Tsunami Sushi

I love this place. You can get a bottle of wine for $ 16, fairly good priced rolls, and the service is great. Jennifer the waitress has been there for a while and is always nice and fast. I recommend the under the sea roll and sashimi salmon. The salmon roe is always good and they always have a pretty presentation when you get your rolls

We’ve tried this place twice because it’s close to our home. I’ll start with the good, the Hot Mama Roll was delicious, the other rolls we tried were ok, not outstanding but definitely not bad. The fried rice however, was the worst fried rice ever, I don’t even know how you could make fried rice that bad. I’m not really convinced it was even fried, it was globby and sticky and it tasted terrible. It took a really long time to get our sushi the second time we went and they didn’t appear to be overwhelmingly busy, I would guess about ²⁄₃ of the tables were full. Our server was super sweet but she was the only server I saw and she was extremely busy.

We are vegan and gluten free so finding places to eat is difficult. We saw Tsunami Sushi had good reviews and decided to give it a go. Success! My five year old LOVES sushi and they happily accommodated his love for avocado rolls — he had three! They made my daughter a veggie rice wrap and they had tamari to accommodate the gluten allergy. The miso soup was delicious — the kids decided they liked ours so much they had to have bowls of their own. My husband and I both had the Teppan platters and they were very good. Our server (Jennifer?) was also super nice, very thorough and efficient. We wanted to return on Sunday but unfortunately they were closed. If we return to Legoland we will surely visit Tsunami Sushi again.

Ordered sushi take out for my husband and I while staying at Lego Land… got back to our room to eat only to find they gave us ONE TINY serving of soy sauce and NO wasabi! Tsunami Sushi FAIL!

Smelled weird as soon as I went in and should have left then! Yuck! I think I would have had better food down the road at Ruby Tuesdays. Which is not saying much.
Bathrooms were GROSS!

Found this place through Unilocal looking for a place to eat post-​Legoland. Totally lived up to the 4.5 star rating.
Had two rolls, one was new and recommended by our waitress. Paradise roll was amazing. Good edamame, okay miso soup.
Kids PB&J roll was unique and fun. Kids meal with shrimp was good portion.
Jennifer our waitress was friendly, patient and helpful with our little ones who can be a bit difficult in restaurants. She was great all the way through and even knew when it was time for the check — didn’t have to ask for it while the kids spun out of control.

It was alright, I had high hopes from the reviews. I’m a big sushi fan and have eaten it at many places in FL and all over the US so maybe I’m too picky with sushi. This place is not quite as good as a couple in Tampa and nowhere near as good as a couple in Orlando. The ginger salad was OK, lots of white lettuce. The rolls were a little bland and the fish is not quite as fresh as I like.

Why 3 stars??? Because it was only ok. Ordered take out, which was quick and easy. We ordered the green (ginger) salad as well as the Beauty and the Beast and African rolls.
The ginger salad was all white lettuce and not good, although I liked the dressing. The Beauty and the Beast roll was alright, although all the fish was very fresh. The African roll was better, and had a nice after burn.
My major peeve is that the pieces were cut big. I like to be able to pop a piece in my mouth and not feel like a pig trying to chew and swallow it. I might try it again, but doesn’t top my list for sushi. I’ve been spoiled by good sushi in Tampa and Orlando and but am willing to give them another try at some point.

I have been to sushi places all around the country and still nothing compares to my home town Tsunami Sushi in quality of food and service.

You don’t have to drive to Orlando for great sushi. Tsunami Sushi is wonderful! Fresh, tasty food and fast, friendly service.

We had a wonderful experience when we visited this establishment. Our waitress Jennifer was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. We had several sushi rolls and the Tuna Tataki was amazing. We are not locals as we live in upstate NY but we will definitely visit next year!

This is mine and my boyfriends goto place for our monthly-​versaries. The sushi is amazingly good and it’s your average price range for most sushi restraunts. I recommend the Samurai roll, Tempura roll and the Philly roll every time. Eat here!

My daughter and I came in 20min before they close for lunch time. We didn’t know they were going to close at 2:30pm. The food was okay, but the service was terrible. I understand that the waiters wants to leave soon, but she was on her cell phone the whole time. We had to wait to check out. How rude. We are not happy with the service, so we’re not going to there again.

Absolutely love this place. I’ve never had a bad meal her or bad sushi. The staff is always kind and attentive. The fish is always fresh and the atmosphere is excellent. They have lunch specials until 2:30. They have a great selection of sushi rolls sashimi and acoholic beverages. I suggest the Mexican roll and the plum wine. This place is the only restaurant that will give you $ 25 off your meal on your birthday!!!

Best sushi place I’ve been to. Excellent service. And AMAZING SUSHI. I recommend the Bubba roll. And the prices are Outstanding!!! ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Great sushi and sashimi, beautiful presentation. Had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, eel, baby octopus, mackerel, smoked salmon — all were great. Katsu entrees were good also, a lot of sides — rice, noodles, vegetables. Very close to Legoland.

This place is awesome — and I’m not just saying that because I just left Legoland and have the «awesome» song stuck on my head. GREAT sushi. I wasn’t hungry when I got here but after one bite I just couldn’t stop eating. Even my picky kids loved the PB & J roll.

Katie our server was a delight. Took our daughter for Bday (got $ 25 off bill-​who does that?). Fidel made our orders, while cordially entertaining us. Food: the BEST I’ve had since San Fran. Quality, presentation along with attentive service made for a very special experience. Highly recommend, will most definitely b returning.

Great service, incredible food with a great presentation !! For a strip center place with little ambience the place kills it ! Very good!
