The best Thai food in Vermont! They have a wide menu, from the approachable pad thai to Thai street dishes I haven’t seen served outside of big cities. A rarity for VT, their food spiciness level can be adjusted way up or down(although by default, most dishes weren’t very spicy), and if its still not hot enough, you can always ask for the«spice tray.»

Great Thai food at a reasonable price. The lunch specials are a great deal! This is the only place in the area where I can find a truly spicy dish. I am in love.

Good food, but it’s pretty annoying that multiple times now I have ordered vegetarian dishes that ended up with meat in them.

$ 10 for lunch. Pad See Ew with Tofu(could have chicken instead). I love the broad flat rice noodles. The dish is flavorful, and came with a veggie spring roll side(other options available) and salad. It’s a good portion size for lunch and the price.

I really wasn’t prepared for how mindblowing this experience would be. We walked in on a whim at 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were one of three occupied tables in the place. The server and host were quick and friendly. And then the food came. As we sat over our outstanding bowls of tom kha and tom yum, and super-spicy entrees of crispy pork belly with bamboo shoots and ground pork with fried egg(both with fried basil leaves on top), we kept whispering profanity-laden praise across the table to each other with tears in our eyes. «It’s so fucking flavorful!» «This is so spicy, my scalp hurts.» «This is the spiciest food I’ve had in Vermont.» «This is spicier than my mom’s cooking!» «I need to go back through all my Unilocal reviews and make all my 5-stars into 4-stars, because this is the only real 5-star food I’ve had in like… years.» «This is better than the Thai food I had in Thailand. What the fuck.» «Oh my god, the egg is perfect. Look at this yolk!» «My mouth is on fire but I can’t stop eating crispy pork belly. I may cry.» «Out of happiness or spiciness?» «Both.» We were able to finish our small bowls of appetizer soup and half of each entrée before reclining in our chairs, sweating and laughing deliriously. We had leftovers and the price was just right. The soups were magical(maybe because we’re both starting to feel colds coming on, or maybe it is really just THATGOOD) and I’m going to think about my spicy crispy pork belly whenever I’m lost or sad. I’m so glad we tried items from the authentic Thai dishes selection on the back of the menu rather than our usual standbys of red curry and pad thai. We’re both determined to go back and try the other entrees with our own cold beers in hand.

Delicious! The best part of this place is BYOB and no corking fee. The food is great, fairly inexpensive and they give you a good portion. My favorite dish is the eggplant special with an extra side of fried eggplant on the side. It’s my go-to dish!

Tiny Thai has been my go to local Thai food establishment for years. I’ve tried most of the dishes on the menu, but always come back to the red curry with shrimp. If you like a bit of spice and savory goodness it’s definitely worth a try! I typically get the ginger iced tea to balance out the initial spiciness. I see most people play it safe with the pad Thai, but don’t be afraid to try one of the traditional Thai dishes on the back of the menu or one of the curries, they are terrific!

What’s not to love about Tiny Thai? You can BYOB, the price is right, and the food hits the spot. It can be tough to get a table at this place on a Friday and Saturday night, so be prepared to wait or come early. If you want to miss the traffic, consider coming for lunch when the specials give you a whole lot more for your money(a drink, a side, and a main all for under $ 10). Recommendations: –Chrysanthemum/Ginger Iced Tea –Spring Rolls –Param Long Song(non-spicy peanut dish for those who don’t want to set their mouths on fire) –Green Curry with Shrimp(when available)

The staff seated us immediately. The facility was very clean. The waiter was personable. Beyond these standard traits of a good restaurant I was immediately pulled into the ‘authentic thai’ options in the back of the menu. They were simple, flavorful, and well crafted. I recommend the soup!

BYOB! I live in CO and I have never been to a place where you can bring your own beer and wine. They supply you with wine and beer glasses. The staff is very very kind and the food is even better. The dinning room is small but it is a place to go to if you are in town!

