Firehouse Subs

First time at a firehouse, and when pressed for time, I prefer a subway. Cost is similar to a subway, I wasn’t a fan of their bread, didn’t seem soft & fresh enough for my liking. I had a Tiuna sandwich, which was just OK. Service was good, but will not likely make a repeat visit.

I love the smoke brisket sub and the meatball are my two favorites. Like the fresh food for fast food.

I love this place. I have never been to a firehouse before this one, and the beef and cheddar brisket blew me away. The staff is awesome,“dude that looks like chris rock works there”, and they always take good care of your sandwich etc. The soft drink machine tastes weird, which is probably why they are always out of tea. Prepare your drinks ahead of time. Dangerously good sandwiches though.

Although the prices can be a bit high compared to subway, the full sail punch card thing is great. The staff is super friendly and the sandwiches are good. I wouldn’t say they’re off the charts fantastic but much better than subway!
I just wish they hadn’t changed to the new coke machine. The coke that comes out of the new touch screen machine is just gross so I’ve been trying to find something that tastes like it should.

Service isn’t bad but the food is yuck. Boiled meat is just not for me. Publix deli is so much better with seemingly fresher bread. Beware this Firehouse is on Full Sail University campus so parking can be rough.

Went here last night with boyfriend. He had the Firehouse Hero while I had the Italian. The were cut into 2 halves and we swapped. That way we got to experience our sandwich and what each other had.
The Italian was good! I think they put a tad bit too much Italian dressing on the sandwich because as I picked it up the top half of the sandwich slid off to the side with the toothpick in it. The Firehouse Hero was great as well. I think I enjoyed this one a little more. It had a lot of flavor and I couldn’t get enough of it.
Another great thing is they have this great painted picture on the wall once you enter. The one thing that catches your eye before that is all the different hot sauces they have. They have everything from your typical Texas Hot Sauce or Frank’s RedHot up to Jim Beam sauce, White Lightening BBQ sauce, and many many more! I didn’t know what to try because there were so many!
Overall, great experience! The people who took our order were very friendly. I will be returning here to try another one of their great subs!
