Delicious lunch today. Quick service with chips, salsa and spicy bean dip brought to the table. Followed up with Carne asada lunch plate; meat cooked to order. Meat was tender accompanied with rice, beans, guacamole, salsa and tortillas. Clean and attractive inside the restaurant. Server was prompt with little wait for the order to be brought to our table. There was enough time left over for me to select flan as my dessert choice, which was topped with some whipped cream. I will return and recommend to friends and family.

Had the fajita burrito and it was very good! The fajita sauce/seasoning was very unique and gave it a slightly different taste then other traditional fajita flavors. Food came out hot and in a timely manner and everyone in our party was very satisfied. Good atmosphere and great service helped to make the experience exceptional. Will make it a point to come back to this restaurant the next time we visit the Fort Collins area.

Stopped by in Fort Collins for a dinner with my family and my boyfriend. The servers and staff seemed upset the whole time, no smiles, no you’re welcome or anything. The food was pretty good, I’ve had better Hispanic food but this was nice, had a fresh flavor. The tacos al carbon was stellar if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to fajitas which run for 20 bucks for two peeps. Overall the food was good but the service could be better. If you are looking for good Hispanic food with subpar service this is the place to go, but trying to make conversation or get a return smile is hard to come by here. :)

Yummy salsa and chips! Good service and tasty eats. Solid Mexican comfort food selection. Refreshing margaritas. Significantly better than what we found in downtown Denver.

Being from Southern California, I was looking forward to eating Mexican food. However, the overpriced food is sub-par. Total disappointment. I just need to get back to so cal. But hey at least it’s better than taco johns.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Northern Colorado. I have ordered takeout and have dined in. Service is always fast and I find the art work interesting. I love the bean dip served with the chips and salsa. If you like it spicy, ask for the hottest salsa, it is HOT. There is a large selection of traditional Mexican food. Many different burritos with different meats and sauces. The pork verde burrito is one of my favorites. I don’t drink so can’t comment on that. I think the prices are in line with the whole experience. I will be back again.

I am pleasantly surprised by the food here. It is a little on the pricier side for a venue such as this. However, the food was good. All of it. They started me out with fresh made chips and salsa. I asked for hot sauce and they brought me a bowl of fresh hot salsa. Wasn’t what I was going for but good nonetheless. Along with the usual complementary salsa came a bowl of been bio which was tasty as well. Then I ordered the chicken chimi and beef enchilada lunch combo. It came with beans, rice and guac salad. Everything was good and prepared fresh. I will be back.

Service + food = meh. My go-to entrée at Mexican restaurants(when nothing on the menu catches my eye) is the fish tacos. They’re usually dairy free and a pretty good stand-by in case of vegetarian option menu fail. BUT. I should have asked. With no(minimal?) description of them on their menu, really — I should have asked. It’s my fault. They’re covered in cheese. Arg. Pueblo Viejo, please create some dairy free options that don’t include 80% coverage of refried beans. It has been done. I believe in you. Love, My Gut Hurts

Service was polite and responsive — no errors on order. Nice warm chips with excellent salsa. Fajita salad was superb. Fish tacos good but will request flour tortillas next time. Definitely true Mexican food without being Americanized.

WE split the fajitas for two. They had a weird sweet sauce on them like a Teriyaki and so we thought they were below average. Portions were big though and we took ½ home. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was festive. You won’t find bargain alcohol here, a bottle of Bud Light is $ 3.50. I didn’t care for the soupy bean dip they bring with the chips. I think I would try another Mexican restaurant before I went back but we should try other things before we can make a definitive opinion.

Good stuff here! Service was amazing from start to finish. Whether it was more drink, salsa or time for check, they were on it! Food was really good also. My beef enchiladas were very tasty and I will definitely be back. Ask for them to spice up the green chili for you. :) Only recommendation would to go easy on ground beef seasoning. It was a red/orange color and was heavily seasoned.

Just stopped in to take a break from driving and have a quick bite. Was really surprise at how good it was. Great flavors and the right amount of heat. Don’t pass it by!

This place serves our favorite Mexican food in the area. They serve salsa and refried beans with their chips, which we love. My mom likes the mole here better than other Mexican places around here that we have tried. I always love the standard combos — enchiladas are my favorite and my husband loves the tamales. The service has always been prompt and very friendly, from start to finish, and their décor is beautiful!

No sangria was a let down, but Margaritas were ok, not great but decent enough. No real(or fake) enthusiasm in the greeting, or serving, the folks here were practically robot-like in their interaction with our party of four. Promptly greeted and served though. The food was about average, customary Mexican restaurant style items prepared as they are at thousands of other restaurants, enjoyable enough but not special. I was here three years ago and the experience was eerily similar between then and now(different tables, can’t say for sure about the staff). So why go here, some members of my family really like it here, and choose this place.(I suspect it is for their 2 for 1 margarita coupons, as much as than the food or service)

On my quest for good Mexican in Fort Collins, I stopped in to Pueblo Viejo, hoping to be impressed. I was under the impression that this was an authentic Mexican restaurant similar to others I’ve loved. It may well be authentic, but the food isn’t very flavorful. I had a chicken enchilada with rice and black beans, and it was some of the blander food I’ve had. I realize that the recipes are likely adapted to fit the tastes of wimpy Americans, but I like my Mexican food with a little kick! I wasn’t offered any additional salsa, either. The rest of my party also felt that the food was«just okay.» On the plus side, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive.

I’m not sure we were even in the same restaurant as other reviewers. We got a cool(as in not warm) greeting at the door and the service for the rest of our visit was only marginally better. House margaritas were so-so as was the food. Our combo plates were both over ten dollars, making this less than a value. Sorry, we won’t be back.

Delicious Mexican food in a little strip of stores right where you would never suspect it. I only wish I were in the Denver area enough to make this a regular spot.

My co-worker took me to this place while I was at our colorado office. It’s a little hole in the wall 2 exits north of the loveland exit in a tiny strip mall… a real find I would have never encountered had I not been led there. Summary: The place is legit. I had enchilada suizas(green sauce) and a carnitas taco. The chips and salsa are made in house, and the food was perfect and delicious. Having spent much of my adult life in AZ, I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to Mexican food, and this place did not disappoint. I thought about it for 3 or 4 days afterward!!!
