Valentino’s New York Pizza

We ordered a White Knight Pizza which is basically a white pizza. I was somewhat underwhelmed when we got the pizza. It’s decent pizza, but I don’t think I’ll be eating there again when I know I can get better elsewhere.

Ok so I’m giving them a one star just because the food is great. Today I had the worst experience in my life with any pizza parlor ever. I ordered pizza, wings and fried chicken I had company over and decided I wanted them to taste it. We ordered it paid with credit card over the phone and next thing you know 15 to 20 mins later they called to verify my credit card info all over. Why after so long? I don’t know? Then 40 to 50 mins later (after the whole credit card verification phone call) we get a call stating our pizza delivery man was here. I go outside to wait for him (take in mind it’s freezing outside) after waiting for 15 mins or so My wife receives a call from the pizza man stating he is at the laundry mat which is like 2 buildings down and asked that we walk over there? What’s the whole point of delivery right? We then called the Pizza Parlor letting them know that we have been waiting outside for more than 15 mins now at this point. And to our surprise what happens next will shock you… The employee who answered the phone advise us the the delivery man left, then accused us of lying about our order stating we were just playing games. I couldn’t believe it. Then after explaining to him that we were not playing any games he then tells me that he can have him come back in another 20 mins. I don’t know about you but I definitely don’t like the taste of cold food. When I tried to explain my frustration with him he later rudely asked me if I wanted the food or not. After going through all this trouble and seeing he didn’t even recognize their mistake we cancelled our order. Not once did they apologize. I will definitely not order pizza from there ever again!

This place had mixed reviews so I gave it a try. Ordered pepperoni and mushroom with some buffalo wings for delivery. There was nothing good about this meal. Everything on the pizza was bland and the sauce was too sour for my taste. The skin on the wings was soggy while the meat underneath was dry. If this is supposed to represent what pizza tastes like in New York I won’t be trying it if I ever go.

Worst Margarita pizza ever! Aside from the fact it should be fresh basil, this looks & tastes like the cap to the container fell off onto this pizza.

I’ve been coming here with my friends for the last 3 years and they NEVER disappoint us ! Great pizza ! And great customer service ! Definitely recommend this spot… Delicious!!!

We always come here to eat authentic tasting pizzas ! The pizzas are out of this world. I can tell this as I have eaten pizzas from all over the world and I must say Vantino’s fall to best pizzas I have ever eaten list!
Well apart from great pizza and fantastic customer service the owner is such a wonderful person the he goes out of his way to make his customer feel comfortable!!!
My vehicle had car problem right in front of his restaurant once and I had to leave it there overnight, what he did to make us feel safe about leaving our vehicle there overnight and being so helpful was just great! So here goes 5 stars for the fantastic pizzas they make and 5 stars for being a great human !!

We had delivery, deep dish pepperoni, thin crust, Honey bbq wings, mozzarella sticks, shrimp platter with fries.
Taste was not that spectacular, did not excite my taste buds, the crust on the deep dish was very hard on some pieces, marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks is way to salty. Bbq wings was not crispy at all, like if they were not cooked long enough and then they just threw some bbq sauce on them. The food was edible, just not the top of line type of pizza. Felt like there was no care in preparing the food especially for the type of prices they ask for.: (

I will admit the food is not bad, but the customer service is horrible.
I ordered food from them online and when the delivery guy showed up, he called me from no caller ID, which I answered the phone both times with no answer on the other end. I called the store numbers at least 4 times with no answer. When I had to go up to the car that I suspected was the delivery, in the rain, he told me he had to close the shop to deliver… so why give me no way to reach you if I am trying to get my order. On top of that I am disabled and had been waiting… if the driver had stepped out of the car and/​or paid attention to his surroundings this would not have happened! Then he said it was my fault! I answered every call he gave me!!! Will never order again!

ThIs The Worst Place I Have Ever Ordered Food From. I Ordered Delivery from this place at 8:59pm and the dude called me and said his delivery guy was gone for the night and that they wouldn’t be able to fill the order in the rudest manner ever. Than after he rudely hung up on me, he continued to call and harass me for an hour. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN.

