Evolved Health Chiropractic & Sports Medicine

I woke up this morning in excruciating pain, from my lower back, and right shoulder. I’ve had back pain for decades. I find this chiropractor, Evolved Health Chiropractic, & sports medicine, on Facebook of all places, I could not stand up straight from the pain. I emailed them, and they called back quickly, and got me in today! I was so grateful. Just got back, I love this place! So many specialty treatments. Massage, can’t wait, I love massage, but the best part was the treatment for my back… Gonna be sore for few days, but he stretched parts I forgot were there. Lol. Going back till I can move around again, but great place for pain!!! Thank you!!! Got homework to!!:)

I have been to many chiropractors over the years on both coasts and Dr. Ellis from Evolved Chiropractic is truly one of the best! He stands apart from the rest by taking his time with each patient by providing 30 minute treatment sessions. (I believe the initial visit is about 1 hour.) Most chiropractors get you in and out in 10 – 15 minutes and skip the muscle relaxation treatments. He is down to earth, a good listener and he truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Ellis provides electrical stimulation and heat packs before his adjustments to relax the muscles. He then provides myofacial release and trigger point massage therapy techniques to further melt your muscle tension away. He has been able to adjust me very easily every time whereas a few of the chiropractors I have seen over the years were not able to adjust my spine due to «tight» muscles.
The location is excellent. He is located in the Today’s Fitness gym building in Woburn, Mass. You enter through the gym or via the back entrance. There is plenty of free parking. He also shares an office with acupuncturists and other alternative practitioners.
The office is clean, inviting and professional. Dr. Ellis is highly recommended and he accepts most health insurances!

Dr. Ellis is simply the best. He has done great things to allow me to continue my active lifestyle free from pain. In addition, he has treated my wife and allowed her to do the same. Down to earth doctor that gets to know his patients and takes great care of them.

Dr. Jim Ellis is awesome. it’s been awhile since the last time I needed to see a chiropractor, but Dr. Ellis made it easy. He is not your normal — adjustment and leave chiropractor… he sits down discusses in depth what your feeling and gives great advice on how to reach your goals. I can say, I will be a regular patient.

I’ve gone to a bunch of chiropractors before and usually I’m in and out in 5 minutes after they crack my back and neck. Dr. Ellis spent over 30 minutes with me working on the muscles that were causing my neck issues and explaining to me how everything was interconnected. He is professional, knowledgable, and thorough. Since I started working with James I’ve noticed improved mobility in my hips, and my back pain is way down.
