Beautiful venue, great acoustics. Ample parking although you may have to trek for it.

This school and community auditorium is a pretty nice venue. My thought is the cost should be favorably comparable to other venues. It is well maintained and beautiful. I visited for the North Carolina Black Film Festival showing of It’s A Hard Knock Life” by The POINTE! Studio of Dance. The stage appeared roomy and the sound system fit the bill. I was unable to visit the balcony area, but the seats up there appeared to have a great view of the stage as well.

I come here for concerts about once a year. We normally sit in the balcony because you can still see and hear without spending too much money. The auditorium is beautiful and I like how they get students to help usher. The bathrooms get crowded so you may want to go when it is not intermission. Also the parking lot can get backed up so some performances we leave before the encore.

I’m been here several times, mainly watching my daughter attend dance competitions. For a high school, this is a great auditorium. What a fantastic old building. The view from below and the balcony is very good. Acoustics are good as well. If you have the chance to see a a concert or other event here then I would highly recommend.

This high school auditorium rivals some municipal concert halls I’ve been to… it’s beautiful. Tobacco money paid off big for these lucky kids.
