Great Cuban food! First time here and food. Good size portion for the money is well with it. It’s not fast food or bar food. Check out the menu. The Cuban bread is awesome!

I am really picky when it comes to eating out so for me to give a 5 star is rare. The place is really clean and neat. I have never ate Cuban food before so I kept it simple and tried the Salmon Caribe Platter for $ 9.99 that the waitress recommended and I must admit it was off the chain!!!
The menu was easy to understand and menu selection is good. It’s a «people friendly» warm place to go out to eat and the food is really Delicious! I will return but next time I will try Big John’s Cuban Sandwich.

Nice tidy place and friendly staff, the Cuban sandwich was rather Good but the Garlic was overpowering, we up charged the «Cuban fries» for $ 2.00 more which was supposed to more than double the standard offering but when served there was only like two bites? I would have hated to see the standard offering. The «slaw» was in a 2oz Solo cup and consisted of one bite. The side portions definitely need to be a bit more generous and they need to back off on the Garlic, not so sure I will be back anytime soon.

Tried out the Big Johns Cuban Café today for lunch. The restaurant had nice atmosphere friendly servers a simple menu with a variety of flavor.
From the time I ordered to the time food was served was abruptly 6 to 7 minutes pretty quick for a cooked order restaurant.
You’ll never leave this place hungry the portions are more than a gratuitous.
I will be back.

I’m Cuban and originally from Miami, Fl; this café brings me back home! The food is delicious and just like my grandma’s cooking. If you want authentic Cuban food this is it.
Also, just a reminder, all the food is made from scratch so if you come during peak times expect a little of a wait but it’s worth it. Not to mention the prices are great. Thank you Big John for bringing a piece of home to the Riverbend!

Great Food, try the bacon and bacon LT one side sweet one side spicy!!! Sweet side tastes like a Mcgriddle. Try the Tres Leche for dessert to top off your meal!

My family and I were so excited about the new restaurant to our area, I couldn’t wait to eat their. So Friday night Jan 15th we tried it. and it was amazing. Mt son and I had the BBQ Cuban, and my sons friend had the AmeriCuban, and we had the Tres Leche, flan, and key lime pie … OMG it was AMAZING! we will definitely be eating Here again

Had the big John sandwich with the Frita fries and it was great. I will definitely recommend this café. One shot of the Cuban café is comparable to 2 cups of my folders.

Cuban was outstanding and the frita fries were amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely will be back.
