I really enjoyed this tea room! The customer service, tea, and food was beyond excellent. This tier, tropical tea, and the quiche with broccoli slaw was delicious! For two people which includes the tier, 2 pots of tea, 2 quiches with a side came out to be around $ 56 dollars! Worth every penny!

Super awesome find in winter haven. Although definitely on the pricey side, this vintage British influenced high tea time establishment boasts a solid menu of standard black teas and hors d’oeuvres to accompany. All of the dishes are mismatched meaning good ol garage sale finds or actual vintage finds. The décor is nice and light. They even have settings for kids. I was amazed that my daughter was allowed to dine with us and even after the waitress was so patient with her and me. I ordered the jasmine green tea(I know not black tea) and the haven salad(I think that’s the name. It was the only vegan friendly item on the menu). Overall, awesome customer service and great atmosphere. Good tea and good eats but very little selection when it comes to dietary restrictions.

The place is absolutely adorable. If you just want a cup of tea, go for it. But the food is sparse, and very expensive. There was literally nothing on the menu for a vegetarian so I ended up eating a 14 $ salad of spring mix 2 strawberries and half a tangerine that came with a piece of bread. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for a meal, but for tea or coffee it is a really cute spot.

The Twisted Teapot is the real deal! My best friend and I visited the Twisted Teapot on 11÷6÷2015. I am from Chicago and every time I visit my bestie we try a new tea room. This by far is our favorite! The décor is gorgeous, it’s like a sophisticated Alice in Wonderland! The food and service is top notch! April was our server and she was fantastic! We had the Swan Tea for lunch. The mini sandwiches were awesome. We couldn’t pick a favorite! They were all so delicious and so different! The chicken salad is AMAZING! The desserts were equally delicious. I also had their fresh brewed ice tea and it was wonderful! Living in Chicago, my family lives in the south, you can’t believe how bad so many restaurants mess up ice tea! I asked for the sugar cubes and that made my day! I have a severe strawberry allergy so my plate was a bit different but equally delicious! They were very accommodating to my allergy. We were lucky enough to meet Tara the owner! Tara took several minutes with us talking and sharing her passion for tea and her tea room. She brought about 2 dozen loose teas to our table and gave us a tea smelling and information on tea. I never knew green and black tea was from the same bush! I suggest you make a reservation. Tara THANKYOU for the«goodies,» We devoured them!

Lovely atmosphere. Good food. Great service. 4 to a table keeps the large parties away so its an intimate setting. However 4 to a table keeps large parties away so only a few friends can enjoy it together.

Wonderful Tea Spot Cute little place, food was delicious and staff is very friendly. We stopped here as we were looking for a tea bistro. We had the Swan tea which is sampler of desserts and sandwiches. We also had different tea pots flavors and soups. The potato and leek was delicious. It not that cheap but it is worth trying.

Such a sweet little tea house! My daughters and I went for high tea and my 5 yr old loved it! They have a «kids high tea» not on the menu but it is perfect — includes tea, sandwiches and desserts presented beautifully. I had the veggie quiche and broccoli slaw — delicious! Fun way to spend a summer lunch with my daughters. We got all dressed up and my daughter loved how fancy it was. Waitress was great — sweet, knowledgeable and made it more special for my daughter.

Had lunch her today with a friend. The tearoom is decorated very nice the service was good as was the food. I had the roasted vegetable quiche & broccoli salad no scones or muffins are served before or during the meal. Did have the mini key lime muffin with sample dessert plate and it was very good. The hibiscus iced tea was ok but it was the only choice besides regular unsweetened tea. It was $ 40.00 for the two of us and the portions are very small. Reservation are recommended.

Three of our party had the Swan High Tea and the fourth had the twisted salad. We all enjoyed our meals very much. The ambiance of the place is delightful. They only serve a maximum of four to a table and the largest room only holds four tables. They have fresh flowers on each table and most come from their own rose bushes. We all had the daily special ice tea but in the future we will opt for a hot tea selection.

Truly one of the best tea rooms I’ve been to. My sister and I ordered the«Twisted Tea tower». On the bottom were tea sandwiches… the chicken salad in a crispy wanton cup was to die for. The middle tier was deserts and fresh fruit. The top tier had strawberry and white chocolate scones with cream. Everything was delightful. We each chose a different tea. I had the cranberry orange spice and my sister asked about their chi tea. The waitress very excitedly told her about the chocolate chi tea. I am not a lover of chi, but my sister truly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.

My first trip to the twisted tea pot. The atmosphere is very nice, lovely décor and plenty of room to walk between the tables to get to your own table. I mention this because at many of the other tea rooms in Polk county, one gets the feeling of being packed in like a sardine. While making more profitable earnings for the proprietor, it makes for a tight and often unpleasant dining experience . The hours are listed from 11 – 3, walking in at 2:30 and asking to be seated for tea was not a unreasonable request. The waitress mentioned three times during the ordering process that they closed at three. Needless to say it made for very rushed and unpleasant experience . My daughter ordered a slice of quiche, it was delicious and served with a fruit garnish. Thirteen dollars for this item. This amount of money was not on par with the quality of food or Polk county. Mushroom and Brie, was the soup of the day, the only thing I can say about it without being ugly, is that it was very earthy tasting . I ordered the swan tea, the tea was so weak I kept checking the pot to make sure there were tea leaves in it ! After ten min of allowing it to brew(five is the norm for a black tea) I asked for a new pot and had to remind the waitress that 1 tsp of loose tea per 8 oz, is the recommend measure. Few items on the tiered tray were edible, but most tasted pre packaged. When I asked for clotted cream, I was given a dollop of sweetened cool whip. I did not even attempt to debate with her the extreme difference between the two . We will go back and give their tea room another try, it is fairly new.

