El Maguey – Efra’s Grill & Taco Shop

Wow, am I the first to review? A few months ago, I stayed at the Motel 6 next door while traveling cross-​country with our dog. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, and I didn’t want to leave the dog unattended for more than a few minutes in my pursuit of a cheap take-​out dinner. This place was just steps away and seemed clean enough. The gal at the counter was really friendly, the menu items were adequately plentiful and very reasonably priced. I liked the little condiment/​salsa bar on the side. I ordered a carne asade burrito (I think), which was satisfying, so no complaints. Nothing fancy about this place, you won’t be dreaming of coming back, but it’s alright and deserves almost 3.5 stars!!!
