OK here we go. We have been searching for a Pizza Hut the last 45 minutes while on the road. We’re closing in at the end of our destination and decided to stop in Winter haven. Its looking bad already… All the plates near the salad bar were dirty AS well as the plates on the table. WHAT!!! Bump that, we just asked for paper plates and plastic silverware. So to continue on the place is clean but it smells borderline mildew. The carpet desperately needs to be replaced and it’s a little dark. I’m going to check out the restroom then I will let you know what’s up. … Ok so, the trash needed to be taken out but other than that it was a four out of 10. At this point I would have left but my folks wanted personal pans. That brings us to the food. After throughly inspecting the salad bar for a few minutes, I finally put some on «my paper plate of coarse» and good believe it or not it was good. The personal pan pizzas came out fast and were also good. I’mma tell u, the food and the customer service is the only way this place is even getting two stars. This seems to be a problem across the US with alot of Pizza Huts now days. Several need upgrading and/or some TLC. Maybe ownership needs to swing by a little more. It’s an leadership thing to me but what do I know¿ Unfortunately I probably won’t ever go back. Out here

Don’t waste your time. Every time we visit this restaurant, it gets worse and worse. Today was the last straw. My wife phoned ahead for a eat in pizza at the restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes early and were there for an hour & a half waiting. As near as we can tell, they lost our order not once but TWICE. We finally gave up on them and went next door for some KFC. Part of the problem was that they had just one server taking care of the entire dining room. This was prime time on a Friday night and they had just ONE server. And, even though she tried her best to take care of everyone, there was just no way she was going to be able to take care of all the customers. We saw families with children have to wait and wait for service at their table. and then wait some more before they ever got their drinks. or food. We even saw some who’d signed up for the salad bar have to go get their own flatware so they could eat. The manager on duty was a young, 20 something who was trying to take care of customers at the register. But she was obviously overwhelmed too. And, who leaves someone that age to manage things on what has to be one of the busiest nights of the week. Shame on «management» for putting her in the position of having to fend for herself. And, while I’m on this rant … The décor of the dining room has to be 40 or 45 years old. Shame on management once again for allowing their restaurant to become so worn, drab and out dated.
