LOVE Rita’s! When I’m just getting ice I usually go with Sour Patch Kids Red, Watermelon Cream Ice, Lemon or Cherry. Watermelon Cream Ice is my faaaavorite! I love the little specks of chocolate minis in the ice. It reminds me of the watermelon log from Friendly’s.
They hook it up with the gelatis here. I always go vanilla custard but my brother has gotten some weird combinations that surprisingly taste amazing. For example: chocolate custard with green apple ice and chocolate custard with cherry. I like to keep it simple with lemon ice and vanilla custard.
Plenty of parking in this shopping complex. Friendly staff and the line moves fast in the summer. They accept cash and credit card.

Any chances I get, I’ll try to get Rita’s ice when I’m in jersey. I got the mango with strawberry custard. The mango was great. I love how refreshing it was on a hot day. The strawberry custard tasted good but it melt way too fast for me.

I would like to give them a 1 star since no more misto but that wouldn’t be nice.

Best Rita’s I’ve been to. I’ve tried a lot of different Rita’s over the years, this is hands down the best. They have a large selection of flavors, they do contests, fund raising, & are very active in the community. Everything tastes great, especially the custard. YUM!

If you’ve read my review for Rita’s in Clark, you already know that I love Ritas. I’d pretty much do anything you’d do for a Klondike bar x10. This location is pretty much the standard that you’d find at any other Rita’s though it seemed to me they had more of a selection than the Clark location. The parking situation is much easier — since its at the end of a strip mall, there’s enough parking for everyone.

Rita’s Italian Ice always exceeds my expectations. Something about that vanilla custard or those misto shakes that definitely keep me coming back for more. Flavors vary depending on the day, but my favorites are cherry and green apple. They also have a new strawberry custard that is pretty good.
This one is located in a very transited street, but there is always enough parking as it is in a shopping mall area. Its prices are reasonable and they always have coupons or some sort of deal going on, it’s always a pleasure to treat myself to some Rita’s!

This is not the old school Italian Ice I had hoped for. It is more like a water ice with little pieces of fruit in it. Not bad, but not Italian Ice.

The store is immaculate and the ice is fresh and flavorful. I recommend the gelatis. Super yummy!
This location can get a long line on a hot summer night, but they move the line quickly and it’s worth the wait!

I always pass by this location on my way to somewhere else in Woodbridge. It’s tucked away in a small shopping plaza where the old A&P used to be. I always told myself that I’d stop here one hot day for a yummy italian ice.
Now, it’s been a while since I had Rita’s but my first spoon full of the Gelati (Italian ice topped w/​their custard) made me remember exactly what I was missing. Luckily I wasn’t driving and I ended up devouring half of my gelati before I made it back to work. Sidebar– I got the Chocolate italian ice w/​the chocolate custard (Very inspiring/​creative huh?) lol.
They had a wide range of flavors (but not the one I specifically came for which was the piña colada.) The stand was very clean and the attendants very nice and helpful. Not to mention patient since I stood there for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what I wanted.
