The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the eggplant and chicken and my husband had the combo noodle soup. Very generous portions. All good!

Visiting from San Francisco and decided to try this place after reading the great reviews and looking at the yummy pictures. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was very salty for our taste and my son ordered a kid’s pork over rice plate which was very dry. A big plus is that so far no feeling of MSG-​effect and 4 – 5 hours after eating there. This place is adequate for area.

I rarely give a fifth star. I just dined here once, but it was very good.
I ordered the Phở that was the best ever! The spring rolls were delicious.
The owners are very friendly and attentive. I watched other patrons orders delivered to the table and based on appearances, I think you cannot go wrong on any menu item.

Excellent family owned restaurant. The Phở is very tasty with real pieces of chicken. The services is really good too. I really enjoy eating here since it is family owned and the cooks are Vietnamese so you know you are getting the authentic thing. Highly recommend the Phở and Fried rice. My daughter enjoys coming here too since they offer a good kids menu.

Amazing pad thai! Called in for lunch and ate there. Very spicy but that good type of spiciness. Nice amount of food for the price with quick and nice staff.

I had the vermicelli with shrimp, pork and egg roll. It was delicious. Very generous serving. Great service. I’ll definitely visit next time I’m in town!

Found this restaurant while exploring Windsor. The food was ok but way too salty! And I like salt! The service was extremely poor and we kept getting room temp water served to us. To top it off we left the restaurant and forgot a bag of candy we bought from the candy store down the street. We returned not 5 minutes later and they claimed they had never seen it. I asked if they accidentally threw it away and the 2 servers played dumb. My daughters were so sad. I hope the servers enjoy the candy.

This is pone of my favorite places to eat in Windsor. I went a few days ago and it didnt disappoint like usual. I had the beef stew and it was great. It had really good seasoning a flavor to it and the beef was cut into perfect bit size pieces. The server was really nice too seemed to know a lot about the menu and was very helpful

Tried this place for the first time. I thought it was very good. I had the #24, that was a generous portion of lettuce, cool rice noodles, ground peanuts, pickled cucumber & carrot, very yummy grilled chicken, grilled shrimp and a tasty egg roll. Add some hoisin sauce and I was in heaven. Very light, fresh, delicious combination. The atmosphere was casual family dining. Very nice attentive wait staff. For a busy Friday night we waited about 3 minutes for a two top table. The price of our meal was very reasonable. I definitely will be back soon.

I travel all over and I am often in wine country so I have had the opportunity to go to a lot of restaurants in the area. It is definitely a family run place with very attentive service and the owners are super nice.
This place is tough to rate so I’ll break it down for you. Service: 5 stars, Ambiance: 3 stars, OK but a bit stark, Food: 4 stars — good food and large portions and a good value, Presentation: 3, the presentation is equivalent to what you would get at a diner.
My take: If you are looking for a quick meal, are with a large family group, or are looking for take out then this place works. If you are looking for a bit of a dining experience than this is not for you.

Been here twice now… not sure why I forgot to review it the first time. It’s not for lack of quality, though. Read on!
The first time I visited Saigon Bistro, I got the combination Phở, which was excellent. It easily rivaled the best Phở places I have visited in Sonoma County (Phở Vietnam in Santa Rosa, for example). I remember the service being good, but not quite as good as this time.
Today my wife and I visited for a late lunch and ended up ordering a couple of plates to share. First up were the shredded chicken spring rolls. While the chicken wasn’t really shredded, it was still OK. The rolls were a little bland, and very dry on the outside. I wish they had put more veggies in them, but the insides were just romaine lettuce. The peanut sauce was excellent and I couldn’t get enough of it. Also, the rolls came out very quickly.
By the time we were finished with the rolls, the pork Pad Thai we ordered arrived. The waitress told us it’s a different style from Thai-​made Pad Thai, and that the tamarind sauce is made from scratch at this restaurant. It was indeed a bit different from the Pad Thai I’m used to, but not in a bad way. Just different. Slightly less sauce, and less sweet. Great proportions of pork, noodles, carrots, sprouts, and peanuts.
Again, I have to hand it to them for great service. All around a 4-​star experience. Nothing that will absolutely blow your mind, but solidly good food.

