!!! Last year I tried to go gluten free(trying to figure out what I was allergic to) and it was one of the most difficult things to do! The hardest areas to get good tasting grub was in airports. The other difficult place was finding good tasting pizza. I love pizza! Love it! So giving it up was just not possible. I needed to find a solution. I tried all the products out there and just about all of them tasted like eating pleather with tomato sauce. Slowly we found out what I was allergic too and I went back to stuffing my face with WHEAT and tasty gluten. BUT Just recently a friend of mine was diagnosed with Celiac disease. She told me about this company«Better Bread Company» and their pizza’s. I picked up a few this weekend and they were AMAZING. I could not even tell that they were gluten free. They are hand made frozen individual servings pizzas. There was just enough cheese and veggie’s on mine that I was shocked. I recommend picking up some of the products. If you need any other gluten free recommendations let me know and I will get you a list.
