I’m not a parent, but I’ve been here in the capacity of guest speaker and as an attendee for their wellness fair. Early Intervention is setup for children up to age three that are showing developmental delay or at risk for developmental delay. Some of the children I have worked with here have autism, cerebral palsy and down’s syndrome. It is so cool to have such a program available to parents to help them become educated and to feel supported. There’s a weekly parents group that meets while staff persons supervise the youngsters playing in a nearby playroom.
Five stars for the community reaching out, especially when it comes to families that need a little extra support to get through the day!