Best restaurant in windsor usually not too crowded. Excellent service every time all meals I have ever had have been fantastic. The pad Thai is outstanding as well.

Vegetarian Review.
I stopped here with my friend for dinner while driving back to Sacramento from Humboldt County. I love Vietnamese food and was excited to see that this place had a 4.5 star average on Unilocal.Unfortunately, this place could do better when it comes to their vegetarian selection.
First of all, there is no vegetarian broth available here, so you won’t be able to order phở if you are vegetarian. They have three dishes listed on a vegetarian subsection of the menu, but when I was asking about them, they asked if fish sauce was okay. While the service I got was friendly and my server was trying to be accommodating, I was disappointed to hear that even the «vegetarian» dishes seem to come with fish sauce and you have to make a special request for them not to use it.
Luckily, they did have Vegetarian Fresh Spring Rolls on the appetizer section of the menu and I was able to get a double order of this as my dinner. The fresh rolls tasted pretty good, but were not good enough to go out of my way for again given the other limitations of the menu for someone who is vegetarian.
I don’t regret checking this place out, but I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon either.

This is a great family run restaurant across from the town green. The selections are plentiful and we’ve never had anything but wonderful food there
Recommendations: Fresh Spring Rolls for appetizer, Barbecued Pork Ribs, Pad Thia, or Phở for the main course and the «Flan» is a rich and creamy dessert.

I had #32, a Lemongrass chicken rice plate. My friend had #41, a Combination fried rice. We share half and half. They both excellent. Just love it.

I just moved to Sonoma County and have phở at least once a week. I’ve tried a few places in Santa Rosa that are good, but this is a gem amd my new go to place. The ambiance is quaint, elegant and cozy. It is a family run business that treats you like family — in a good way! Genuine, friendly and engaging. It’s a cold rainy night, so I only ordered the phở, but it is perfect. The broth is rich and flavorful, the garnish is fresh and abundant. And the prices are great! I just love it here!

The best phở I’ve ever had! No shortcuts in cooking this one. Every bite I took was very flavorful. The beef broth is so tasty, on scale 1 to 10… I give it a 10+. The owners and staff are like family. They treat everyone that walks in the door as family. Ambiance is very uplifting, positive and cheerful. not noisy and loud. Wether you wanna take the whole family out or have a romantic dinner, this place is where to go. Very very clean and the owners are all about healthy lifestyle so you know you’re getting the freshest ingredients and fresh prepared foods.

This place is fantastic. Food is wonderful, wait staff upbeat, friendly and helpful.
Had the traditional spring rolls pork and shrimp then a large bowl of beef phở. And of course a Thai Iced Tea, made fresh.
Was able to take a nice walk in the park across the street after dinner. Wish I was in town more often.

So happy to have this spot near work! Not only are the owners/​staff super friendly, but everything Ive tried here is absolutely delicious. Curry Chicken, Pineapple Chicken, Spring rolls, Beef Phở, and my favorite Chicken Phở.
I have the Chicken Phở with Veggies atleast once a week. Cant live without it! Soooo good. Honestly, the best Phở Ive ever had.
The medium size is more than enough and Im a big eater.
Go now. Seriously. Its so good!

I have been to this restaurant three times with various friends and coworkers for lunch and each time has been wonderful! The food is always fresh and flavorful. All of the staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions for things you may like.
On my original visit I thought I was ordering lemongrass chicken soup (I failed to read that it was beef) and our waitress was super kind offering to replace it. I declined because the beef looked spectacular and it absolutely was! My favorite is the various bun and I love their hot chili oil that you can add to the peanut sauce or dressing for the bun to make it spicy.
This is a great lunch spot and I wish them nothing but success! I just hope they don’t get so packed I can’t get a table next time I stop in!