Food here is probably good in the restaurant but delivery was just terrible, ordered a small pizza with no onions and it seems like they put more onions then they normally would. Pizza was cold and just tasted bland. The sub I got had the wrapping paper all stuck in the cheese so I couldn’t even eat that. Lastly the fries were soggy and a little gross to be honest. So I spent 30 bucks on something I had 3 bites out of. Sad sad sad

Ok. Was looking through what felt like 50 pizza places nearby because my son and I were on a mission. I found some places were overpriced so I thought of coming here since it had the 1 $ sign on it and it got pretty good reviews. I walked up to the location and the pizza guy and the clerk/​manager from the liquor store were hanging out in front, and the liquor store guy was smoking while the restaurant door was open. He saw that my son and I were walking towards the pizza place and walked away. The pizza guy let us go in first and I asked to close the door and he told me it would get hot inside because of the baking and I said it smelled like smoke and the guy was smoking. He insisted by pointing outside that the guy was not there smoking and I was already erked by his reaction about it. Either way, I was going to take the pizza Togo because of his attitude then I saw that there was a checkin special for a free soda on a purchase for $ 15 or more dine in only. When I told him I checked in, he said that it was online order only. I showed him the special which is still on Unilocal btw, and he left me hanging for 5 minutes looking up something on the computer. Then came back and asked which soda I wanted and kept telling me that he never saw that before, or it might have been posted from last week. Nontheless, it’s a soda for goodness sake. I spent $ 17 on just the pizza alone for a ½ veggie ½ cheese MEDIUM pizza. 1 $ sign??? Really!!! I left with the pizza and thanked him. Came home and my son loved it. I was not blown away, as well as, there were way too many onions on the veggie side. So much that after one slice I proceeded to take some off on one slice and this is how much came off the one slice. The crust was thin and crispy, almost sweet too. I would say, there are too many pizza places to choose from and it’s pretty competitive. I will not be trying this place again.

This is one of my favorite spots to come to for hero sandwiches. Valentino’s New york Pizza is a favorite little valley spot of mine in the valley where I can get delicious sandwiches, and a slice of pizza. I usually come here for their chicken Parmagiana Hero sandwich and a slice of their new York pizza. I am a regular here and I come in at least twice a week for a slice of pizza and a hero sub. Everything I have tried here is delicious and there are still many things I haven’t tried, but I’m sure are good.
The environment inside is also comfortable and the owner is really nice but I usually get it for delivery. Valentino’s is the best for hero subs and new York pizza! You have to try out this spot if you are in the area, looking for a bite! The manager and the owner of this place is also very friendly.

There are not many places that truly have a new York pizza, but Valentino’s in Winnetka matches that bill. I love coming to Valentino’s as the portions for the pizzas are very generous and they have many different choices in items. They also have really good buffalo wings, BBQ ribs a la carte, NY gyro combo, Hero subs, and more. The chicken parmagiana hero is the best sandwich in town! Give Valentino’s a shot if you are picky about New York Pizza and if you love hero subs. Valentino’s is the best place to get pizza in Winnetka and Canoga Park! Always fresh and always delicious!

I ordered on eat24 & got my order in 30 mins, with no trouble. The driver was really nice & offered to help me bring the food inside as he could see i’m pregnant.

veggie pizza
the fries were nice, potatoey, crisp and not overly salty. The cheese sticks were also very nice. the other items were good but I’d prolly just get the fries and cheese sticks next time, as it was very generously portioned. The onion rings are slightly sweet onion, which i like a lot.
so, the pizza was tasty, plenty of flavor. I’d have liked more olives and a lot less tomato but it was still good.
I’d defo order from here again, the food is reliable as is the service.

Given that they have the best New York Pizza I’ve ever had I want I wanted them to deliver all the way to Calabasas and they did. Most places probably won’t deliver that far but because this place is so awesome and they have the best New York Pizza they do deliver all the way to Calabasas to where I’m living. That’s freaking awesome

They have really really good New York pizza.
The extra large is the biggest pizza I’ve ever seen. My whole family loves the sauce and when I got only one box with extra mushrooms and cheese it’s really good value.

My friend and I ended up going to Valentino’s for a quick pizza. But while we were getting ready to order we noticed some of the people were eating calzones and gyros. So we tried those. At first I was a little skeptical that the calzone wouldn’t be very good. Also got the Vegetarian Pizza and hmmmm delicious!
It was actually beyond my expectations. I had gotten the medium combo with fries and soda to go with it. And even though I could barely finish the fries with how full I was, I wanted another calzone and more slices of the vegetarian pizza. My friend ordered bbq chicken and it was alright, still prefer to vegi pizza though.
What made it so great was the extra order of ricotta cheese for even more cheesy goodness. For my friend, she got the gyro and liked it a lot. I picked some of her meat and it was so well cooked. The service was great and we really enjoyed sitting in Valentino’s eating our food.

Pizaa is A-​OK good. Delivery was quiet fast. A large pizza will cost you about $ 17.00 with tip. The only thing I didn’t like about this place, they don’t have you on record. So, you always need to give them your address. Old fashion system.
Thin greasy crust. They always forget to add Parmesan cheese on the side. Ask before you hang up on the phone.
