Went to the Howell Branch Saturday farm stand today. Driven past it a number of times during the week and finally was able to stop. Perhaps my expectations were too high from reading other reviews, but I was disappointed. Found the prices to be rather high($ 5 for a dozen eggs seemed pretty steep). There were no samples at all :-(Also, they have their land up for sale so they may be closing up shop soon. We did buy some honey taken from hives right on their farm so that was a nice plus, but it did cost us $ 12.

Love the black and bleu cheese, it’s very good. They’re at the Winter Park Farmers Market, have a farm stand open at the above address(around the fire station on Howell Branch Rd a bit west of Dodd), and should also have the stand open sometime on weekdays. I think I was told something like 3 – 6? I’m so torn between giving a 4 and a 5, so I’ll say 4.5. The cheese is really good(I love blue cheese), but it’s not my favorite blue cheese I’ve ever had. That being said, it’s local, so go support your local business!

Awesome little farm store tucked away in the middle of the neighborhoods on Howell Branch Rd. They have their own bees! And I saw a cow and some horses. The little shop is really small and the selection is limited but the raw milk cheese is so worth it and reasonably priced. They’re open Saturdays from 10 till 2 or 3. It’s cash or check only(but who uses checks anymore) so bring cash, but everything is local, natural and DELICIOUS!

The farm store is open at the above address! They have samples… mmmmm…samples. The blue sunshine is the best thing I have put in my food hole since sampling there black and bleu cheese. If you haven’t had raw milk cheese before then unhook your lips form that can of spray cheese and lug your uncultured cheese hole over to the farm store.

They have a Farm Store at their location on Howell Branch/436. I believe they said the hours are 10 – 3, and they were open on Saturday which is nice for people that have to work all week. This is absolutely the best cheese you will ever eat, especially if you’re a fan of bleu cheese. We sampled the florida cheddar, blue sunshine, and black & bleu(with black peppercorns in it) — and bought all three! That’s just how good it is. You can buy it from the local food co-op but the farm store has different sizes ranging from $ 2 – 8 so there’s more options in the amount you buy. At the co-op it’s all $ 8 chunks of cheese, which can get expensive when you want variety. The cashier was friendly and the place is rural but right in town, which is a nice surprise. They also sell organic eggs, butter, and goat cheese which it appears they trade with other farms for, and they even sell local honey. I will definitely be going back next week to support this local agri-business.

Ok, first off. this is a booth at the Winter Park Farmer’s market. The dairy itself is the address listed, and I don’t believe they have a shop on the premises of the dairy farm, but it is the contact info. To sample and buy some for yourself, go to the WP Farmer’s market on Saturdays. Now on to the good stuff. the CHEEEEEESE! Wow, do they make some really good cheese. It is raw milk cheese, used from the cows on their farm. I sampled 2 kinds of blue and a tomme that tasted like a creamy parmesan. Bought 2, the tomme and a ‘black and blue’ which is their blue cheese with black pepper. I’m just starting out in making cheese at home for fun, they were really friendly and answered all my questions, very cool people. And they make some seriously wonderful cheese. Check their website to see some of the restaurants that are using them, and get down to the farmer’s market to sample it for yourself!
