Great place for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict which were excellent. The hash browns were really good, Simple, browned. Coffee was very good too. Staff really friendly, food came out quick and the value you can’t beat.

Good sandwiches. Terrible clam chowder… tasted like celery chowder. Would be good to add a clam or two.

I used to look forward to a nice thick sandwich from here, but when I went back there today for lunch I found they had raised the prices and became very stingy on the meat. Also they didn’t give me mustard on both top and bottom slices as requested. All around poor lunch experience means buh, bye Day Hill Deli!

Cute little place with excellent service! My food was brought to me within two minutes. I had a chicken salad wrap which hit the spot and a side of potato salad which was delicious!

We had a… BLT: not bad, not good Reuben: decent flavor, soggy/stale crust, good kraut Potato salad: dry potatoes, under seasoned. M&M cookie: best part. Moist, chewy Oatmeal and raisin cookie: soft, chewy, good Probably won’t go back, despite being close to my house.

I have been going here for coffee and breakfast sandwiches for three years now and it is my favorite place. The employees are personable and makes you feel at home there.

Ordered a sandwich for pick up 20 minutes before getting there as I was in a rush and wanted to stop in quickly grab my sandwich and leave and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I got to the deli, I told the clerk I was here to pick up and she said alright wait in the back of the line. So I ended up waiting in the back of the line for 5 minutes until I was up and then told the clerk I was picking up and told her my name and she then says oh okay we will make that right now. The sandwich was not even made and the order ticket was just lying on the table. It took them about another 10 minutes to finally make me the sandwich and extended the whole process to about 30 minutes in there. Very lackluster service that does not pay attention to detail. Food was average, nothing toasted. If you want to quickly pick up for somewhere this is not the spot.

To say they have 10 people in line, I got my wrap within 5 minutes of ordering EVERYTIME. They got my money everyday if i have to come back to KM training.

just had the most delicious reuben sandwich along with a cup of outstanding home made mushroom barley soup. no website… bare bones facebook presence… this is a no frills deli in the middle of corporate Windsor. The ladies who work here are all business but are extremely courteous and professional. portions are big… prices extremely reasonable… and everything is fresh and tasty. even some picnic tables outside on the sidewalk adds to the ambiance.

Great little deli. The people are always smiling and friendly. They are open at 6:00am for breakfast and the will deliver lunch. Prices are good and the food always fresh. If you work in the area you should try them.

A nice little deli with good sandwiches, soup and other bakery sweets. The service is very fast, with the average wait time from entering to getting your food about 2 – 3 minutes. The food is good but a little pricy, a basic sandwich will cost $ 6.75 and a wrap will cost $ 7.50 with an optional pickle. Adding a drink and chips to your order will easily bring your total to $ 10 for lunch. Still a good place to grab some lunch quickly in the area.

Was looking for a quick lunch in the area, and a salad was on my mind, so I stopped by the Day Hill Deli. The salad menu is lacking, but I didn’t ask if their sandwiches could be adapted. That in mind, I settled on a new item, their Chopped Spinach Salad with bacon, egg, and red onion. The service was relatively quick, especially given that it was right before noon, and I can see that the place could get busy during the lunchtime rush. For the $ 6.25 charged for my meal, I was a bit underwhelmed by the portion, but they weren’t stingy with the dressing, a refreshing change of pace from other establishments.

Wasn’t impressed. Staff could have been nicer. I went in 10 min before closing which as a former waitress understand the annoyance, but the attitude was unnecessary. Sandwich was mediocre and nothing I’d run back for. Turkey and veggies were fresh but the wheat bread was fresh out of the bag and very small. Seemed a bit pricey for what it was…$ 8 for a turkey & cheese sandwich and bottled soda.

Yum! This area is a wasteland when it comes to food options. There’s freaking NOTHING out here. WHY? So many hungry corporate types… so few choices… Stopped here at the recommendation of a good friend and was not disappointed at all. Had a fantastic ½ chicken salad sandwich and cup of Italian wedding soup with chips & pickle(a reasonable $ 6.25). The service was super fast, and very friendly. I’ll definitely give the bakery items a try next time I go in. There will definitely be a next time!

Just an average sandwich shop, if that. The portions are not that big, the prices can be a bit high(for the portion size), and I havent had anything here that was good enough to think about after eating it. I’ve had numerous sandwiches and soups here. Most the chicken sandwiches seem to be frozen breaded chicken patties heated up & a little soggy. The pulled pork and turkey bacon sandwiches are probably some of the better selections. The cookies and pastries arent all that great either. The cookies arent quite crispy or chewy… they are almost powdery and bland tasting, and like everything else, a bit expensive for a little cookie. I’m sure Ill end up here again a few times, but it will be for convenience, not for a good meal.

I work nearby and stop here regularly. Service has always been very good. Selection is vast, quality is consistently high, pricing is very reasonable. Sandwiches and salads of every description and a few very good soups. You really can’t go wrong here. Sure beats the franchised lunch places

While temporarily working in Windsor’s corporate area for the past two months, it astounds me how FEW restaurant choices are to be found. I mean, there are companies, filled with hungry employees, lining this street for miles. Anyone who opens a lunch spot here will surely make bank. Clearly, no one else has seen what I see, because there is a severe shortage of good food around here. However, Day Hill Deli is a bright spot in what can only be called a desolate restaurant wasteland — fresh sammiches at a decent price in a just a few minutes time. I’ve had their turkey, chicken and veggie choices and loved each of them. They have salads and soups too — all at decent prices, with friendly service to boot. They get busy around the noon hour(which is to be expected), but it’s worth the short wait.

Real basic sandwich/donut shop. They have a large variety of stuff but none of it is really good. The turkey, cheddar, bacon panini has a slice of bacon grilled onto the outside of the bread. Cool looking, but not quite there in flavor. The bacon just tricks you inot thinking the sandwich is going to be good. The clam chowder was definitely hand made! A lot of dill but still good. I mean a LOT of dill.

Hi All, I go here regularly for lunch… as do tons of people. Sometimes the line is out the door… however, the staff is so exceptional, that they pump out quality sandwiches/lunch super fast so the line moves rapidly. They are a small deli in the Day Hill Shopping Center. They have several tables to eat at after you order from the counter, thus there isn’t any wait staff. The ladies behind the counter again provide excellent quick service and are quite beautiful too(but that is just an extra bonus). They specialize in paninis, wraps, sandwiches(no hoagies/wedges/subs — wherever you are from, you decide what to call it– but they dont have it) They also have salads and soup. I havent ordered hot platters, but I have seen chicken parm sandwiches being offered. I dont believe they are open for dinner… just breakfast and lunch. There is also outdoor seating. You can get food to go as well. They also accept orders on the phone to pick up. $ 9 gives you a great sandwich, chips, pickle and a drink. Great place… i gave it four stars, so as i go, if they get even better, I can give them a 5th star. — MSZ