I went today and had a wonderful time. I tried the Empress tea and the twisted tea which came with lots of different options which were wonderful. We went around 11:30 and it was slow then but it picked up around 12. Our service was ok it took along time for them to take our order, get us our food, and get the check. The decorations were very fun and eventful. We plan on going back soon.

A ladies lunch dream. A very well decorated Victorian tea room. We sat at a bright table by the window. The mango ice tea was quite refreshing and the chicken salad divine. My friend had a Yummy quiche. We finished the meal with the raspberry scones and a plate of mini desserts. Everything was tasty and fresh. I want to go back and try one of the tea services.

It was just after 11am when I wheeled into The Twisted Teapot on impulse. I knew it was a new tearoom that had just opened and I was eager to check it out! The décor of the place is light, bright and cheerful without being too girlie. My husband happily sat across from me with his cup of coffee while I ordered the Berry Berry tea.(it was flavorful and lightly sweetened… delicious!) Tea was served in a pretty, classic china teapot and china cup & saucer with strainer. We ordered soup, and that was served in attractive glass cups. Hubby got the potato & leek soup while I ordered the soup of the day… a cream soup. While they were served attractively, both soups seriously lacked seasoning. Because we got there just after they opened, we got a table without a reservation and I can see why reservations may be needed… the place filled up quickly. The service was very good, even with a fairly full house. I will make a reservation for future visits to avoid disappointment. Future visits will also include ordering from the High Tea menus: The Swan High tea, Twisted Tea or Single Twist. The price for a pot of tea is VERY reasonable and while the food items are more costly, the prices are not out of line for a better quality eatery.

3.5 Stars So glad to have a tearoom in Winter Haven! First off, it’s a beautiful space — I love how bright and airy The Twisted Teapot is. The décor is so pretty. The owner decorated it with her mother’s love of chandelier’s in mind and it definitely shows. It’s the perfect mix of whimsy and elegance; there’s an Alice in Wonderland feel that makes it very refreshing. Service is always impeccable. I tried them out in the early weeks when a reservation was necessary. I don’t know if that’s the case now, but I’d call ahead to be sure. Both times I’ve been there, the waitress/waiter have both been attentive and pleasant. I love the aprons that the waitresses wear. In terms of food — I’ve gotten the Swan High Tea both times. I really enjoyed the tray for the Swan High Tea. They change up what they put on it, so you get a little variety every time you go. I’m a big fan of the asparagus finger sandwiches with the herb cream cheese and the shortbread. Some criticisms: — The«Southern» Devonshire cream accompanying the scones seems to just be whipped heavy cream and not the thick, creamy clotted cream that’s traditionally associated with tea time; it’s not unpleasant, but just a little inauthentic. I think they should serve jam with their scones too. — The Swan High Tea also comes with a cup of soup. I liked the soup, but I think broth could have been richer and thicker both times. I’ve had the Chicken Kale Orzo and the Cream of Broccoli(or something like that) and the broth just felt watery both times. My mom tried their Roast Beef Sandwich and said the same. It was nice, but just a little bland — the flavors could have definitely been enhanced a little. — This is purely a personal preference on a design standpoint. The black and white checked laminate/vinyl floor kinda throws off the vibe a little bit. Everything looks so upscale and high-end, and the floor just doesn’t really tie in. Overall, I do enjoy what Twisted Teapot has to offer and I’m very glad to support this burgeoning business. If you prefer a light lunch, I’d definitely recommend eating here, but I’d prefer to just stop by for an afternoon dessert and conversation instead.

Easy to find location in the heart of Winter Haven. The décor is so cute and the atmosphere is perfect for a lunch out with the girls! My sister and I both ordered the high tea – however the order somehow got jumbled and we did not get the soup that actually comes with the high tea so I cannot review that. On to what I can review… We started with the Tropical Tea and Berry Berry tea(both hot teas). The tea is served in a teapot, each of us had our own teacup and strainer to strain the seeds/etc out of the tea. The Berry Berry was SO sweet, we loved it. The Tropical was a harsher tea. We were hoping for the cute sugar cubes we are used to at other tearooms… but the regular sugar packets did the job just the same. Our three-tier tray came with 4 sandwiches on the bottom tray for each of us: asparagus roll up, cucumber sandwich, egg salad sandwich and ham salad sandwich. The asparagus roll up was very unique but well worth trying! A chilled asparagus is rolled up inside a garlic-herb cream cheese spread. The cucumber sandwich was creamy and light. The egg salad and ham salad were very small, sort of like a half of a normal triangle – bite sized – but very good! The middle tray was the pastry tray which consisted of a mini berry pie, mini pecan pie, shortbread butter cookie, fruit and some sort of cream cheese/raisin bar. It is a complete toss up which one was our favorite, they were all so tasty! The top tray was a strawberry white chocolate scone with devonshire cream. Originally, they only gave us a dollop of devonshire cream(that’s the best part of tearooms, am I right?!) but quickly brought us more at our request. The scones were good, still hot when they brought them out which made them even more melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The high tea is $ 22. The high tea minus the soup and swan pastries is $ 18.99…so regardless, this is a very affordable tea room! Reservations are suggested but not required. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to visit again!