I travel from New York every week to Burlington, VT for my work. This restaurant is located right next to my office. I love the food and portions too. Living in Manhattan, I explored lot of restaurants and cuisines. I don’t expect this place to be that standards which is not, overall it’s good. I just want to the business owner know that they are loosing lot of customers from my office because of their credit card policy(only 2 for the table). Sometimes we want to come here but we choose different restaurant just because of this policy. We travel here for work, according out company policy it’s hard for us to expense it to the company if one person pay for 2 people(I’m talking about when we come here in groups, which we always do). I hope they will change the restaurant policy soon and can get more customers :)

Tiny Thai is a great place to go for lunch. Perfect portions and lots of combinations to choose from. The service is fast but sometime there can be a wait. The lunch trio is affordable and gives you an option for an appetizer, a main dish, a side salad, and a drink. I got a chicken Tom Yum soup, Pad Si Ew, and a homemade ginger iced tea. Their ginger ice tea is REALLY gingery, beware! I love ginger, so that was not an issue for me. Their dinner portion are larger, lunch portion are just perfect for the lunch time. Definitely a place I will regularly visit!

My friend and I enjoyed our brunch. I live for delicious Tom Kha on a cold winter day. The coconut milk, galangal and lime juice opened up my palate! I usually go for Pad Thai when I’m in a rush but this time I had the Khao-Pat Bhoo… Fried rice with lump crab meat, egg, onion, chopped carrot, pea, corn and cilantro. Served with ‘Nam Pla Prik’ sauce, sliced tomato, cucumber, cilantro and a chunk of lime. Delicious. My friend ordered the Suki Hang which was supposed to be medium-spicy but he sweat! Sweat in a good way! We brought our own bottle of Prosecco for mimosas, and thank goodness! It was a perfect pairing. Suki Hang is a street-style dish stir-fried glass noodle with shrimp, squid, bay scallop, egg and assortment of vegetables (spinach, napa cabbage, celery and scallion) in Thai sukiyaki sauce. — I had to help him finish it… My Khao-Pat with lime and a sip of mimosa made a brilliant chaser/combo… We’re going back and exploring the menu some more!

Tiny Thai has a very small and private feel to it. The interior is cute and very roomy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming alongside its employees. I had the spring rolls for the appetizer. The rolls weren’t like traditional spring rolls where you can see the inside. They looked and tasted exactly like egg rolls. They were also steaming hot that I burnt my mouth. For my meal, I stuck with probably the most well known Thai dish which was the Pad Thai. The portion was huge! I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and creamy the peanut sauce was. Also the noodles were so good! The plate itself was delicious. One downside though was the chicken in my Pad Thai. The chicken was a bit dry and very hard to chew. I gave this place four stars because of the fast service, friendly atmosphere and the food. Unfortunately, the tables are really small(hard to fit two people with the huge plates) and the chicken was a tad bit dry. Other than that it is a place you must eat at in Winooski!!!

Here are a few of my favorite dishes at this restaurant: Tom Kha soup Crispy combo Massaman Curry Panang Curry As for complaints from other reviewers: a. I’ve never smelled cigarettes in here and I have a very sensitive nose and b. most thai dishes are not traditionally eaten with chopsticks(hence not having them at the restaurant — BECAUSENOTALLASIANCUISINEISTHESAME) c. don’t come here with a large group; it’s small and they only have a few tables to accommodate 3+ people So cheap. So delicious. Love that it’s BYOB

I love this little treasure of a place. Someone mentioned that it smelled like cigarettes when you walk in. True, but it never smelled like that once you got past the entry doors. The food and the service were both EXCELLENT and I can;t wait to go back. This is my new favorite spot in Burlington My dinner companion was literally moaning with delight at his choices(the salad with shrimp, chicken satay with extra peanut sauce and a green salad.) the food is clean, tasty, reasonably priced and served with a smile. A very pleasant experience all told.
