Love this place. We try to come here and tube at least once a year(never camped.) Great for groups. We bring a couple coolers(one with drinks, one with food) and just float down the river. Staff is very friendly. We usually go on Sundays, as it’s less crowded.

I went canoeing here on a Saturday with some family. If you enjoy nature and seclusion this place is not for you. If you enjoy a bunch of drunk white trash all day with extremely rude and unorganized staff then this place is for you. This is not at all appropriate for children as the majority of their customers are their to get hammered as they float down their river with no censor.

We went tubing through Point Bluff which was awesome. They drove you to the starting point on a shuttle and you floated back. Nice lazy river and totally worth the money. The campsite was a little less secluded than I would have liked, but right on the river and pretty nice for how much you pay. Would do this again!

DONOTCAMPHERE. We showed up expecting camping and that is NOT what is going on here. Also we had an emergency before we set up a single thing and had to leave and they would not refund is a single dollar of our $ 100 payment. Let me make it clear that you will pay $ 100 to literally camp in the middle of a big open space surrounded by other people, zero nature, zero seclusion. This place is a joke.

This place is just amazing. We came on 6÷29÷15. We signed up for a site and tubing. She kindly let us walk around a bit to find the site we wanted so we could set up our hammock. We found site #4 to be perfect for us! We were also able to set up our tent before we went out to go tubing. I have tubed this river before but with a much larger group. This time it was just me and my boyfriend. I was nervous because we seemed to be the only people at the camp site. The lady at the window informed us that there was a large group out on the river that just left. I was relieved! After a bus ride up the river we were released into the dark cool waters of the ol Wisc River!!! And sure enough I could see the large group ahead of us about a quarter mile down stream. We began our journey and cracked a few beers. Eventually just shy of the half way bar we nearly caught up to the group some how. They greeted us with joy! The half bar was sadly closed. Continuing down the river my boyfriend and I found Annie Island. We sat here for 2 hours basking in the sun. This was the best part of the trip!!! Next time I would love to rent a canoe and camp on this tiny island. Eventually 6PM was rolling around. We got back to the resort and went to the bar. Lisa the bartender was so great. She made us a cheese burger pizza with pickles and thousand island. UMMMYUM! I also lost a shoe on the river and she gave me a spare pair of flipflops! A storm rolled through while at the bar. Which sucks for camping. :(We eventually met the owner. The sweetest man ever! He bought us all a drink in the bar! We sadly had to sleep in the car due to the rain getting into our tent. Oh well. Will be back at the end of summer! :)

Point Bluff is a hoot! We just got back yesterday from our second camping trip with them and it was great! Our group had three campsites 9, 10, 11. The campsites are modestly sized and moderately priced. They will fit one tent comfortably and maybe two tents if you squeeze a bit. The campsites have electricity, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Unfortunately, we have had quite a bit of rain this year so the campsites were pretty soggy for most of the weekend. One thing about this place that I am personally super thankful for are clean port-a-potties. There is nothing worse than walking into a port-a-potty and it being disgusting so kudos to Point Bluff for keeping up with those! The tubing is the main reason we stay here. Grab some friends, some drinks, and some sun block and float down the river for 3 – 5 hours. What else could you ask for? The resort drops you off up river, you float for a few hours, stop at the sister camp ground, have a drink, hop back in your tube, and land right back at your campsite! OH! and if they have karaōke, don’t miss it!

Another fantastic trip. Thanks Point Bluff. Still the best canoe trip for the family. Perfect river for beginners. Give yourself enough time for a long picnic on a sand bar.

For a relaxing and fun adventure tubing down the Wisconsin River is a blast! They will drop you off up river… and for hours you will leisurely drift down the river… there are islands to picnic and explore along the way… don’t forget to rent a tube for your cooler and beverages of your choice! It’s a great place to bring a group(we had over a dozen) …squirt guns and plenty of sunscreen will help for a fun day(waterproof sunscreen is a must!!!).

Amazing place to rent kayaks, tubes and canoes, and there is even a bar and restaurant right there! It is located in the northern part of the upper dells, and is about 20 minutes from downtown. It is a great place for beginning kayakers, or those who would like an easy ride. There is a bus that takes you upstream, and you paddle your way back to the resort afterwards. There are different packages and prices for kayaks, depending on where you would like to get dropped off. These range from about $ 30 – 50, and also have a time limit, depending on how far you have to go. You can also rent kayaks for a $ 30 day pass, and not get dropped off anywhere. although I recommend it, cause the current is REALLY strong, and going upstream does not look like it would be easy! There are other boats around, as this is a wake permitted area, but the river is wide enough that they do not cause too many waves.
