This is place is by far one of the top places around for local BBQ!!! I order the pick 3 combo and it was excellent! The brisket was so tender and juicy it was virtually falling apart as I picked it up!!! The sausage was full of flavor! The ribs were falling off the bone and packed full of juicy amazing flavor! I’ve eaten at some of the best BBQ places in the country Rendezvous in Memphis, Dream Land BBQ in Tuscaloosa, Little Dooeys in Starkville, and Salt Lick in Austin and Hog Heaven is on pace with them! If you’re looking for an excellent local BBQ secret look no further!

Went here for the first time. It looked like the real deal with the set up they had. When the food arrived the portions were small and the food was average. Definitely not worth hefty bill. I love BBQ and I’m willing to pay a pretty penny for good large portions. I probably will not go back to this place.

Ate at the old location a few times and it was pretty good. Last night they missed the mark. We didn’t have to wait for a table, and the restaurant was full, but not busy. The servers all seemed stressed though, and were not quiet about voicing it. The food took about 30 min to come out, not acceptable in my opinion. My ribs were fatty, and didn’t have much smoke flavor. Normally love the cheesy potatoes, but they were greasy and too buttery. Thought this might be our new bbq spot, but after last night, not sure that we’ll be back.

Decided to get them a try Friday night. We tried the fried pickles. The we nice. I ordered chopped pork with greens and the cheesy potatoes. My son got the whole hog sandwich which had the chopped pork with smoked sausage and baked beans. I love the sides and thought the pork was just ok. Nothing great. My son was a little disappointed with the small sandwich. He said it tasted good it just wasn’t enough.

Was there a few days after opening, I have no idea why they changed the way they make there pulled pork but it is nothing like there restuant on cypress Gardens Blvd. They spent a lot of time fixing the building and it was only half full at best and was very noisy. They don’t have french fries and the meat looked like it went through a grinder. Sorry to say I won’t be going back. I love the other one much better.

Enjoyed my lunch of chopped pork, collard greens and corn casserole… No sweet potato on the menu.: (
Not too keen on their BBQ sauces on the table… Corn muffin very small and hard… Crumb inside is very cake like… Not the best BBQ in town… But it’s ok.

Best BBQ in the area, hands down. The few times I have been in here, you can see the employees taking Brisket, Pork, and chicken in/​out of the big smokers outside, so you know you’re getting fresh, wood smoked BBQ. Their sides are equally impressive, and the service has always been outstanding.
