Always loved Arby’s, my favorite high school lunch spot(2 chicken cordon bleu’s, no cheese or sauce and cheese sticks… this was before transplant when I could eat anything and everything). Sadly, they closed up shop.

The food here was as good as any Arby’s. The curly fries were extra crispy, much better than other Arby’s I’ve visited. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I did notice there was no ubiquitous bell that customers can ring when they are happy with the service. I told the girl at the counter I would’ve rung it if I could.

I’ve driven past this Arby’s many, many times since I’ve moved to Winnemucca. I don’t know if it is the tucked back location or the fact that I just never think of Arby’s when I think of fast food, but I had never gone in before today. The only reason I went in today was because I had printed off a free milk shake coupon. I went in at around 1pm or so and it was absolutely dead. I felt like I must have been their only customer of the day, with the manager saying something to the effect of «Oh, it’s a sad day for Arby’s». I got the beef and cheddar sandwich to go along with my free chocolate shake. Being that I was the only person in Winnemucca looking to eat at Arby’s today, the sandwich didn’t take long to get into my hands. As for the food, the shake tasted fine, but it didn’t look all that great. It looked like a vanilla shake with some chocolate additive that was barely mixed in. The sandwich also tasted fine, but considering the severe ability for the staff to have put together the sandwich in an orderly fashion, it looked like they had just thrown the ingredients at the bun from 5 feet away. The meat was all off to one side and the cheese was mostly off to the other and coating the inside of the wrapper. I don’t feel bad for not having this Arby’s over the last 9 months or so and I feel like the only times I’ll be back is when I can get another coupon for something free.
